Hotel check-in staff was great wasn't too impressed with the fact that our room was about a two minute drive away and we had to turn down another street where if you blinked you would pass it up, parking was underground which was nice especially in the summer time. Hotel room was very nice and clean wasn't too impressed on the bed being on the floor mattress was comfortable so were the small pillows, The biggest problem my husband and I had to endure was the shower head in the shower they need to pull that showerhead about 1 foot away from the wall or you are going to continuously hit your elbows against the wall... To check out we had to make the two minute drive again but other then that it was a nice stay...
It was a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Being a local it's nice, like getting out of town but not driving too far!
Sadly, I wish Lake Las Vegas was doing better financially & attracting more people literally a short 20 min. Drive away from the strip to enjoy water activities & a place to relax! Because this place was awesome and the lagoon to go swimming in was by far our favorite. It was the perfect quick getaway for my 12yr. Old son and my husband & I....i wish they had more weekend or 2 night stay deals for locals but we loved it!!
Did not receive room I paid for. Hotel blaming booking I spoke to booking who stated mix up was with hotel. Hotel staff was not customer oriented. Would not go back.
As being a resort, nothing was extra ordinary. Just clean room that is about it. In their website wrong information about Swimming pool closure that is it said it will be closed from December 3rd, though it was already closed fro 2 weeks when we reached on November 28th. The website was advertising about Village next to the resort, which is empty just few restaurant and cafe were opened, which was WAY over prized. Overall nothing FUN. If you want to just stay in hotel room and use the GYM then its fine, nothing extra...
Front desk staff on hold with travel company for ever! Waited 1 hour to get checked in. Be aware of the $23-24 per day "resort fee". In a nice little Mediterranean like village, but a lot of the shops were closed and the Irish pub was a bit over priced. Room was nice. This is a long way from Vegas. Huge convention was in town and not much availability closer in other than a dirty extended stay place.
We stayed in the updated area of the Hotel/Condo. We thought we were to stay in the village section. Overall, a clean, updated room and facility that is within walking distance to the village area.
great firework show and holiday atmosphere. fun for both single couples and families alike.
The resort was active and decorated during the New Year's 2012 holiday. Fine restaurants, beautiful decorations and live entertainment was enjoyed by all. Rooms are very clean, modern, with everything needed. The New Years fireworks show is very entertaining. Wonderful alternative to the strip with a casino on the grounds.
What a great concept! I was impressed with the village style resort. Walking down cobblestone streets to restaurants and shops including Live music and a great Irish Pub. A few shops were closed, but still very nice. I was hoping for a water view, but was very happy to be facing the village with views of lighted trees and live music. In the morning, the sun came up behind us so we enjoyed breakfast outside without sun in our face.
Only one place to have breakfast in the village that stop serving at 10:30Am. That resort has a Casino!! Who goes to have breakfast at 9:00Am at a place where people go to sleep after 2:00Am?
The resort was not quite as I expected. All pools were closed. Game room...CLOSED. Half the stores in the shopping area was CLOSED. It's like a ghost town. Not to mention the Casino was CLOSED. This should have been mentioned in the booking process. Have a warning...saying MOST OF THE STUFF IS CLOSED! Should have stayed at Loew's Hotel instead.
the accommodations were very nice. We ate at two of the restaurants in the Village,Bernards Bistro and the 3 Amiegos, they were both outstanding. WE had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed it very much.
this is the best hotelI have ever had in Las Vegas
Beautiful, relaxing location w/great view of lake, ice rink. Shops, restaurants convenient but limited. Rooms are very nice. Negative--Our room was not cleaned while we were there (two nights). TV quit and it took several hours to get it fixed. Missed football games on day after T'giving. Bummer! NOTE: Great Rueben sandwich/fries at Irish pub!!! They have a lot to improve on. Understand they are recovering from bankruptcy so limited staff may be issue. I believe it will be better and would try it again.
It appears this quasi-hotel/timeshare is dying a slow death. Our room was nice and very quiet (floppy showerhead). We had a view of Lake Las Vegas and a dead golfcourse, which made for some nice walking on the golfcart paths. Since the Ritz Carlton shut down, the place seemed deserted at times. The beautiful Pontevecchio bridge has been neglected with many ceiling panels missing and damaged walls. One can see that in its day, this resort would have been a delightful place to stay. We like to stay off the Strip, but this was a bit remote. A 30-40 minute drive to real civilization. On site, few shops are open, with limited hours. The casino is closed. Other guests seemed to wonder what had happened, also. And finally, our so-called deal was disguised by an additional daily $25 resort fee (with the tax).
even a simple online airline check-in,which for me is sometimes a big deal wasdone for me by kim.that was one less thing for me to worry about.
Very Quiet, clean, and had great fishing.
This is a great place to get away! They had a live concert right next to the lake and will start doing movie nights @ the same spot this month. Beautiful views all around! Resort has multiple restaurants and shops; all with very pleasant, helpful, & joyful staff. This was really a great and very enjoyable stay. Loved the room! Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas. Drive is about 30 miles from the strip but has some nice scenery.
