I was extremely disappointed with my stay at The Cromwell. While it may have once had charm, the current condition of the hotel is unacceptable. The decor is severely outdated, with peeling paint and cracked wood throughout the room—definitely not what you’d expect for the price point. To make matters worse, I was hit with surprise resort fees upon check-in, even though I had already paid for my stay in full. For what, exactly? There’s no room service, the one on-site restaurant closes at 9pm, and the front desk might as well be abandoned. I called multiple times for assistance and got no answer. I literally had to Google information about the hotel I was already staying in. That’s beyond frustrating—it’s flat-out unacceptable. This was not the Vegas experience I was hoping for. Between the lack of service, limited amenities, and deteriorating facilities, I can confidently say I will not be staying at The Cromwell again. Do better.

The hotel is very nice. Every single staff member was so friendly and helpful, I mean everyone- concierge, bartender, housekeeping, maintenance, cocktail waitresses! The location is perfect and within walking distance to almost everything. The room was cute and everything was so clean. Will definitely be back!

We were greeted by a wonderful receptionist at the front desk. She went above and beyond, checking as in early and given his great ideas of activities going on in Vegas.

Comfortable Stay with a Rooftop Twist

I recently stayed at this hotel and while it’s definitely an older property, I was impressed by how clean everything was. The room, bathroom, and common areas were all well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. Plus, the prime location right on the Vegas Strip is a major bonus—super convenient for walking to nearby attractions. Just a heads-up: there’s a rooftop bar, so music can be heard throughout the night. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for me, but something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly option with great cleanliness and location.

Nice facade, same old smokey interior with dark, small rooms. My room REEKED of cigar smoke and the lighting was terrible, why they don't have more lighting in the rooms is beyond me.

Nice Stay in a Smaller Vegas Hotel on The Strip

Took a guys golf trip to Vegas and very much enjoyed the Cromwell. While the design and condition of the finishes of the hotel could use a bit of an upgrade, the service was very good. The real advantage of staying in a smaller hotel in Vegas comes through in how easy (and close) it is to park and to access your room - no walking miles through a casino floor just to get to your room. It's an easy walk to the properties at Ceasars (being one itself) and right next door to the Flamingo and the other properties on that end of the strip. I highly recommend the Cromwell if you're looking for some of the benefits of being on The Strip, but want the advantages of service that come with being at a property that doesn't have thousands of room.

Pros... location. Being in the middle of the strip was nice. Bed was super comfortable. It was clean. Cons... check in process took over an hour. We reserved a room with a king size bed. Didn't know they gave us 2 queens until we got up to the room. Went back downstairs and had to wait for a management to "find" a room in their inventory. I didn't like that there wasn't a safe in our room. The waitresses werent very attentive to walk around with drinks while gambling.

Went for my daughter’s 21st birthday.location was ideal, but was extremely pricey. Wouldn’t have minded the price if didn’t arrive to a dirty bathroom in one suite with poop and pee all over the toilet. Then took half the next day for someone to come clean it. Manager was very accommodating and offered acceptable solutions. Second room had to be changed due to a back up of sewage in the sink. Overall a very nice hotel and my daughter loved her trip after the few mishaps. Again the manager and staff were excellent.
