Nice hotel.. we have stayed here at least five times because of the staff. I wish they had better ventilation because the smoke is soooo bad..

My daughter and I enjoy the facility. We didn’t need to go anywhere for anything. It was all right there for us to enjoy. The only thing we would have liked to have had was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. There was plenty of space for it. Other than that everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hotel has friendly staff and located conveniently close to freeway and the strip. Guest reception and waiting areas are nice and comfortable but located too far from the room elevators. Fridge and microwave are not standard amenities in the rooms. Wifi is spotty and inconsistent. The window view is not worth the room rate.

Although obviously a large area for the casino, the hotel has lots and lots of other entertainment options. A 16 screen movie theater, 124 bowling lanes (one 60 lane bowling alley for general public and a 64 lane bowling alley with audience seating for professional bowlers), beautiful swimming pool, 11 restaurants, a rodeo arena, two other arenas for horse exhibitions, horse stables, an arcade, Seattle Coffee, ice cream, and other great options. All the above is indoors except the pool. The staff is very accomadating to requests and we had a great time. We did not gamble as we were in Las Vegas for other reasons, but we had not been to LV for a number of years and we were mildly surprised at how expensive things had gotten.

Clean, Friendly, easily accessible.Pleasant stay would definitely stay again.

The hotel looks very nice from the outside. Once you go inside, the casino looks and smells bad. We arrived to Vegas late and checked in the hotel late and we were very tired. They checked us in and when we went to the room, the room smelled disgusting, so I looked everywhere to find out, I found that someone used the toilet but never flushed, took a shower and left. I called the front desk and they didn't even know about it and they sounded like that was a normal thing and it happens all the time, they said Okay we will give you another room. Every day we went out the cleaning people will come and just make the bed and put some towels in the bathrooms. The whole casino and hotel smells very bad! The people at the front desk were rude and careless, when we were leaving we complain about what we been through, they did not act like they care or they even want to hear about it. They were more interested to argue with us about the coupon book they gave us and we lost it, and we asked for another one, and the refused to give us another coupon book so we could get a discount on their Own buffet. PATHETIC! Like most people I have seen and stayed at many many hotels in my life, This was one of the worst EVER!

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. All you needed for a couple of days were all contained in this hotel. Good restaurants.

Hotel has everything; from casino, to cinema, bowling alley to equestrian arena! Not to mention the restaurants! Definitely something for everyone!

Awesome Experience, for sure my next stay here. Friendly staff, clean environment. Specially the Car Parking Services Awsome.

The hotel is showing it's age. Suggest needs updating , repainting and refurbishing. The elevator buttos are so faded, First impression...fair.

Spacious room, Hotel has good amenities and restraunts. Nice pool and Spa. Good Casino. During our stay there was an event in the equestrian arena, and sometimes near the elevators you could smell the horses, not horrible but I have an allergy to horses. If visiting the strip you need a car or pay for shuttle. I would stay here again.

We usually stay at South Point when visiting Las Vegas because the prices are most competitive, the minimum table bet is only $5, they have a movie theater and a bowling alley and they are on the Strip.

Everything from being allowed to check in early, to asking for a mini fridge for the room. Things went smooth and quickly! Staff, amenities, casino, dining, are all top notch. It's about 7 miles from the strip, but also away from all the hussel and bussel. Without sacrificing anything. Do yourself the favor and book a stay with South Point. You'll be glad you did!!

Good time, quick stay,in for the nascar truck race

My husband and I stayed on our honeymoon and we had a great time. Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.

Overall rating would be higher if it was not for the $21 a day resort fee which is much too high for what you get and what you will actually use. The resort fees is just a round about way to get more money out of guests for services the guests don't use or need. But we pay it so until we stop going to hotels that charge high resort fees its going to continue and it will keep going up.

My friend and I went to Vegas to see Fluffy - Comedian on stage at the Mirage. We preferred to stay at South Point because it was reasonably priced, nice looking hotel, kind people working there, a movie theatre inside the hotel, a nice gym at the hotel, comfy beds, nice bathrooms, good food and fun atmosphere. HONESTLY .... the only thing we had a problem with was the alarm clock - it kept BUZZING and we would shut it off. Then it would go again a short while later. Don't know why. We were in Room 386. Also, We really appreciated the extra hour we were given for "late check out at 1:00". The staff was kind enough to give us that time. THANK YOU because my trip up there was NOT such a wonderful drive as I got a FLAT TIRE in the middle of the desert between Barstow & Baker (Temp:94) & there was no where I could go to get a tire at 5pm on Friday night 9/15/17. UGH! I had to be towed in to Baker on a flatbed, was taken to Del Taco parking lot to wait for the 2nd tow truck by AAA Auto Club to arrive and hook me up on the truck again to take me into Vegas ... about another 113 or so miles to the local Las Vegas BMW dealership. It was a stressful drive. So thank you for making my stay wonderful. I had fun and so did my best friend. The movie we saw was Home Again. Great movie! Only thing we would have liked to see was a mini frig in the room. That's our only complaint : - ) thank you again. Mary Lee
