Circus Circus Hotel, Casino & Theme Park

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

I was in Las Vegas for an interview. I spent four nights at Circus Circus and enjoyed each of those nights. The room was clean and spacious. I had two beds in my room, Sky Tower, one of which I didn't need. They were not generous as far as the shower was concerned, two little soap bars and one tube of shampoo. It wasn't a big deal to me, I just found it amusing. Overall, the Circus is a good place to stay.

Room was very clean. View could have been better. Comfortable king size bed. On Strip close to everything.

The location for this hotel is great. The room however is not much to look at. You book a room online knowing that you will have to pay a resort fee what you don’t know is that the room you are booking is the worst room they have Accross the street from the actual main hotel. To put it in the language the person that checked us in used “the room you booked is the cheapest room we have and we compare it to a Motel 6”. Pictures online are for the 10 or 20 dollar upgraded rooms. We ended up upgrading because we wanted to be in the hotel not accross the street. Parking is free and that’s rare in Vegas.

This place would be great if they made some improvements. Put some fresh paint on the walls. New carpet. Beds were nice and showers were hot so can’t complain too much. The buffet is not worth eating. Very disappointed in the buffet quality and choice.

This room isn't the best by far, old box dinosaurs tv and other guest staying there were super loud and it was a marijuana smoke house . Poeple smoking and it was uncomfortable as a guest coming from east coast to enjoy myself I really wanted to let front desk know what was happening but didn't want to ruin someone's us stay . I really feel like circus circus should refund my stay . I'm going to write them and I'll do an update to let others know how they handle the situation on accommodating me for the horrible stay. (But the lady that did housekeeping did a great job with keeping towels and clean sheets on bed Thank you so much!! Ps you shouldn't have a broken ironing board in rooms .

The rooms were nice and clean and big but dated. The common areas all smell strange. Like dirty carpet soaked with cigarettes.

The hotel looks low quality & cheap.Only the towers are bigger no good quality inside hotel.

Orbitz did not make it clear that we were booking the Manor Lodge...all the description said was run of the house...very disceptive and disappointing

The check in process was very easy, however Sophia made it even exceptional, she was friendly and courteous.

Didn’t stay in room much, but you would think they would at least offer breakfast

It’s was stanking in the hotel; we had go get air freshener!!! Then water didn’t get hot!!!! Also we seen a big bug in the restaurant!!

I walked like 1/4 of mile at around 2:00 a.m. to go to the building where my room was. I tried to open the door using my card key. It didn't work. Then a family of 5 members came and told me that that was their room,. So, they tried their key and it worked. I went back to the registration desk (another 1/4 of mile) to tell the staff to give me a different room. Went back to the same building but different room this time. The key worked. It was like 3:00 a.m.

Circus Circus is making money. I don’t understand why they can’t upgrade the hotel. A dirty sock was left in my room. In the middle of the floor. Not sure how housekeeping missed it. We own a cleaning business so I asked housekeeping for cleaning supplies and cleaned my own room. We booked for 7 days. Trash was on the elevator floor. No microwave, which is crazy! We were told it’s a fire hazard. Smdh! But we won money at Circus Circus, table minimum start at $5 on most days.

You will get what you pay for with this hotel. This hotel is geared around families so expect ALOT of kids running around. When we arrived (after checking) they were still cleaning our room. One night the vacuum next door turned on at 5:30am. Then a staff member knocked on our door at 6am asking us if we needed any towels or anything!! I said “really” it’s 5:30-6:00 in the mornin, people are still sleeping and you guys are cleaning. The staff member told me they normally clean when ever it is possible!! So expect that. I mean the check in counter and cleaning crew, the entire staff was great, no complaints there really. But don’t walk in expecting a four star hotel. The hotel has been there since the beginning of the mob era, so it needs some major, major updating!! Plus you still pay a high hotel tax fee when you book the combo through orbit. I should have booked it all seperate, would have come out cheaper!!

hotel did not honor my reservation because my I D had expired so ni had to pay full price for the same room under my guests name and I D and didnt get a refund . payed $80 cash.

I usually stay at the main tower, but surprisingly the Manor was great!!!!

I thought we were staying in a big name hotel on the Las Vegas strip. When we arrived we were put in a three story motel 6 out behind the high rise building that was across the street. The place was crawling with people delivering girls to rooms and the entry door may have had a lock on it but it didn’t work Then one night we returned late and the room had not been cleaned all day. No one cared

I will not be staying here again. The clown everywhere is creepy. The staff has poor service and the hotel stinks like bootyhole. The only good thing was the beds.

I paid for an upgrade on my room, which was just disgusting! The bathtub would clog up while showering, the sink would clog and the room just felt dirty. I'm scared to imagine what the other room looked like that I upgraded from.

For a low-budget, family friendly option in Las Vegas this is a good option. However, it does have it's drawbacks. Distance from main strip or downtown requires a lot of walking or a means of transportation. Hotel/Casino is very large, so getting around, especially if staying in the Manor, requires a lot of walking just within hotel. Manor is very old, minimally clean, and not in the best shape. Other rooms may be in better shape. Definitely better places to stay in Las Vegas, but if simply looking for a place to sleep, you could do worse than staying at Circus Circus.
