MGM Grand Hotel & Casino

Not a gambler, so I wouldn’t know how to rate that part of the casino but nice place convenient location, clean and friendly staff. If your a golfer, there is a very fun venue within an easy walking distance called Topgolf. MGM’s “Mlife” card doesn’t come with much info at all, so ask for your rewards.

To start with check in was a nightmare for most. Luckily we were able to check in hours early, which still resulted in a hefty line to wait in. After upgrading my room, we checked it it, all seemed pretty nice. Until it was time to shower. NO HOT WATER!! After waiting hours for an engineer to check it out, we were told that it’s a common problem at MgM and we had to let the water run in both tubs for 30 minutes before the hot water would reach us ( an issue the engineer states the fry desk could have warned us about) so we virtually lost half a day waiting for that. Being that we only had two days at this resort, that was a HUGE BLOW TO OUR VACATION.

Our room was great! Amenities at hotel are also excellent!

Vegas is a busy place but the staff at this hotel took time to make our stay a special one.... exceeding our expectations!

Room smelled like feet. Reported to front desk and they sent a housekeeper up with spray. The spray didn’t cover the smell. Otherwise the hotel itself and stuff to do there was amazing.

Always enjoy staying at the MGM grand, close to the strip and great hotel amenities!

My flight was delayed and couldn't check in the hotel on time. I called ahead just to make sure my room was not taken and telling them I'll be late. Even though eventually my room got taken due to the fact I was over an hour late to check in. Rico, the guy at the lobby desk, helped me out and upgrade my room. Extremely happy with my stay with them.

Avoid booking rooms on Orbits described as West Wing King. It appears to be the "Ghetto " part of hotel. Obviously very old with long dark hallways. I was a woman traveling alone and was at the end of a hall on the 1st floor. Noises from deliveries or whatever outside the window at all hours. By far the worse room ive ever had in Vegas. Usually i am very happy with the rooms I get thru Orbits so I guess I had to much confidence in the site, I will be more careful or book directly next time....

It's a good hotel. The only thing I didn't like is how far the amenities were for access. Also, housekeeping should be careful to clean all parts of room and replace toiletries. Other than that it was a good stay.

Maybe this is what you end up with when you get a package deal through Orbitz, but I've stayed at the MGM before and my room was so much nicer. To start with, the only window was very tiny and above the bed, so the whole room was dark and dingy. Really obnoxious mirrored closets that the door wouldn't stay open. The bathroom setup was horrible. If housecleaning happened to open the door when you were getting out of the shower, they'd see you in all your glory. The sink was this weird green glass and very tiny. The whole hallway reeked of marijuana. But my favorite part was the half-eaten cheesecake that was sitting on a plate in the hallway literally the entire weekend, but either a mouse or a human ate some of it by Sunday, because it was a half piece of cake, but by Sunday, it was a tiny blob. In a nutshell, DO NOT STAY IN THE WEST WING!!!!!!!!!

Hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and the area. Rooms very comfortable but I missed my "in room coffee" each morning, no coffee makers in the rooms.

Reserved a west wing room but the checking-in staff sold me the idea to upgrade. So i agreed to pay about $100 more for a twin bed room. Yes it's larger but i don't think it's worth $100 more. The room is clean but has limited views. The overall set up is not worth close to $300 a night. MGM is showing its age...

Hotel is dirty gross and i was injured do to poor maitnence promised a refund i have stiĺl not seen not to sue but now i plan on it keep ur refund

I love everything at the hotel everyone One was nice...I just love it I will be staying again...

Hotel relocated us from outdated room because shower floor was pealing away. Experience slightly better when moved to new room. Stay away from"west wing".

It was nice. Great experience. Can't wait to come back

It was ok expected more, rooms were not appealing. I think because we stayed on the older side east wing.

The first room they gave us was awful. We had to pay to upgrade and pay for the resort fee. So total about a $400 charge. Just an awful experience. Do not stay here!

Bought an expensive meal in the building (all of the restaurants are pricey), but there is no refrigerator in the room. All of our leftovers went to waste. Somewhat disappointing. Otherwise was a nice visit.

Enjoyed the room. Had to walk a 1/2 football field to room. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. next time ask for room near elevators

Above the shower The tiny and very ugly sink The very tiny window AND the cheesecake. This is Day 3
