HIDDEN FEES,LARGE ROACHES IN THE ROOM.NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTROL HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER.HAD TO BE RELOCATED BECAUSE OF ROACHES IN THE FIRST ROOM.SECOND ROOM THE A/C WOULD NOT STAY ON AND ROOM WAS NOISY.WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN.

Easy check-in

My first room on the second floor was absolutely tiny. It was so loud with constant base I was unable to sleep at all. I upgraded the next three nights and when I went to check into my room someone was sleeping in the room illegally. Staff was very helpful with the situation and the second room was significantly better. However, based on the unfortunate instance, I was told I had a $25 food and beverage credit which did not actually happen and I was given nothing else for my trouble and inconvenience. I like the location but not sure I will stay again.

the bed was clean and comfortable. Perfect location and the price was good.

I live the uniqueness of this property, always choose the Golden Gate because of the history. Love that the amenities include those and The D and Circa.

The history behind the hotel is what i liked

Tv didn’t work. Bathroom door was damaged and wouldn’t close properly. Had to stand in the shower to close it. Room was tiny. Closet is unusable.

Absolutely loves the location. Right on the Fremont experience. Staff was great, casino was ok, we had a great stay.

Good place

I liked the price. The room is so incredibly small. When I booked on orbitz- the room photos were definitely NOT even comparable to the room I was given. Out the windows is a concert stage that performs very late and the room shakes. Do not disturb sign was hanging on door- and housekeeping came knocking at 8am. Then OPENED THE DOOR- and saw all of my husband in the shower. Then there is the shower itself- to small a bigger person (he’s over 6 ft tall) couldn’t move to actually get clean and the water temperature was unstable.

The speakers were blaring right outside my window until 3:00 in the morning

Loved the amenities offered by circa! Six pools and huge tv! Room was outdated but clean. Staff was super friendly! Only major complaint was we were double charged for room but they did refund after a few days.

It was okay and it was cool to be off the Fremont experience but the room is sooo loud and tiny on top of they don’t tell you they don’t have AC which was weird. The room is suuuupppeerrr tiny. You can’t open the door to the bathroom without hitting the toilet. It was okay nothing special

this is the Oldest Hotel in Vegas-- the Front Desk is Classic, GoGoDancers dancing above BlackJack Dealers, people Winning at The Tables and Slots-- I saw HUGE JACKPOTS won at Slots in Vegas-- Golden Gate Rules-- they Treat You like An Adult in Vegas which is rare these days since The Strip is For Kids- Downtown is For Adults:-)
