Stayed for Life is Beautiful. Location was very convenient for the concert. Bartenders were all very nice too

Hotel was great enjoyed the senior folks from Hawaii. Food was reasonable and good, loved the morning buffet. Real close to the Fremont experience without the extra charges. Parking was great as well with no charge for guests.

Room was very nice, spacious and comfy. Nice bathroom. Giant TV. Valet parking free for guests. You have to pay for in-room WIFI but there's no resort fee so still much cheaper than other hotels where you have to pay a resort fee.

The hotel staff were very helpful and very courteous.

Room had an odd smell to it. Friends staying in a room on the same floor had the same.

Best time ever!Aloha Spirit.Clean renovated rooms and awesome staff.

The room was clean and safe. It was quiet in the hallway. You can play Keno on the TV in the comfort of your room. Hotel parking lot is very close by. The walk over the bridge (indoor) to the buffet was nice and the Buffet for dinner was not too expensive. The Fremont street was interesting, filled with shops and street performers. You really felt that you were in a hotel.

I 've been reserved a room with one king bed and the moment of checking they say that only rooms with two beds.

Overall it was a great experience. The only thing that would have been great is a coffee maker in the room. However that would not prevent me from staying there again. Great staff, great room and overall great experience.

It is a cozy older hotel. Much loved. Great buffet for breakfast or dinner. The down side was just the bathroom area. Chunks of mold literally ...around the tub, and worse around the tub drain...which didn't drain. Also, no fan in the toilet tub area, ugh. The room was otherwise super clean and beds and bedding very comfy.

First all upon check in, I stood first in line with nobody at the counter and without any acknowledgement from the two staff members behind the counter for 5 minutes. When they called me to the counter and was about to give me my room (I booked 2) they told me I would have one room in one tower and the other in another tower. I told them that wouldn't work. I requested adjoining rooms as I had brought my Mom with me who needed help and that's who the other room was for. The girl kept saying there's nothing I can do. Then the other girl calls out, "what do they want"? So then she was able to get us on the same floor next door to each other. I called for a working hair dryer at 7:00am the next morning so that we could get ready to be on our way. It never came so I needed up going to my Moms room to use hers. We were gone the entire day till 5:00 and when we got back our room hadn't been cleaned or made up. We had no frech towels to shower. I called the Director who gave me a load of excuses and said he would have someone come up right after we hung up. 30 minutes later they finally showed up. We had a birthday dinner to attend so I had to borrow towels from my Moms room next door who's room was made up earlier that day. The next day we were gone all day till 4:30 or so and mug to my surprise when I got back to the room to shower and freshen up our room was not made up again. i will never stay here again!!

Seems lots of money was spent renovating the hotel casino but they missed an important feature/air quality...so much cigarette smoke. This is not a healthy environment for healthy people or people with respiratory ailments.

Overall very happy with stay. Would come stay again.

upon arrival, requested non smoking room, wait in lobby was 1 hour in smoked filled area, overall nice, not happy with the $9.99 daily wifi internet charges, many other hotels offer it for free...not happy with $10 per day F&B credit, only used it on the last day and lost the rest of credit...

Everywhere smells like smoke. This hotel is for old fashioned people and not so much for young people. We had difficulty with a machine and Sumiko was very rude. We told her what happened and she had no sympathy for our situation and she blamed it on us. It was our first experience gambling and we will never ever return to the California hotel! We had a much better stay at the stratosphere. It's only a little more expensive, but the experience is so much better!

Really loved the Noodles restaurant. Reasonable process. Free drinks if gambling.

The rooms are clean but old and not to much comfortable. It is nice because it is close to the old downtown and you can visit it and walk on the street. The casino is nice.

Received promotional rate of $40 per night plus $10 meal credit a day so I can't complain. toilet water leaked so hotel engeneering came to fix it. Bathtub had molded sealant here and there perhaps that can be fixed with some touch up.

Being from Hawaii, I enjoy the hawaiian restaurants and the hawaiian food items on the menu at the other restaurants.

Nice large quiet room with large desk area. Double sinks in bathroom.
