Good hotel that I normally stay at and the staff is usually, however, the front desk staff was not very friendly and/or helpful when interacting with them. I will need to rethink staying there again.

The only reason we are giving 4 stars is that California Hotel Staff were kind enough to find us rooms at the Main Street Station across the street when they overbooked their rooms due to the MGM Hotels system-hack on The Strip in Sept. 2023. Their restaurants should have been open 24/7, but closed at 8pm for cleaning leaving us nowhere to eat at either property after our late arrival driving from Utah. The rooms at Main Street station were all refurbished and well appointed. We’ll try the California at a later date.
AC broken and loud.
Room smelt like smoke and AC was super loud and ready to break. Temp only went to 68.

over the last 3 years the pool has been closed more than open due to a leak in the pool. you still pay full price for the resort fee.no discount for the pool not being open. we do not use the parking and wi fi and the pool is closed. what am i paying for,
As far as uniqueness the reason we booked here is the Hawaiian atmosphere.
Hotel is right off Fremont street for convenient access. The TV in the room wasn't working and the pool was closed but otherwise the hotel was in good shape and as expected
