I fly to GVR every November from Atlanta with my Mom for her birthday. This year was for her 83rd birthday. I accepted an upgrade offer for a suite for our three night stay. The hotel was beautiful as usual, and the room was nice with a great pool view. The problem was that the heat did not work for two nights when the temperature went down into the 40's. Also the window had an inch or so gap which allows a draft of outside air to circulate into the room. There were workmen in our room from midnight until 1 in the morning during the first night. Repairmen came back the next morning, and again for a third time the evening of our second day. Fortunately we packed extra blankets for the trip and were able to stay warm. They were able to get the heat functional for our last day/night of our stay. This should not happen in a resort hotel of this caliber. After complaining to the front desk, we were offered a $20 food credit to compensate us for the two days of inconvenience. I found that offer insulting. The manager then offered to give us a free upgrade on our next stay. I was told that it would take a month or two for the manager to send an email for my records. I was still disappointed, especially after paying extra for an upgrade which turned out to be a major inconvenience.

Is not is Las Vegas blv but is a new place clean nice

Wonderful staff very helpful And the room was very clean

Staff makes you feel at home. Great facility. Room was clean and quiet. The crew that opens the door, welcomes you back, parks your car, are the best. First impressions are important and they do a great job. Saw "The Tenors" perform-was great! Enjoyed our stay. Will be back next year.

When I went to check out I felt like the desk representative was trying to keep me busy as to not to look at my charges… She did a great job I must say. Upon returning home I see there's a $33 for an Internet charge that through a website where I booked my hotel it's stated it was free. The $33 is what it is… Not worth my time to pick up the phone to call and dispute however shady on your part.

I chose this hotel based on the first photo of the amazing pool. But found out that it is only open from 9am to 5pm, so if you are traveling for work and cannot swim during work hours, you have zero access to the pool . . . but, you will still get charged a "resort fee".

We only stayed one night. Received a great rate! The pool area was beautiful as well as the rest of the resort! My only complaint would be that the tile in the bathroom should be steam cleaned, as the grout was very dirty.

very nice spacious room. away from maddening crowd yet only 15 minutes to vegas strip

nice to be away from the strip. less crowded and nicer than any of the big names on the strip for substantially less. free valet parking so welcome too. pools are first rates

The hotel is fabulous! I didnt give It a 5 because of all the confusion with my reservations. We could not get the four nights at time of reservation so we went to orbit for the other two nights. They double charged the nights we had paid in advance visited the front desk several times because of being locked out of room because the reservations were not linked as we requested. Lots of confusion, At this point waiting on the over charges to be reapplied to cards.

My wife and I stayed here expecting it to be good since its in a nice area... well we were put in the east towers in a room with two queen beds because they were sold out of kings... the first room had ants!t they were in the bathroom , in the shower , on the tables. You would think they would try and make our experience better after that... nope switch to another room that had hair in the shower still. I am pretty disappointed that they lack costumer service in making the experience better.

The charges can be little more transparent. What is told is not total charges. Claim of access to something is ridiculous unless the facility can be used for which there is separate charge.

A family friendly hotel near Vegas. It was a hot week so the AC didn't work very well in our room. Besides that it is always a nice Hotel.

We come to Vegas a lot and finally decided to stay here . We had a bumpy check in but was then well taken care of by the manager . My husband proposed to me up in our beautiful suite with a gorgeous view . Simple and perfect . Absolutely loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend everyone coming back if you are looking for an oasis and don't mind the 20 minute drive to the strip . Only down was the iron in the suite didn't work .

The only "complaint" I have about the resort, was the servers at the pool were extremely slow with their service. It wasn't overly busy the morning I was at the pool, and it took about 45 minutes to be acknowledged. By the end of the day.. it took almost half hour or more to receive my change from my bill. Other than that, the place was absolutely amazing!

Loved the GVR Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome--thank you friends. Class all the way.

Very pleasant surroundings, elegant interiors and inviting pool area. Nice variety of "food" options.

Took our teenage daughters for fun in the sun for spring break. Didn't want the Vegas Strip experience, so booked here. Great room, pool, food, shopping and they even have their own movie theater!!! We will be back soon!

When visiting Las Vegas, this is the perfect hotel to stay at with small kids

Hotel staff was great. When I got to the room bathroom floor was covered in water I advised front desk staff they sent someone up to fix the shower head that was leaking. Came to room later on and used the shower same issue occurred so all night I could hear the shower leaking. There was an issue with the a/c unit in the middle of the night it made a very loud squeaking noise for hours then finally stopped around 430am I didn't bother calling the front staff due to being dead tired but needless to say I got no sleep there I only stayed one night or I would of probabaly had a screaming fest with management. I wouldn't stay there again customer service was good hotel needs a makeover
