My wife and I stayed here expecting it to be good since its in a nice area... well we were put in the east towers in a room with two queen beds because they were sold out of kings... the first room had ants!t they were in the bathroom , in the shower , on the tables. You would think they would try and make our experience better after that... nope switch to another room that had hair in the shower still. I am pretty disappointed that they lack costumer service in making the experience better.

The charges can be little more transparent. What is told is not total charges. Claim of access to something is ridiculous unless the facility can be used for which there is separate charge.

A family friendly hotel near Vegas. It was a hot week so the AC didn't work very well in our room. Besides that it is always a nice Hotel.

We come to Vegas a lot and finally decided to stay here . We had a bumpy check in but was then well taken care of by the manager . My husband proposed to me up in our beautiful suite with a gorgeous view . Simple and perfect . Absolutely loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend everyone coming back if you are looking for an oasis and don't mind the 20 minute drive to the strip . Only down was the iron in the suite didn't work .

The only "complaint" I have about the resort, was the servers at the pool were extremely slow with their service. It wasn't overly busy the morning I was at the pool, and it took about 45 minutes to be acknowledged. By the end of the day.. it took almost half hour or more to receive my change from my bill. Other than that, the place was absolutely amazing!

Loved the GVR Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome--thank you friends. Class all the way.

Very pleasant surroundings, elegant interiors and inviting pool area. Nice variety of "food" options.

Took our teenage daughters for fun in the sun for spring break. Didn't want the Vegas Strip experience, so booked here. Great room, pool, food, shopping and they even have their own movie theater!!! We will be back soon!

When visiting Las Vegas, this is the perfect hotel to stay at with small kids

Hotel staff was great. When I got to the room bathroom floor was covered in water I advised front desk staff they sent someone up to fix the shower head that was leaking. Came to room later on and used the shower same issue occurred so all night I could hear the shower leaking. There was an issue with the a/c unit in the middle of the night it made a very loud squeaking noise for hours then finally stopped around 430am I didn't bother calling the front staff due to being dead tired but needless to say I got no sleep there I only stayed one night or I would of probabaly had a screaming fest with management. I wouldn't stay there again customer service was good hotel needs a makeover

off strip hotel and 10min drive good experience will come back again

Dated rooms. The hotel was not full, yet we were only offered rooms that had half windows and looked at air-conditioning ducts. We had two adults and two children in our room. Only two towels were offered and it took about four hours to get a second set of towels. The casino floor and restaurants smell like cigarette smoke ( Caesars Palace in the 70s).

I go to Vegas for a different reason than most folks. My son, his wife and my grandchildren live there and this weekend we celebrated my daughter-in-law's graduation from UNLV. All of her family and I stayed at your resort hotel. We had a wonderful time!

Stayed during Thanksgiving week. Staff are very attentive, great srrvice. On site casino is very large, grest sports book too. Was too cold for swimming (but is heated) but pool area is vrry nice. Strip is about 20 minute drive, for the vast entertainment it offers. But after the crowds there, you will be so glad to rreturn to the GVR.

Close enough to the chaos, but relaxing in the same trip...The bartenders and coffee barista could use a smile. Just saying...

My only complaint was mold in the shower! The smell was horrible.

I've stayed at many resorts this one caught me off guard. One word - Luxurious! enough said.

This is not a family friendly hotel. The gym would not allow my teenage sons to use the facilities. The pool closes at 7:00 pm. Many of the promotions and coupons had "catches" to them, and we felt that we were being nickle and dimed at every turn. The price of certain items such as the cabanas were not clear and we were told numerous different rates by different hotel associates. We never felt that our business was appreciated, and we constantly felt that the hotel was just trying to milk more money from us at every turn. This was a very disappointing stay. We travel a lot and I can say this is the first time I was thoroughly disappointed by a resort such as this. The property is clean and well kept and is very stunning when you drive up to it and walk around, but the cost is not worth what you get for your money. I felt that I should have just booked a hotel on the Strip in Las Vegas and would have received more for my money. As example of the integrity issues we felt were not there, was the Monday Mama Pizza Rock promotion. They advertise that Moms eat free. We went with a party of 7 people with 2 moms, thinking we would pay for 5 meals and get the 2 free as advertised. At the end of the meal, we were told they only allow 1 meal per table. This is not in the small print and they acknowledge it is not in the advertising, but this is what they offer. It just felt very misleading as did most things at this hotel. I would not send my friends or family to this resort.

I get there and the lobby was closed, took me 30 min to fine temporary lobby, The room was on the other side of casino, the shower in the room had a colged drain and water would spill into bathroom.

Over all good. But had a guy try get in my room when I was sleeping. I believe it was a staff person it was the last day of my stay.
