The room & check-in were the usual, no complaints. Love having a mini-fridge u can actually use. However, other things fells short. Went to go to the pool, it was closed. Sign said to go to Paris pool but part of the reason I booked Horseshoe was the simplicity and privacy of the pool. Tuesday I wanted to go for a steak in the steakhouse, it was closed. Which led me to go somewhere else for dinner to which I got sick from. Stuff happens, that’s life. I needed some 7-up or Sprite for an upset stomach so I go to the vending machine on the 24th level, scan my card, push the Starry button, and I spit out an Aquafina. Only $3, I’ll just click the other button, mistakes happen. Clicked it, got another water. All the little things just added up. Funny how the use of the pool can stop but resort fees never do

a lot of upgraded or renovated stuff but it's unfinished. for instance in the bathroom the cabinet under the sink looks like it's been thrown down a cement stairwell about 100 times. should be repainted - especially when the rest of the bathroom looks great. price gouging also out of control. 11.99 atm fee. a cinnamon roll, apple fritter and regular coffee was 27.99. just wow

Location is excellent. We like the pool but was unable to use the last 3 times we have stayed there due to it being closed Monday/-Thursday , The website said the pool opened May 1 when I booked, then changed to May 9. Didn’t see anything about only weekends. I don’t know why you pay a resort fee. I don’t use their WiFi, gym, or now the pool. Have to go to another resort for a pool, Paris pool is hard to find chairs. The water machine was empty. Won’t give you ice, unless you buy something , Water on the machine is warm if you can get it. Can’t bring in your own cup with ice water in it. Do not try to accommodate the guests.

The room was disgusting! Dirt, "protein" stains, hair on the sheets -- clearly neglected. I stayed the 1st night as I arrived later in the day, but I left the next day, 3 days early. The management was very accommodating, apologized for the room having not been cleaned properly, and said that they'd refund or offer a 3-night credit, since I had stayed the 1st night. Again, they were very nice about it all, and clearly embarrassed. However, I STILL have not received anything. If you're reading this Horseshoe, please contact me.

Good place to stay and relatively inexpensive compared to other hotels on the strip, however they will charge a $50 per day "resort fee" which is supposedly for wifi and other amenities. Don't know if all hotels charge this or if this is unique to hotels owned by Caesar's (which seems to own about half the hotels).

What a disaster. 1 person working the front desk, used the check-in kiosk. Neither room keys worked. Security to let us in, 3 trips to the front desk getting keys. It’s an older hotel, but the room was disgusting around the edge of the bed and the room corners had dust bunnies the size of rats. Paid $57 per night resort fee. The swimming pool was closed, $20 extra to park a car, weight room a joke, internet for 2 devices only and a phone for local calls. So, $57, to connect 2 devices to the internet. The players club card kiosk would not work. In the morning tried to get coffee and muffin. Come to find out that although there are 8 elevators, only 2 were in use. Because check-out time is between 10-12, there were about 20 people waiting with bags to go down and check out but every elevator that stopped was already full. People waited 30 minutes trying to get on. After 20 minutes I gave up. Security showed up and took people down the service elevator. Do not plan on using the elevators between 10-12 and 4-6 for check in. At 2 hotel shops we were told we had to use credit cards because they had no change to give out. After checking out we played a few slots, and my brother went out for a walk and returned with 2 beers. We went to the sports book bar which was half empty. After sitting down, an employee told us we could not sit there because we didn’t purchase the beer from their bar. Customer Service 15-minute phone conversation I was basically told to go pound sand.
