I originally booked a tower room w/ king bed only to be told @ check-in that the only room available is a handicapped room on 2nd floor. There is absolutely no view of the strip whatsoever & we were forced to look out on a concrete wall that is 10ft outside our window. What a terrible start to our anniversary vacation. I was told by the check-in clerk that I could inquire the following morning @ 11:30am about a room on a higher floor. I waited until then @ then rudely told that it's too early & I need to wait until 3pm. At that time I was rudely told that no other rooms are available. This hassle caused me to miss a good portion of my first day in Vegas. The whole hotel smells like a combination of cigarette smoke & nasty air freshener used to cover up the smoke smell. It's a deadly combo for your nose. And this musty smell isn't contained to the casino floor... it follows you everywhere. Hotel halls, food court, etc. Nauseating & very off-putting. Every entrance is littered with workers who hound you to purchase 'deals' on dinners & shows. Thought they were hotel employees, but they're not. They don't take a simple 'no thanks' for an answer. They are insistent & rude & very irritating. I expect people like this out on the sidewalks of the strip, but not inside your own hotel that you are paying good money for. Don't make the same mistake we did... spend a couple extra bucks and upgrade to a nicer hotel. You'll be glad you did.

Convenient and cost effective The hotel has an out dated look. But the room was nice and I enjoyed my stay

I love the Excalibur every time I stay here! It never disappoints. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The customer service is very friendly and willing to help.

Didn't know about the resort fee. Took money away from our fun. Will not ever stay there again

Bathroom shower and sink was disgusting. Weird stains everywhere. Room looks dusty and old. Only thing that’s good is it was a bigger room. But it was gross. Casino was gross. Decent location on the strip but overall it was disgusting would never stay here again.

The Wifi in the hotel is terrible. The pillows were very uncomfortable and the rooms and hotel have an overall old feel. Could be why it's so much cheaper than other strip hotels.

Excellent service, rooms are very spacious and clean.

If it hadn't been for the police and their hysterical reaction to the shooting it would have been an enjoyable experience. As it was, they shut down all traffic in any direction in the area. That created traffic jams. None of this was the fault of Excaliber Hotel and Casino. Their service and facility were above average.

Good room, with an excellent bed. Close to activities on south end of strip. The online checkout did not work, which led to and additional 25 minute stay in the reservation line to check out. Check out personnel had no sense of urgency, chatting with each other rather than helping people in line.

This hotel is a great value except the Added Resort fee per day and $10.00 per day for parking negate the good price.

Hotel ok, many areas under construction. Casino Dirty.

Worst experience ever. Stayed 4 nights at Excalibur for attending the SSW convention. Everytime I woke up with more and more red inflamed bumps on my arms, neck, ankles. Couldn't even fall into sleep every night cause it was too itchy! Nighmares... Especially those bumps on my face totally ruined my mood and trip. Tried to talk to the registration desk but the waiting lane was too long, and I was too busy with the convention. I also tried to move to another bed in my double queen-beds room, but ended up with a lot more bug bites?!! yes, I'm pretty sure those red bumps were caused by bugs in the room!!! If you were me you will know why. Finally told the registration desk about the bugs at the last day checking out, and asked how are they gonna compensate me for my suffering. They didn't answer my question directly but sent me to the security desk, since I was in a hurry to the airport, they just took some photos of the bug bites, had me filling a short report, and gave me an oral apology, that's it. Don't think they will contact me or compensate me, cause as long as they check the room, they will know there are a mass of bugs on the beds!! No need to take more than 1 day! Also read some complaints about how this hotel treat consumers suffered from bed bugs, feels nothing but more disappointed. This hotel needs to learn how to take responsibilities and care about their customers! Will tell friends to stay away from this hotel for Gods sake.

Perfect location and perfect price. Staff was friendly, room was clean and nicely done. Checkout was super easy too.

it's located at the beginning of Las Vegas Blvd. we can just start wandering from the beginning to end of the blvd good and friendly staff.

The hotel was great. The rooms were clean and pleasant. Only problem we had was when we walked in the door a lady that looked like staff said she would help us check in, then told us they were offering free lunch and cheap tickets if we went to another hotel to just check it out. Turned out she signed us up for a 120min time share meeting! She never once said that's what was happening, and she looked like staff this was very misleading. We later discovered they are in all the hotels and bug you on your way in and out. Lesson learned though for the first time in vegas. Other then that we had a great time.

Have stayed at Excalibur 8 or 9 times and never really had any problems. we always use the adult pool. I don,t like it when I see some people sneaking in the rear gate and not paying the $10 that we always pay. There should be some system to remedy this problem, like Che king wrist bands every 30 minutes or so. very annoying to the folks who do pay.

It was very clean and roomy. The staff was very courtious and helpful. I don't like minimums on reviews

The bed was really uncomfortable, also "2 free buffets" = $45 credit which isn't free since 2 cost more then $50 (: math is hard...

Door to the room worked half the time, room was bare not even a coffee maker in the room. Every time you walked through the casino you were harassed and followed by time share people. The buffet was overpriced, the food was overcooked. We stayed there for nostalgia but we wont do it again.

Very clean, organized and comfortable room to stay in. It also had a great view of the strip too.
