Flights from St. Louis to Las Vegas are available for anyone who wants to roll the dice. Casinos and resorts are just a few of the top attractions in Vegas, and you might enjoy an outdoor adventure trip or a day at a relaxing spa. There's no need to bet on your domestic flight, though, because Orbitz.com offers low prices every day.
Flying to Las Vegas from St. Louis is easy, because Delta Air Lines, Alaska Airlines, US Airways, United Airlines, American Airlines, and AirTran Airways all handle flights to and from these locations. Flights depart from the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, which offers six parking lots for local travelers. The parking rates start at just $7 per day, and most lots offer free airport shuttles. If you don't drive, don't worry. Buses, taxis, the light rail, shuttles, and vans are also available.
The airport is home to a variety of restaurants, although you should get there early because some close as early as 5:00 pm. Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts provide steaming cups of coffee, donuts, and basic snacks, while Burger King and California Pizza Kitchen provide full meals quickly. There are many other restaurants at the airport, including Chili's, the Great American Bagel, Brioche Doree, Beers of the World, and Budweiser Stadium Club Bar & Grill.
Most travelers know Las Vegas by the nickname Sin City. The city's government launched new advertising campaigns that highlight a number of attractions for teenagers and smaller children. No matter who you travel with, you can find great things to do in the city.
The McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas makes it easy for travelers to get in and out of the city quickly. A shuttle can take travelers to the McCarran Rent-A-Car Center, which offers cars from some of the leading rental car companies. Taxis and group shuttles wait outside the airport, and group shuttles stop at some of the top hotels and resorts in the city. Depending on your budget, you might prefer a limousine rental or a city bus.
Located in the Mojave Desert, Las Vegas has hot and sweltering summers with high humidity. In July and August, the temperature can easily reach more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the middle of the day. Winter temperatures drop into the 50s, but you must compete with people traveling there for the holidays. It's better to plan your trip for the spring because you still see warm temperatures in the 70s and 80s, but you won't see as many tourists.
When many people think about Las Vegas, they think about the casinos and resorts. The Bellagio, MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, Tropicana, and The Venetian are among the best casinos in the city. The Richard Petty Driving Experience, the fountains at the Bellagio, and the Pinball Hall of Fame are a few of the other top attractions that you might like.
Now is the time to stop worrying about when you might go to Vegas. As long as you have access to the Internet, you can search for discount flights from St. Louis to Las Vegas on Orbitz.com. It can take as few as 10 minutes to find flights, hotel rooms, and tickets that fit your vacation budget.
