Good location, friendly stadd, incredibly small room, no closet to put anything in. If you bring a suitcase you have to jump over it to get into bed.

Nice hotel. Convenient location. Stayed for one night, staff was very nice.

Place is fine. Small rooms, $ is low. Found that he wifi was actually quite good, which was a big surprise.

We enjoyed are 2-day stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was located in a great location - near City Hall, QVC, and Hyde Park and a short bus ride to the Circular Quay (approximately a 20-minute walk). Recommend taking the 10:30 Walking Tour from Hyde Park.

Very nice hotel. Location is perfect: 10 minutes walking from all the major attractions: Opera House, Botanic garden, etc. Rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Price was very good, particularly considering how expensive Sydney can be, particularly during Christmas. Breakfast was quiet expensive and not included, but other than that my family and I really enjoyed this hotel.

Check in staff responsive and helpful. I was not happy with the room he gave us when we first got into the room. We went back to him and he quickly assigned us to another room.

I was not happy with this hotel. I felt like I was in a closet. rooms are too small. bathroom is ok, shower was great. but would not go bk to this hotel again

Our room was very small, but did have everything we needed. Location is very good for using public transportation, and felt safe.

The hotel is located at city center and easy to get to the most places around the city by walk, bus, train, and ferry. The condition of room is unremarkable. I will rate it as three and half stars. The door of room can not be bolted from inside. I asked to fix three times for the first three days but never got fixed. One morning 6AM, someone was knocking the door, we were uneasy in the room.

Upon arrival, which was several hours before check-in due to early morning cruise debarkation, I went directly to to hotel because I had luggage that needed to be held. I didn't think my room would be ready for me until check-in time of 3:00 p.m. However, within an hour of my arrival they were able to accommodate me - nice! My expectations are always reasonable but this exceeded them. The room was small but clean, as were the linens on the bed and towels in the bathroom. I don't spend much time in my room while on vacation because I am a tourist so my accommodations were great. The hotel is situated in a wonderful location the access of public transportation was great and everything I needed was within walking distance. Though not a 5-star hotel my accommodations were perfect and suited my needs. Thanks to the great staff, who were so accommodating and friendly!

We paid and reserved a delux room with a queen bed plus a twin bed. We arrived before 10 am and was told that they only have one delux room each floor and it is next to the lift. if we want a quiet room, we have to take a room in the next grade which is only one queen size bed without any refund of price difference. We had to stay in a very small room for 3 days. Other customers behind us got rooms to check in right away, but he would not give us a room before 2pm. We had to take a taxi back at 2pm to check in the room. We believe that the manager is practicing discrimination against us.

It's easy to get the hotel on foot from the train station and bus stop. There are lots of eating spots and must see places within walking distance though, it's quiet in the evening. If you are a first time visiter in Sydney, you must join free guide walking tour from the Town Hall.

Only a one night stop over befoe a cruise, very convenient, we were very comfortable. Wil luse again.

The hotel is very centrally located within walking distances to the Circular quay and the Darling Harbor. The hotel is not fancy but clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is small to US standard but consistent with European hotel room. For the price it is a good place to stay.

Had great three days! Everything of interest and good restaurants within walking distance. Staff very helpful.

When I emailed the hotel for info it was outstanding in getting info back. When we got there it was a very different matter. I was not able to get a good answer on getting a shuttle to the airport. When we got to the room we were so exhausted from the airport problems that all we wanted to rest. The room was very small. The bedding was not changed unless they were asked to do so. It was difficult to communicate at times with the staff. When I had a copy made of some travel info I had to ask to get part 2 of it. They did accept the lost luggage the following day and put it in the room, but I understand that is common practice.

Stayed here only the one night after returning from 2 weeek cruise. We were very ealy for check-in but were able to get us right into our room and let us stay until noon before checking out the next day. Also very close to Darling Harbor, China Town, etc. Room was on the small side but the air worked great.

The Metro has a great location just one block from the Town Hall, the Queen Victoria Building and the shopping complexes linked to it, and only minutes from the circular key and the Opera House. The rooms are small and awkward in design but are quiet and comfortable and the price is a bargain (the Hilton just across the street is three times higher per night).

I was there for 6 nights, traveling solo. I didn't spend much time in my room, I basically just slept and got ready there! The room is a little small (but still do-able) for two people, but perfect for one. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and very helpful. The air conditioning was great, the water pressure was good, and my unit came with a mini-refrigerator! The location was great, it's only a couple blocks away from major shopping areas and restaurants. The only thing that wasn't so great was that I could hear my neighbors talking next door (we shared a connecting door that was locked), but after putting on the A/C it diffused the sound, so it wasn't that bad. I'm a heavy sleeper, so it worked out okay. I'm not sure if the connecting door was specific to my unit though, it may not be an issue for other rooms in the hotel. They also let me check in really early (8am) and had my room ready to go. And I had a late night flight, so they held my luggage in their storage for the day after I checked out. I would definitely stay there again!
