I have stayed in the hotel more than 5 times and it never disappoints. Amazing view great staff and excellent location. It is just a short walk to some of the best attractions in Sydney, including the Rocks!

There is simply no better luxury hotel in Sydney, if not Australia. The combination of so many elements .... location, style, staff, food, rooms, amenities ... is not matched anywhere else. From the instant of arrival through check-in and to the chic and relaxed rooms, you feel like a welcomed guest and a instant member of the Park Hyatt Sydney 'family'. My favorite new element on this stay ... the in-room dining menu. A great excuse to wrap yourself up in this superb hotel and avoid the hassle of restaurant 'uncertainty'. The Park Hyatt Sydney is an example of superb leadershp and a knowing of what they are and where they are ... and the most important thing ... the guest is #1 and has a choice.

From the moment we drove in the staff were there to assist. Ever alert and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was a burden and they were professional and courteous at all times. The room was exceptional, with every convenience and appliance necessary for a stay. Immaculately clean and extremely comfortable and the black out curtains even managed to stop the sunrise from shining through even though we had an easterly facing room

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary last weekend and was absolutely blown away by the service, accommodation, view and food. Despite being in THE most amazing location, our room was a tranquil oasis of comfort and quiet. We wouldn't normally spend this much on accommodation, but it was worth every cent and we will be back!

One of my family decided to get married in Sydney but his own hotel wasn't suitable for a small wedding dinner so we shopped around and the Park Hyatt Dining Room became our choice. Because there were actually about 16 of us they in fact set us up in one of the boardrooms in the "Guest House" beside the main dining room with a window overlooking the dining room and through there to Campbells Cove, the Opera House and the harbor adjacent the Opera House. Beautiful view, beautiful setup. I have nothing but praise for the staff who coped with a group of diverse eating requests, constant drink service, and were nothing but polite, courteous, efficient, and professional throughout the evening (they had to pout up with us for about five hours, we enjoyed the experience so much). Even when the group was breaking up one of the staff fetched some drinks from the bar for us to save us a trip for a nightcap. I spent thirty years in hospitality and I know good service when I see it, and at the Park Hyatt we had nothing but good service, and for that I thank them and would not hesitate to recommend the establishment to any of my friends.

This hotel is a jewel in Sydney's crown. Wonderful location, luxury fit-out and usually wonderful service. I try to get there from Melbourne every couple of years. This time, I left frustrated. The Living Room cocktail lounge on the ground floor, despite its ambience and views, was let down by consistently poor service. On our first day, the cocktail ordered with a light meal did not arrive at all ("Oh, it's just ready for you", she replied as we got up to leave 30 minutes later at the end of our meal). On our fourth day, I ordered the (hitherto unseen) cocktail again. It arrived quickly but wasn't what I had ordered. It was taken away and the correct cocktail arrived in due course but it was clear that the glass containing it had merely been rinsed and then used again for the correct cocktail. It looked sloppy (water running down from the top edges), and also contained some of the flavours of the first abortive attempt and the diluting factor of the added water. Who thought this would be acceptable? The Living Room was the embodiment of "never mind the quality, feel the width". Resting on its laurels, to say the least. Elsewhere, the flowers we had ordered for our room were left wrapped up on the table and were rather droopy by the time we managed to get a vase; our television did not work at all on our first evening and required three visits, including one from the night manager mid-evening (who was dutifully apologetic and offered a bottle of wine, etc). Our attempt to get through in-room dining in the afternoon a toasted ham and pickle sandwich with butter added to the outside after it was toasted, turned into a farce as we went through three separate deliveries (we zwfinally gave up and ate the droopy sandwich that had been fried in butter in a pan). This was all a bit odd given that there is a toasted sandwich option in the children's menu. Bouquets? The evening chef on two nights delivered a delicious off-menu linguini carbonara. Our deluxe Opera House view room was at the eastern end and is worth asking for even though they are thin on the ground. The room was immaculately clean throughout and delightfully comfortable, an otherwise perfect setting for a languid few days' reading on the balconies.

Lovely stay once again, though didn't realise that some of the rooms are a lot smaller than others but they moved me once I asked. Cant say any more lovely hotel, lovely staff etc Handy for everything in Sydney

Hyatt “Globalist” member $1400 a night for this view and, despite having a 5 year old child with me, being given a room that is above the function room of the hotel with a noisy party currently taking place. Child can’t sleep, husband can’t sleep - I️ feel disappointed for wasting nearly $3000 Very disappointed indeed.

One of the best hotels I've ever visited, and I've been to many. From the location (and the view of the opera house) to the wonderful rooms to the incredibly attentive, friendly and welcoming staff, nothing disappoints. A special thank you to the Concierge team. A perfect stay.

Stayed here with my husband in November 2017. Love the hotel, the view and the staff. Everything and everyone was fantastic. You will definitely enjoy yourself here. The view of the opera house from here is unbelievable.
