Went down to Sydney for a cruise and spent 2 nights at the Park Hyatt. While quite expensive, it is a top hotel with regards to location, views and service. Our room was quite large and well appointed. No hesitation to recommend it.
Stayed two nights in this hotel. Had quite a rude check-in person. Choose hotel for its view, but my room looked out on a tree and a wall and was dark. Location is a bit away from any other activities.
We treated ourselves with a stay at the Park Hyatt on our holiday in Sydney. As a Hyatt Globalist, I've stayed at Hyatt Properties all around the world, including several Park Hyatt and Andaz hotels. The Park Hyatt Sydney is at the top of the list. It meets all expectations in terms of luxury and accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and approachable the staff was. We felt relaxed and at home.
I am staying at this hotel during my honeymoon and having great time. As a Hyatt globalist, I stayed at many of hyatt properties including several park hyatt hotels around the world. I would say this hotel is the best. With the wonderful view of opera house, all staffs have warm smiles and provide good service. Especially, I would like to thank Titan. I spent several hours in the swimming pool. Starting from recognizing our honeymoon, he tried to make our time more memorable with glasses of champagne. Also, he gave us very useful tips about the city and tours. If I come to Sydney again, I would like to stay here again.
Our last hotel on our Australian trip - the room was clean but poorly laid out - you had to move furniture to see tv from bed... We had Opera House View Room but it was on the ground floor so you had pedestrians walking pass your windows non-stop so you had no privacy unless you closed your blinds and then you lose your view which is what you paid the high price for....
This hotel has views of the harbour, the opera house and cruise ship terminal. Sitting on Sydney harbour with the Rocks and Harbour Bridge behind. Service is - well great. Attentive without being intrusive. The board walk in front is a well worn tourist trail around the harbour. He hotel treads a difficult line. Being a modern hotel in the oldest part of the city amongst three of Sydney’s icons. More of Sydney’s architects should follow suit.
Outstanding hotel. The staff are fantastic, so professional and very friendly. The rooms are excellent. Location is perfect, the views your get from your balconies are amazing. And the roof top pool is the best.
Extremely professional team. Great location. Rooftop pool is a real bonus. Concierge incredibly helpful. Only downside is the mosquitos because you’re literally on the harbour - keep your balcony door closed and all will be fine. Wonderful breakfast buffet.
Amazing hotel with all the trimmings you expect for a 5 star hotel. Jusy wish it was at a more reasonable price point and we would return! Room was impeccable. Staff had fantastic manners and attention to detail. Breakfast was very tasty with lots of variety. Views were also great. Recommended for anyone happy to pay the exy cost!!
When I reserved the Park Hyatt for our brief stay in Sydney, I thought it was pretty expensive, but when we got there I was very pleased we decided to splurge. The location just can’t be beat. The service was rather formal, but friendly. Our suite was very well designed and we loved the balconies at night overlooking the harbor. Big hint, while you’re enjoying the views from the rooms at night, realize that from the other balconies and the harbor you can see everything that’s going on in the rooms. They have automatic screens for a reason. Just sayin.
