Park Hyatt Sydney5.0 out of 5.0

We had high expectations from Park Hyatt due to its reputation of being Sydney's most luxurious hotel but sadly we were disappointed. On checking in, the first sentence spoken by the staff checking us in was to offer us a room with views of the opera house at an additional $100 because we are on our honeymoon! Which five star resort asks their guests to upgrade their room for a charge because they are on honeymoon?! If they can't offer us a free upgrade, it is probably wise to say nothing! We politely declined her offer. Funny thing is that the room we had originally booked already had nice views of the opera house so this was quite confusing! On a positive note, the Concierge was very good and helpful. Breakfast was also decent, although the coffee didn't taste good. The beans were over roasted. Location is good and central, easy to access other parts of Sydney. The hotel has lovely views of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House but I'm not sure the views justify the luxurious reputation!
This hotel was outstanding, from point of entry, to the dining experience, accomodation and customer service. We cannot fault this hotel, it was our first visit and certainly not our last. Park Hyatt Sydney is definitely our hotel of choice from now on!
This hotel is worth the nightly rate!! The service is the best I had ever experience at an hotel around the world! I had high expectations for this hotel and immediately I was blown away from the moment I had arrived onto the property! Truly an excellent hotel and I recommend everyone to stay here while visiting Sydney!
My son took me on another vacation of a lifetime ! We visited Australia and our stay was at the Park Hyatt Sydney. It was a BEAUTIFUL hotel! The service was top notch. The food was amazing. I felt like a princess ! The view from our room was something I'd never dreamed I would experience! Absolutely stunning !
Stayed here for more fiance 30th birthday and to be honest it was absolutely amazing. We go the opera deluxe room which had an waterview to the opera house and I have to say, waking up to this during sunrise in the morning was pretty epic. The staff were so amazing and made this stay one to remember for my fiance. Thanks again Hyatt!!.
exceptional rooms with quality to match lead to the perfect weekend away. The staff were always on hand when required and able to tend to all requests immediately, nothing was ever a problem. Perfect place to enjoy Sydney Harbour from the comfort of your room.
This is the perfect place to stay in Sydney. The location can't be beat looking out on the iconic Sydney Opera house, under Harbor Bridge, nestled in the historic Rocks neighborhood filled with restaurants/shops, and a short walk to Circular Quay making transportation to other parts of Sydney simple. Add on top of that stellar service and a spa and restaurant and it meets all your needs. Enjoy daily High Tea looking out on Sydney Harbor.
This hotel is superb! The location and views cannot be beaten. From our room we had a spectacular view of the harbour and the Opera house. My 2yr old son and i spent ages sitting on the balcony watching the boats on the harbour, he was mesmerised. The rooms are fabulous - modern furnishings, spacious (that's an understatement the rooms are huge!), sparklingly clean with an enormous very comfortable bed. The crowning jewell of this hotel however is the service. The staff are friendly, accommodating and professional. It was the little things - giving my son a toy kangaroo (which he is obsessed with), the chocolates and flowers on arrival, fetching various items from our car wich we had forgotten, making dinner reservations for us without being asked...the list goes on. While this hotel is very expensive if you are looking to really treat yourself it is worth it.
My family visited the Park Hyatt for dinner last night for my Mums 70th birthday and we were not disappointed. The view is obviously amazing, they sat us at a fantastic table, the food delicious, however the best part for me was the service specifically from Claire who was so helpful and accommodating of all our requests and made our night incredibly special. We'll definitely be back for family celebrations. Thank you.
We stayed at the Park Hyatt three nights in September. You can't get a better view of the Sydney Opera House! The view of the harbour is spectacular. The hotel is centrally located and the staff was accommodating to our every need. They even packed my wife and I a morning breakfast to go as we had an earlier flight out before the breakfast room opened. The food at the restaurant is very good. They have a full breakfast buffet with hot and cold items and a menu you can order from as well. The rooms are very nice, clean, and have an amazing marble bathroom! Again, I can't overstate the view from the balcony of the Opera House! Great stay at a great hotel!
