Great location but the hotel is aged, smelly and musty. Staff tried to put us on 22nd floor that is not accessible by lift/elevator. I refused it because of my knee problem. They put us in a handicapped room because it was the only vacant unit. The bathroom door closes automatically but raps 3-4 times at the door stop making it so annoying. Worst is with 2 people in the room, the hotel provides 1 face towel, 1 soap, 1 shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. They keep doing this each day despite our complaining to the front desk. We requested for a better accommodation when we return from our cruise but the hotel simply ignored it and they tried to ou us again on the 22nd floor. I think the hotel is overpriced for what you get out of it.

Friendly hotel personnel, Good food and good facility. I advise that Internet usage be totally free.

the friendly staff helped me with an early checkin after a long flight. excellent location, well designed.

The hotel was in a great location for Circular Quay and Darling Harbor.

It's expensive but only worth it for its location you can save money bcuz it's close by to lot of attractions and places

Nice central locstion. Close to shopping, the tower and more. Very helpful front desk.

The Travelodge Wynyard Sydney is a very nice hotel. Large modern rooms. I didn't go there for dinner but the breakfast buffet has just about everything you can think of. The automatic pancake maker was IMHO a bit dodgy - be sure to put a plate underneath the "exit" on the side (it's not obvious for first time users). Location is great. Short walk to the Darling Harbour where you can catch tour buses and boats. Lots of restaurants, including a Hard Rock Cafe, right there too. Sydney Tower Eye is also a couple of streets away. Plenty of pricy shopping places there too.

The Travelodge Wynyard was located in the Rocks section of the city. The cruise terminal was 10 minutes by taxi or walking 15min. Walking in the opposite direction for 15 min put you in Darling Harbor. The hotel was an ideal central location. The only issue was upon check-out with 4 huge suitcases, we asked for someone to call a taxi and was informed to go to the curb and flag one down!!

The Hotel is in a good location for seeing the Central Business District. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant did not have any Vegan options and was unable to accommodate our diet so for lunch and dinner we ate at other restaurants. The room was on the smaller size.

The hotel is well located, close to public transportation. The room was pretty basic and reasonably comfortable. The hotel staff by and large were friendly, courteous and helpful. We arranged to have breakfast included in our reservation and were satisfied with the buffet offering. On our last day the hotel experienced a water problem which was fixed in the late afternoon however on the morning of our departure the problem seemed to recur and I was not able to take a shower prior to a 14 hour flight home!!

Location was the only thing above mediocre. Location is great! Hotel lobby was under renovation during our stay. Wi-fi was only available in lobby and only on request to front desk. Internet cafe in lobby was contracted out and difficult to use with much of the fee spent in attempts to access such sites as Yahoo.

Basic good value hotel. Great location. Short walk to the quay , shopping ,the rocks and train station.

Close to the Rocks which is our favorite place to shop and eat. Within walking distance of the BridgeClimb and Sydney Harbor and the Opera house. We loved the hotel location

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The position opposite Wynyard Station was fabulous and it's also a very easy walk (15 minutes) to the Opera House one way, and town the other. Coffee shops very close.

I had heard some poor reviews of the Travel Lodge, however I found everything to be perfectly fine and exceptional value for money.

Just walk across the road to get to the Wynyard train station!

Our room was clean and comfy. Location was great for anyone who loves a great city. Easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see or do.

This hotel is in a very good position in the heart of Sydney. The rooms are adequate, clean and well serviced.

booked an executive queen room ..advertised as overlooking park with queen bed ... given a double overlooking an alley full or garbage bins and rubbish ... checkin staff was rude and unhelpfull ... booked room with parking on arrival was told they have none and i would have to park 1 mile down the road at another garage all for $35 and walk back to hotel .. no apology no compensation nothing .. just a rude overtone that if i didnt like it too bad ... there service is non-existant to say the least .. the room itself was so small and the bed was so hard you could hear the old springs in the mattress evrytime i moved to try and get comfortable ...last thing i was on level 4 and could hear the trains that run directly underneath the hotel through a tunnell especially the next morning around 6 to 7 am ... i wouldnt stay here again ever .
