We had a short but lovely stay at the Larmont Sydney. Immediately upon arriving, we were greeted by the friendly Rowan who took a lot of time to help us plan our time in Sydney. He recommended walking plans and restaurants that we took him up on. Anytime we spoke with him or his colleagues, they were eager to help with any questions we had. Even after we checked out, Rowan kept in touch and emailed us a fresh recommendation. They go above and beyond for their guests. The location was great and central. We were able to access many other neighborhoods by foot and public transportation. There are a bunch of good restaurants in the vicinity! The room was also quite lovely. We had a very comfortable sleep and enjoyed all of the decor choices. They also provide you with an in-room iPad loaded with information. Would definitely stay there again!

Room was very dirty, limited wiping of surfaces and vacuuming of carpet. Most off putting element from the overall ’chicish’ hotel, was the mould smell emanating from the bathroom. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival, smelling of mould, and the towel hooks were hanging off the walls. Maybe I was unlucky with the room I was given, but very average hotel. Location was good, but this doesn’t not make up for the overall experience.

This is a good local experience with a new look to the hotel internally. The room was average but cosy and pretty well organised. The upgrade was a bonus where I get a harbour view from the room. Last but not least, the services from the front desk was remarkable and very helpful throughout the stay. Love it!

Great service, great location, well priced, really enjoyed meeting the staff, experiencing the food and exploring the area. Very easy to get around Sydney from here via walking, public transport or taxi.

Highly recommend to stay 2nights at least here. It is very convenient to get train to the airport, and town hall as well. It costs about 3 minutes from Kings Across Station by walk. Kindness and helpfulness of the hotel staff will help you to have a good memories in Sydney.

I am stymied. This is a smallish, super clean, welll designed modern room. The bed is of slightly above average comfort. Desk staff young, educated, caring and personable. That said after 24 hours of air travel the building has some quirks. I believe I am hearing the elevator run constantly from inside my room. Not noticeable if I put the TV on. It was a very windy day after a very long flight. On the 4th floor either the building sways (which some do per an engineering article). Or I am super tired and dizzy. I have not decided. For group travel.it is acceptable. For folks traveling solo, their could be other options. Also in the bath in the middle of the night, i can hear the AC pipes or something. Most of my concerns are these subtle noises and are we swaying?

I've stayed here a few times as its close to Kings Cross station, only a stop away from my office and was recommended by my HR dept. The beds are incredible comfortable, great Wi-Fi and the staff are excellent.

Loved it here. Gym, food, rooms are great. Location outstanding. We got put on the top floor, which had a lot of noise from the elevators, so I'd request a lower room. But other than that - terrific. Roberta at the front counter was brilliant.

Room was spacious and clean, staff very friendlly and helpful. Laundry service was very poor, I truly hope the are going to change the suppliers because I had same issue on October 2017. Location is good, very close to the King Cross station, 5 min walking distance and in 10 min underground you are in the CBD.

It was a lovely place to stay great location wonderful staff view was good breakfast was nice the restaurant 169 was disappointing not much of a choice on the menu we had a voucher for the restaurant through the hotel as the Hyde restaurant attached to the hotel does not open for dinner . But overall it was good the staff were very obliging and informative
