We have been to this RIU Palace Peninsula 8 times in the past 12 years. Always exceptional service. Small enough for little kids to not get lost. Plenty of food options including gluten free at every meal.
I like how they have activities/events for both kids and adults. Staff are friendly and the place is clean.
Excelente hotel, muy limpio, mucha variedad de comida y diversión.
The location and cleanliness in common areas were good. However, my room had plumbing issues, outlet plugs needed replacement, room service was extremely slow and at the end of my stay unresponsive. Food quality was mediocre.
We really liked the team who organized different activities and the service overall. It was many food options, we tried all the restaurants, can't say we were really impressed but the food was good overall.
The food options were amazing they had so many different options and believe me I tried all of them. The staff was very attentive.
We had a great time at the Riu. My only complaint is that staff didn’t refill water in the bedroom. When we got to the room at night, we called, the guy at the reception asked me to go down and get it. When I refused, he was rude. However, we received our water bottles. The karaoke time was too short, and many people didn’t get to sing. Other than that we had a wonderful experience. Love this resort. This was our second time. Please don’t forget to tip all the wonderful people that works there.
Love the Riu! Amazing time Diego at the bar in the lobby is amazing, private beach is beautiful!
Hotel need a makeover, everything is old, people on front desk are rude And no costumers service at all. Don’t waist you time in this hotel
Nice please to enjoy the sun
The staff are all very friendly and accommodating.
Nice and clean facility.
We love staying in this property, very friendly staffs. They are treating you with respect. Very safe property even you go out to the each at 4am nothing to worry when you are in the property. I have so much fun with my family here at Riu. Thank you for making everything so convenience, clean, and very friendly place to stay.
My first complaint at this Riu are the rooms. They need a big Reno. My room had stains, toilet worked here and there . There was a tub in your room which I find exactly uncomfortable I had small kids with me and was worried they would slip and hurt themselves the bathroom area was opened to your room so if you had to brush your teeth and your kids were sleeping they would hear everything. The rooms looked so outdated it was all white and blank in a creepy way. Beds weren’t Queen size beds they were twin size. Shower water would flood, toilet made this horrible and I mean horrible nose when you flush!!! Otherwise hotel was nice and Property was good size easy to get around. Grounds were beautifully kept, staff were very fridendly, nice. And the food… BEST all inclusive food I have ever had! I’m not kidding. We usually don’t go on all inclusive resorts but WOW! all resturants and buffets were great! And drinks were amazing as well ! Beach and pools… beach on our side was small ocean was ok… we mostly went to caribe side of the beach. Pools were nice a bit small but infinite pool was my fave.
Excellent beaches and lots of pools. The adult only pool can only be accessed if you book a villa. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall the food was good. The Japanese restaurant was not up to par, the only meal that wasn’t good. The buffet was great, lots of options. Enjoyed the other restaurants. I will add it did kinda feel like a party hotel, very similar to a cruise. They had an activity director at the pool deck and music plays from 10-5ish. If you’re looking for the quiet relaxing scene this might not be the best choice, or definitely book a villa. We did get Quiet out on the beach. Definitely would recommend for a budget friendly trip!
The hotel is beautiful. Service was ok. I had better service in other hotels in Cancun.
Very good customer service. Nice people/staff.
The staff including bar tenders were all super friendly and attentive. We were actually really surprised at how good the majority of the food was there. We would recommend this property to anyone and would go back.
