Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Darling Harbour

4.5 out of 5.0

Great location walking distance to shops, Darling Harbour and theatre. Have good walking shoes Room suited us as they separated the beds to suit 2 adult daughters and myself. Found the extra bed which was bought in for us very soft not supportive enough for an adult, ok for children

Situated in a convenient location for access into darling harbor or the CBD. If you unfamiliar with the location and how to get there driving could see you miss your turn and end up detouring via the Sydney Harbor Bridge. The room was very nice with a different layout to the usual hotel/ apartment. Access to the bed is via two sliding doors, one on each corner of the foot of the bed. The bathroom however is the main detractor. You need to step up into the bath to have a shower and it's a decent step up, then if your 6 ft or over expect a little claustrophobia. The ceiling is an inch from your head. Then getting out is the pain. A step down with no real hand rail to assist and a real concern that you could slip and hurt yourself. You could use the towel rack but I'd say it's not designed for that. Oh and if you used the towel rack, your towel is now wet from the shower. Just throw it somewhere else but in reach. In a competitive market these blemishes detracted from what was a nice apartment.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times and it is generally good. It is perfectly located in darling harbour with easy access to city as well. This time our room was not so good (58 or 59). The bed is essentially two singles pushed together and you had a very bad ridge down the middle of the bed. The air conditioning intake rattled so much i had to get up in the middle of the night and adjust until i turned off the aircon. So whilst they are not big things it is often the little things that dont make you feel at home.

The Hotel was perfect distance from everything in Darling Harbour. It had laundry facilities right in the room. Also, there was plenty of room to spread out for longer stays. Would be great for families and highly recommended.

Great, convenient place to stay - very comfortable. Staff were helpful and polite. Conference facilities were good - food was good, temperature was good and clean. I would recommend staying to work colleagues.

Was in Sydney for 24 hours on business, location is great, upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment. The staff were very friendly and apartment was clean. Very spacious and had everything that was needed. The only issue I had was the bed and pillow were terrible. The apartment also looked a bit tired and could have done with general maintenance to improve overall appearance.

The hotel is well located... close to Darling Harbour (situated just behind the aquarium), near the new restaurants and cafes of Barangaroo, and a short walk up to Pitt St for shopping. A walk to The Rocks took about 15 minutes. Check in staff were fine, not overly attentive but not rude. The problem I had was the standard of the room, it was tidy but not clean, and seems to be in need of renovation. There were dirty marks on lampshades, skirting boards behind the bed were full of dust (I noticed this when I was plugging a phone charger into electrical socket). In the bathroom the floor grouting was black in some areas, the shower head was awkward, there was a undeniably foul smell coming from the sink when the water was turned on (semi blocked drain), rust stains around the bath, and finally, a lumpy mattress that has clearly seen better days and grossed me out. The location and price are definite pluses but I would not stay again.

Great location with very comfortable rooms. In room guest info needs to be updated especially in room dining as some food suppliers no longer exist! Hotel restuarant was closed for renovations and no alternative was given! House keeping was a little slack as we didn't get our rubbish removed for 2 days and had to ask for this to happen! Guest parking was a little confusing and very tight if you have a large 4WD! Most attractions are within walking distance with plenty of restaurants close by. Public transport is a bit of a hike but taxis at front door. Great place to stay during vivid with excellent views of Darling Harbour lights! We found it a bit over priced for what you get all though we would stay there again!

Had a great weekend in the Adina Apartments. Very clean and tidy. All equipment working. Only disappointment was there was no hotel park available at 7:30 on a friday night. We were told twice that they never run out of parking! Great location 😊
