Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Darling Harbour4.5 out of 5.0

I stayed 4 nights on business. Room was well appointed and comfortable. In the context of Darling Harbour this hotel is good value. Free wi-fi typically slow and unusable for anything meaningful, but didn't bother me too much as tethered to mobile phone. My room was, I think, the smallest in the hotel, but that also didn't bother me - it suited me fine. Others in our party had much bigger rooms, so if you want space I guess you should ask. There was no breakfast restaurant in the hotel, which is mildly annoying, but lots of cafe's and restaurants close by, many don't open till 8am though. Overall staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Large clean well equipped rooms, Check in/out quick and friendly. Very close too Darling Harbour restaurants, attractions. Shortcut to Wyndam train station through Bangaroo . 24hr convenience store below hotel.
Well located property for access to ICC Sydney (10 min walk) or CBD. Room was excellent. Did not use room service which is just as well as the minimum charge was quite high if you only wanted a light meal. Would certainly use this property again in future.
Stayed here with family in a suite. Perfect location, you can either walk or take a ferry to the Sydney Harbor. This Adina is located right next to the aquarium, wildlife park and madame tussauds. Room was clean, we had no issues. The only minor inconvenience was that their free wifi option is not very strong. Staff at the front desk pointed us in the right direction whenever we had a request.
We enjoyed our stay at the Adina darling harbour. The views from our balcony to darling harbour was beautiful and only walking distance to the ferry & aqarium etc. This is my 2nd stay in 9 months and will definitely stay again. Rooms are very clean and comfortable
This hotel is ideal for those staying in Sydney for a few nights and who would appreciate the extra space afforded by an apartment. The living area also provides a workspace, and the kitchenette is convenient for those who do not want to eat out for each meal. Great location, walking distance to Darling Harbour, CBD, Wynyard Station and The Rocks.
Great value and located right on Darling Harbour. The Aquarium, Madam Tussauds and The Wild Australia Zoo are right on your doorstep. Head along the jetty and there are plenty of dining options available too.
Firstly when we arrived we were charged a $7.00 credit card surcharge fee to pay our $650 stay with visa and offered no alternative method of payment. The room was dated and not what we expected for the price. Our room was also adjoining a main road, which also had a night club across the road, so we had to put up with doof doof loud music until the early hours of the morning. This made getting our child, and ourselves, to sleep very difficult! The bed was also uncomfortable and amount of blankets was minimal. Despite booking for 2 adults and a child, we had to ring each night for a towel and pillow for the third person, as we were only provided with towels rtc for 2 people. All this left a sour taste in our mouth. The only thing hotel had going for it was location. However with the strong competition of great hotels in Sydney in also great locations, we would not stay at Adina Darling Harbour again, or recommend to anyone.
Great stay for four days at Adina. The staff were particularly helpful and on-to-it! The rooms were great, very clean and well maintained. The coffee machine in the lobby in the morning is a really nice touch. Location is fabulous for all the action and sights of Darling Harbour.
Recently booked to stay in this hotel for 6-nights. Arrived just before 10pm and during check-in we were advised the booked Studio room does not allow for 2 adults and 2 young kids travelling with us. Age 9 and 6. Receptionist Ben was adamant that we had to book for another room, or move to a 2 bedroom apartment which was not available that night either. Not a conversation you want to be having when you're tired and late at night. This is the only hotel out of the three we stayed in Sydney that would not allow 2 young kids in their standard room. After a long and multiple arguments with the receptionist, one of us (adult) decided to stay in another hotel in world square (with a much better check-in experiences arguably), and we checked out the next day. We worked with our booking provider hotels.com to cancel the rest of the stay. I would not be recommending Adina, or any of their affiliated brands to my friends and families. Staff seriously need better training and understand whilst their policies might not allow for 2 kids, it was late and travellers need to rest.
