The property Is still under renovation and the rooms still need to be updated we had a 32in old school tv that stood on the dresser the jetted tub was not clean it had a rust ring around it as well as the jets had rust…room service is not included in your stay it’s an additional charge and if you don’t get reservations for a restaurant they get you a table if you buy a bottle…we basically ate at the buffets which was not bad the pasta and seafood options are good for those that do not eat meat like me…staff was friendly oh yea and the drinks are all watered down so make sure you buy a bottle at the hotel or order double shots on the side to add yourself

The staff is awesome, the conditions of the room were on the lower end, room smelled like mold, beds where uncomfortable. The jacuzzi looked dirty. This was our 4th time there, last time was four years ago and the conditions of the resort have deteriorated significantly since 2021. The shows were average not exciting or a real wow factor. The food was better four years ago, more snack options like street tacos by the pool around lunchtime, great hibachi, etc. This time the tortillas were terrible, the sushi at the Asian restaurant was not good, with the exception of the sashimi. The staff is very attentive I'll give them that. Pool was not very clean, and you can just tell it's worn out. I went with a fun crowed so we had a blast regardless. Part of the resort was closed they as well are supposed to be doing a complete reno on the resort, which it really does need it. I think once they do that it will be back to all its glory.

My husband and i are in live with this place, second time visiting and already planning a 3rd trip. It was a little different this time with the construction happening in the property, kinda cut the amenities for us and some restaurants were improvised but, food was still delicious and customer service is alway delightful. We can't wait to try the new rooms!

A-lot to say but the most important is my dislike regarding the family club, so I reserve that hotel especially because a have a baby and the pictures showed a water park and it didn’t specify that we had to buy an specific category to have access so when we got there the water park was for some people ONLY so they didn’t even let me buy a day pass or anything, Second the hotel showed a hibachi restaurant on the pictures which is our favorite and it was under construction but that wasn’t said at the time of purchasing our stay, not to mention the amount of mosquitoes and flies everywhere, it was horrible, my family and I came back home full of mosquitoes bites. The jacuzzi inside our bathroom had flies stick on the walls, also the first night of our stay we couldn’t have dinner at the restaurant because all of them where full but I called the hotel few days before our arrival just to make sure to reserve ahead of time in the restaurants and they told me that wasn’t possible but that we would be able to reserve at a restaurant the same day, that means they lied about it. So I recommend the hotel to work better on the customer service.

Nobody unformed us about seaweed season. We stayed there full 9 days and weren't able go to the beach. Spent vacation at the pool.

The staff work really hard and it’s clear they are underpaid. The property is incredibly poorly managed at the top with silly business decisions like splitting the resort in 3: normal, platinum and families. If you are a family like us they don’t automatically give you access to children’s facilities such as the children’s pool. We won’t be returning. Lots of poor business decisions. There are much better resorts in playa del Carmen for the same amount. Also the mosquitos are out of control!

This is a very large property so plan on doing a lot of walking to get from room to beach to restaurants. Our room was located in building 6 which was perfect for us during the day being close to the pools & beach access, but it was quite a walk to the majority of the restaurants at the front of the resort. We missed all the shows due to the only available restaurant reservation times overlapping with show times which was disappointing. Also, with check in times being 4pm it would be nice is more than 1 eating option was open during that arrival window and don't show up hungry from a long day of travel excited to enjoy some resort options just for everything to be closed until dinner time except one sports bar & grill at the front on the resort. We LOVED the spa & visited a few times for massages! The other resort guests made the trip- everyone was so friendly and we had a great time running into new friends throughout the week there.

Great food and amazing staff! A little noisy due to construction but excited to see what they will build. The first night our air conditioning stopped working but they switched our room. The food was amazing. The staff was super friendly and kind. The first night our air conditioning stopped working but they switched our room. The next room was filled with mosquitoes. They tried to fumigate but it didn’t help. The property was under construction but I’m excited to see what they are building. Overall I will be back. Loved it so much.
