Reservations made a mistake and cancelled one of the two rooms we reserved, made us wait a while to get us the room only to find out it was the wrong room, ugh, just wanted to settle in and relax, ended up keeping the wrong room vs waiting again!

Beautiful hotel, excellent customer service. The staff were all really great, friendly and willing to help, definitively coming back to this hotel.

The private beach is worth the extra. Resort is huge...don't pack heels. Food was decent...book at least a week to enjoy. Room was spacious and well kept. My room was 6179. Thank you for a great bday vacation!

Beautiful hotel with tons of polls and a beach on the property! 2 of the specialty restaurants were amazing! (Las Olas-seafod, and Miso-hibachi) the Mexican restaurant sucked, and we cancelled the Italian for a 2nd night at Las Olas. The hotels biggest flaw was the lack of signage! It's huge and if you have friends on separate sides it takes a while before you can find places without getting lost. Overall, beautiful hotel though. Definitely recommend it.

i enjoyed myself at this resort met a lot of friendly people aswell. Traveling alone i was concerned with safety and after the first day lets just say i needed to be escorted to my room for drinking too much. Point is the resort is really safe so its ok to bring your whole family here and not worry about anything to go wrong. Also, the resort is large so if you don't like walking then maybe you shouldnt go. But i enjoyed it, there is a large population of south American raccoons there that as you walk is pretty cool to see them.

Wish there was more night life, but the day life was great lots of pools and beach w bars

Our stay was phenomenal! I will definitely come back.

Staff was great resort was clean and beautiful landscaping.

iPhone 6 was stolen at pool on first day! Our room was in terrible shape- light fixture had fallen off ceiling and was on floor when we first entered room, safe was not working, sliding door to closet and safe had to be fixed- wasn't working, bathroom floor flooded- water filled areas of floor through the room, key didn't work 3 times in one day- my husband threw a fit and they finally reprogrammed our door after they had suggested it was the users fault!!! Nice place but just not great service!! And our room had not been kept up or they just didn't care! Mediocre food, huge place so it took a longer to get to beach and restaurants. A lot of things on resort were not included in the all inclusive, lots of extra costs that we usually don't encounter when we have stayed in Mexico in the past

It was a short drive from the Airport. Check in was fast and the lobby staff was excellent. Grounds are beautiful and room was great also. We had breakfast at the Snack Riviera buffet every day and the hostess was amazing, should have wrote her name down. The beach and pools are 1st class. Maria with the entertainment staff is awesome. All the alacarte dinners were good but the hibachi was our favorite.

We had a great time here on our honeymoon. A little problem with the room when we checked in (gave us 2 twin beds instead of a king) but after talking to the front desk and explaining our dissatisfaction with this accommodation the next day they gave us a king bed room and a free day at the spa.

We stayed at the resort for 4 nights/5 days. We traveled with a 16 month old. Cons: Check in process took too long, golf cart shuttle to room wait was too long, rooms and pools are worn down compared to pics on website, have to pay extra for use of toddler's water park, toys and activities, too far from downtown Playa del Carmen to walk. Pros: Plenty of restaurant choices to choose from, hotel staff very friendly and helpful, spacious rooms with balcony, plenty of activities throughout the day, beautiful beach and set up, great gym with variety of exercise equipment, great massages at the Spa, beautiful landscape and property grounds

Stayed in riviera platnium. Excellent rooms with ocean view. Rooms are spacious and clean.....staff was fabulous..Good variety of food in buffets. A la carte resautants were awesome. Chill out area at beach was fabulous.

We travel with two kids, and hotel have rooms big enough to accommodate one king size bed, two cribs and a bunk bed! A whirlpool bathtub is included in the room, so all the bathroom is spacious. A nice playground next to a kids pool area and activity center are enough places to keep kids busy all day.

I was happy with the cleanliness of the premises. I thought the staff was friendly and helpful. if there was an improvement to be made I would say better quality sheets and comforters and no oriental food night. It should be Mexican food night every night.....after all we are in Mexico, just a thought. You will enjoy your stay.

The resort is Huge!!!! Check in is at exactly 3:00pm. If you arrive at the hotel earlier than that make sure you have your swim suit on so you can hit the beach and not waste any time. Otherwise you will be waiting in the lobby the entire time. You get what you pay for. The more you pay the more you get such as the proximity to the pool, undivided attention and food. I had to request a room change several times before feeling comfortable and on vacation. I spent a day and a half resolving this issue which made me lose vacation time with no compensation. My experience was not what I expected it to be. Next time I will stay at a smaller resort or pay double of what I paid for.

Hotel was very big and beautiful. But they are very disorganized and rude! We got there at 9am and didn't get the room till 4:30pm. They don't try to accommodate the guest at all. The front desk staff were very rude to us. For the amount of people they have coming in they should have more staff. No one says hi or acknowledges you. I was very upset along with my parents and husband. I will never stay there again. They ruined our anniversary! Stay away from this place!

Beautiful hotel and incredible staff.. I would definitely come back and recommended to my friends..

Everything perfect but the drinks, they are good but need to improve on sodas taste like they have been storage for a long time...but other than that really enjoy the hotel and amenities
