My husband, 15 month old, and I had a great stay at the Hyatt Ziva! We loved that it was all inclusive, and we didn’t need to leave the hotel for anything if we did not want to. The staff was all super friendly. The drinks and food were all good and pretty comparable to other all inclusives I’ve been too. I will say that each night they only had two of the restaurants open, but we did stay for night so it rotated, which was nice so fortunately, we did get to try them all out! The only negative thing I have to say is that the beach is very small, and I couldn’t tell this from pics. This didn’t matter that much since we were going during seaweed season anyways, so we were not planning to go to the beach there anyways. We did take a day trip to Isla Mujeres the beach there was gorgeous!!! A must do!

The food wasn’t good at all a simple burger and small things like breakfast foods were nasty, they have Japanese style restaurant and that was the best thing to eat.. there were raccoons wondering around all day and night one was even at my room door preventing me from leaving out.. drinks could have been better overall 4/10

The property was advertised as a beach location. There was no accessible beach. Most restaurants were closed. Even the ones that were open had long wait times. Overall not a good experience.

The staff at Hyatt Ziva are wonderful—friendly, attentive. The food options were ok, though not overly impressive. The best dinner was at the hibachi restaurant and best food overall was at The corner pool restaurant. While the resort is beautiful and relaxing, there aren’t many kid-friendly activities, which makes it less ideal for families looking for entertainment options for children. There is a kids club but it was not open when we tried to go. VIP areas were unimpressive. I didn’t know we had a butler until day 2, but due to lack of activities they couldn’t be very helpful: Overall nice. Room had a beautiful view. I wouldn’t stay again though.

Lots of cheap, rude, drunk Americans and staff rented us pool cabana, charged us 100.00 dlls and then put a huge bubble party with loud music and drunks that threw up next to our “private cabana”. The water park had dirty and non-working slides

The worst resort I have been at. Total false advertisement. They only open 2 restaurants a night. Horrible small buffet, no beach at all. Dirt road filled with potholes leading to hotel, a very bumpy ride. Management is horrible but staff are very good. Snack stand ran out of food 2 days in a row. No skins at bar one night bartender was folding toilet paper to place under glass. Would never return or recommend this place to anyone. We are frequent visitors to Riviera Maya and figured we would try another place. WORST DECISION WEMADE!! Managers do NOTHING!

The staff and service was very good. The dining timings were time bound so it should be 24/7 rather than opening and closint at the apecific timings. Also the road coning and back from the hotel is not smooth and bumpy.
