Entertainment was ok - it would be nice for an elevated stage for better viewing. Construction is understandable yet unfortunate to constant noise. Disappointed that stood and waited for restaurants only to find out the entire restaurant was booked for Diamond club - notification of this would of been appreciated. Staff was outstanding! Room cleaning was fabulous!

The Good: The resort was very clean and well maintained. It was very not overly big so you could walk anywhere without issues but it had enough pools that the pools and beach never felt crowded. The daily and nightly entertainment was surprisingly quite good. The food options were more than adequate and the quality was good. The rooms were clean and the beds/mattress were excellent. There were plenty of pool seats and cabana’s so no need to get up at a ridiculous hour to “Save” your chairs. The Bad: Not much here but I would state caution that the “No Reservation” requirement at the resort restaurants is not what you think it is. I have done several all-inclusives and the reservation requirement was always a pain and thus I felt going to a resort that eliminated this hassle would be a boon. Turned out to be the opposite! We couldn’t get into our restaurant on the 1st night and we arrived there pretty early. I felt that was very odd given the number of open tables there were. After I started asking around, I discovered that they do take reservations under certain circumstances and thus the “Prime hours 6-9pm” were booked pretty solid. If you took their promotional tour (like a timeshare tour but in this case, it was a discount broker tour) they would help you get reservations on top of the traditional goodies they give you. Alternatively, you could “Pre-order” a bottle(s) of wine and that person could get you whatever timeslot you wanted.

The property was amazing. The staff was also great and tge amenities were top notch. I will return again.

The food and drink were good. The road from thr main street to the hotel is bad.

Beautiful beaches, water was alittle brownish, pools were great, pool entertainment staff were great. Had to walk far to get to many things. Service in the upgraded restaurants was very slow. The buffet was great.

Everything was WONDERFUL ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Amazing AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Awesome food more than I’d imagined!!

Dirty rooms Dirty sheets with blood stains/fluids Front desk staff was extremely rude Very disappointed with multiple things. Will never go back!

Avoid this resort for the following reasons: q This was my 3rd trip to Cancun and this time I decided to stay at a 5 start resort vs 3 or 4 stars resorts. 1: Food quality, amenities, and activities were worse than 3 or 4 start resorts I stayed before. 2: hotel is nearly 10 minutes drive from main road and they do not allow taxis get into the property and you literally pay 3-4 times more to rides provided by the resort for 15-20 minutes drive which is ridiculous. 3: My sister in law and I both lost our expensive sunglasses inside our rooms, likely by house keepers, and it made us just watch for our belongings for the entire trip rather than enjoying our trip. 4: food qualities were poor, especially compared to less expensive resorts. 5: we requested weeks in advance to have our room and our families be in the same building, knowing it was our anniversary as well; but they put us in 3 different buildings far away from each other, and did not bother to help us, and they asked us for more money to put us in the same building! Extremely poor customer service. 6: some of hotel staff and outside commission based agencies non stop were asking us to buy leisure packages from them, which made us very uncomfortable. These are just a few issues I pointed out, and I will never return to this hotel.

The pools were very clean however closing the pools at 6pm seemed early. It was a shame the beach was pretty much unusable due to the seaweed and smell. The foid portions at the restaurants are small however the buffet offered m.h any vegan options which was much appreciated. The staff were nice and attentive however sometimes a little pushy for tips. Room service food was not good and it took 2hrs.

The Hotel was big and had many things to do and eat but The reception staff was not accommodating His name was Ivan.. Then Dio from guest services helped us a lot a we are very appreciative of Dio... The ocean was the downfall and the smell from the algae Made it sick full the entire trip... Otherwise many restaurants, pools and fun shows at nite Was entertaining.. But again The OCEAN is why we go to Cancun And it was misesrable...

We paid so much money for a trip that was not worth. The beach was so filthy we couldn’t get in it. There were flies everywhere and we got sick because of the food. It was not a goo experience for my family! We ended up renting a car to go to another beach and eat different food. Not impressed by this property and will not recommend to anyone.

The variety of shows and the amazing tours were enjoyable

Employee from restaurant stoled my son’s headphone off table. Rooms were not cleaned properly and dirty and stained sheets were provided. Mini bar/fridge is a joke. Broken tiles in pools, including swim up. Rude front desk and guest service representative. This resort offers 0 communication with it’s guest. Emails go unanswered and management doesn’t seem to care once they gotten paid.

Service was slow and inconsistent. Food was mediocre. Rooms were nice. Areas for improvement would be speedier checkin and online booking system for restaursnt reservations. Stayed as part of a wedding group, otherwise would have chosen a different resort. The Armadillo was best food on property. Multiple members of our group got food poisoning
