Great swim property for babies and toddlers.
This by far has been my worst trip EVER. This was my second time visiting royalton within the last three years and I have to say the better days are way behind them. I started with the rooftop room and the private pool was soo bad and green colored water they advised not to use it so I had to downgrade to a swimout half way through my trip since the issue couldn’t be resolved after attempts from maintenance workers. The swimout room was filthy and was even worst than the first room. The restroom smelled like urine in a public restroom, the linen was stained, towels had a terrible smell, food was below average, room service was limited with options, the swim out pool was dirty, there were paint stain everywhere, even found a paint brush in the pool, the rooms were not cleaned properly, many water stains, furniture broken and old. There were soo many mosquitoes in the room my husband and I couldn’t even sleep. The resort is doing a terrible job maintaining the comfort of their guest and don’t seem to really care. They eventually had to come spray several rooms since many were complaining and the smell stayed for the entire trip. You’re not greeted with drinks, I had to call for robes, the beach isn’t fully functional. I will be posting a video soon. Please spend your money elsewhere I was soo happy to get back to the airport and go home. Don’t do it!
By far the worst resort I ever stayed at. They gave me a room that reeked of mold. I should’ve received a room with a partial ocean view instead I had a view of the jungle and the back alley way of where the workers throughout trash. The room had beds in the bed and on the floor. The sheets were dirty and the restroom area was not cleaned. I asked to be moved to another room and they wanted to charge me a fee although there room was below standards. It took the resort staff over 8 hours to get me into another room. I also asked for birthday accommodations- banner, rose petals, champagne, etc. none of which got done. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Staff and resort all the way around just horrible -
A lot of places for kids. Kids activites are provided. Good amount of food options. Nicely prepared beach.
They have gluten free and vegan options in the main hall. Nice relaxing vacation.
little bit of mis management in this property
For it being my families first time visiting MX our trip was very disappointing. The hotel was not the cleanest, the smell outside was horrible. The beach was not accessible at all from the seaweed and the smell was horrible. Our family got sick several days of the week from the food there in different restaurants. I was super sick 1 day after eating at the steakhouse. Not our best experience for going the first time.
For being in Mexico our first time it was pretty disappointing. The beach is a definite no go, so much seaweed, the smell was horrible daily. We got sick several days there after eating the food in multiple restaurants. We were disappointed.
