Lovely property with great food and vibes. You can have a quiet and relaxing time or a more lively experience. There’s something for everyone. The variety and quality of the food and drinks was outstanding. The staff was extremely accommodating and very attentive. The only downfall was the mosquitos. Citronella spray was provided but I recommend bringing something heavy duty.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share this experience to help future guests make informed decisions. We paid for both the VIP Access and Romance Package, expecting a premium, near-all-inclusive experience — but were shocked by the number of upcharges at every turn. Despite paying for the most expensive tier, we were still charged $165 for a Tomahawk steak, which felt excessive and misleading. Many wines and liquors were also not included, even though the packages advertised “premium” or “exclusive” options. When I approached the concierge to politely inquire about the charges, I was met with a dismissive and unprofessional response: “It’s a business.” Not only was this answer unhelpful, but the tone was incredibly rude and condescending — completely inappropriate for a service-focused resort. To make matters worse, the beaches were completely unusable due to piles of rotting seaweed. The odor was overwhelming — similar to a porta-potty, making it impossible to relax or enjoy the beachside areas. At no point during the booking process were we made aware of the beach conditions, and there appeared to be little effort to manage the situation. If you're considering upgrading to VIP or adding specialty packages, be aware that many items you'd assume are included, are not. You’ll likely face unexpected charges, and — based on my experience — poor customer service if you question them. And not to mention, my bathroom was covered in mold.

Beautiful place for a relaxing vacation. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Some construction was happening but it was barely noticeable. The evening entertainment was typical Mexico. Don’t expect Las Vegas and you’ll enjoy it. The spa gives wonderful massages. Tips: Stay here if you love taking full advantage of the resort. It is wonderful. Do not go for the beach. Tipping is optional but recommended. Take plenty of small bills as they will absolutely not provide any. Not even at the gift shop. It seems like an unspoken policy they have. Make sure you know the exchange rate math as all the charge tickets to your room will be in pesos. If they overcharge you, you won’t have any recourse because you signed the ticket. We didn’t have an issue, but a friend did. The tile floors are nice, but very slippery when wet. And they are everywhere. Take good shoes.

The room was always spotless, which we appreciated, but the mosquito problem was quite bothersome. The staff, with the exception of Sandra at the buffet, often seemed disengaged and unfriendly. The waiters at the Mexican restaurant and Olivia were particularly dismissive, which made us feel unwelcome. Though this didn’t spoil our vacation, a warmer attitude from staff would improve the experience. The food was underwhelming. The breakfast buffet felt repetitive, and lunch and dinner options there were even less appealing. The restaurants served average dishes, but the service was quick, which we appreciated. It was surprising that food couldn’t be ordered poolside—a first for us at any resort. Lunch at the grill seemed dry, and many guests didn’t finish their meals. The beachside spot offered only burgers, fries, and hot dogs, which were unappetizing. Facilities also fell short. The elevators were often dirty, making us hesitant to touch buttons. Roof leaks during rain created hazards. On a positive note, each room had a handy cubby for room service items. The second pool was quiet and relaxing, though only two pools are available for non-Serenity guests. A staff member cleaned sunglasses at the main pool, a lovely touch we wished extended to the quieter pool. The café’s offerings, especially the ice cream, were consistently enjoyable. Overall, while some amenities were nice, improvements in staff friendliness, food quality, and maintenance would enhance the stay.

Everything was great the service guys up front were the most....the cleaning of room was great too...BUT BUT the restaurant Agua Bendita was a no ....the sit down was great the waiter was rushing us to order so we ordered asap...food came bad presentation...i asked for A1 sauce waiter never brought it my steak got cold asked another waiter for sauce and he brought ASAP...although A1 sauce didnt help. food and appetizers were horrible just horrible. The presentation is nothing like what it is online honestly think restaurant needs to be switched out to save the hotels reputation. Other than that everything was great from arrival to check in to check the ppl were just great!!!

Fabulous hotel and property, would highly recommend. The setting was lovely, pools were great and not crowded, staff was doing their best with the seagrass on the beach but the pools more than made up for it. The food was excellent, lots of options. We upgraded to Serenity which was worth every penny. The staff were all so happy and helpful, but the best was Nacho, our group butler who was unbelievably helpful and really made our experience so much more special. Thank you Nacho, and all the team!
