Had a quick getaway to escape the cold first stay here and had a great time very relaxing beautiful resort great rooms Amazing food and great staff and the privilege package is def worth it staff the entire stay were very accommodating and friendly as well as the online concierge Katia was so very helpful. I couldn't believe it had 9 restaurants! Plus its own ice cream shop!!the food was better than expected!! The room was huge drinks on point! Clean pools nice beach they did have to clean the seaweed evey day great shows all around enjoyed how they transformed the resort into Mexican night with all the shopping u needed right there

The property is huge! Many choices for meals. The workers were anazing! Alejandro with entertainment was the best! Along with Antonio, he brought us our drinks everyday by the pool.and Antonio in the buffet actually gave my friend and i a gift on our last day. The ocean wasn't as clear as i wanted but the amazing staff made up for it. Woukd definitely recommend this hotel.

Check-in was horrible. It was very hot in the lobby and they only had one person working there. Waited on line for a long time. I then checked in and was told I needed to wait until 4pm for my room although check in was at 3pm Not happy with that process!

IF YOU HAVE PICKY EATERS DONT STAY! The food was not even half of what I expected little to no options for picky kids. The pools closed earlier than stated. Staff is not as friendly as at other resorts. (Been traveling for 7 years) they don’t say hi to you. The service at the restaurants was very bad. We even tipped and that didn’t help. I feel like unless you are a prestige member you are not gonna get good service. The pools have tile pieces falling apart. Which caused my toddler to cut his foot and started bleeding a lot. Luckily that was our last day there. The pool had a lot of black flakes every single day. It looked like mold? Idk.. The spa tubs in the spa were not working the day we went to get a massage only one of them the cold one. It’s sad because the rooms are so nice with separate seating areas and 1.5 bathrooms but the service is what ruined the whole week for us. We were promised to get a room with jacuzzi and bath robes. We got a nice room but no jacuzzi only one robe. Our sectional looked very worn and stained. The pull out bed had big yellow stains. Honestly never again will we stay there! 😖 we stayed here because I had to book 3 weeks in advance because of my job. This was the only option for us. I’ve paid the same at El Cid Marina and it was 10x better in every aspect.

The only way I could recommend this place is if you like to be treated poorly, when asking for something to be fixed like the restroom leaking having to wait and when “they fix it” you still have the same problem. If you don’t mind dirty restrooms then this is the place to be. I hated it, I hate the fact I had to spend 8 nights there. My kids were ready to go home from day 1. Never AGAIN I will stay here. Staff doesn’t care about you, they even get an attitude with you. I’ve stayed at other resorts with no problems at all.

Had amazing service. From are arrival Vanessa making us feel welcomed and an awesome server named Angel making our stay extraordinary.

Route 66 restaurant is the best.

This was a typical all-inclusive resort. I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels and this was definitely not a 5 star. It was probably a 3.5 star hotel. Not bad but not the most luxurious. So if you’re willing to stay at a moderately priced hotel with 3.5 star amenities, you will be pleased.

My main concern is that the lobby walls are covered with birds poop.

Needs lots of maintenance. It’s run down. Needs more staff. Plumbing and electric problems. 5 people in my group got sick from something in the resort. I just got back last night and I’m still sick. The beach is discussing. It smells bad. They don’t clean the sea weed. I’ll never go to this place again

I like it

Really spacious main area, with beautiful balconies off the main lobby for relaxing on the chais lounge or having a drink as the sun goes down. Lots of restaurant options (you will need to make reservations for most at 8 AM sharp), and nightly activities. Drinks were strong, bartenders very kind! The only cons were that the beach chairs really need to be replaced, the staff doesn't enforce time limits to the chairs, so people put their things on them early in the morning (like 6 AM) to reserve a chair, and eventually there will be no chairs for you and your family. There is quite a bit of algae/seaweed, but what can you do. Some of the other resorts are a bit better at hauling it away. The pools are excellent with a lot of features for relaxing and having fun. Wish that they had a bar open at the main pool, not just the adult pool. We had to hike over to that pool for drinks and while we would see waitstaff at the main pool, they never took drink orders. Not sure if that was only available for the "privelge" level of service, which we didn't have. Overall, we had a great time and would come back! It wasn't the fanciest place but for the price, it's a good value.

Dear Ms. Olivarez: Thank you for taking the time to share your insight about the different components of your vacation experience with us . We do apologise if your childen could not find their favorites options at the 9 of our restaurants a la carte and neither in the variety of the buffets we do have. We do feel sorry if you felt that the service was better for other guests, im pretty sure was a missunderstanding as every guest is special for us. I can not find a report with your details about your kid incident, at the moments something like that happens, our first aid services take care of the injured ones and we do offer medical services. Pools are daily cleaned after they close at 8pm (with their expetions is there is bad weather or something unexpected); unfortunately we can not control the coconut palm trees usually falling down to the pool (those flakes you mention). Again apologise for the inconveniences in the room, we are taking notes to talk with the areas in charge of, the room you got was a very superior category than you booked and than the usually given upgrade for premium VIP; the master suite ocean view. I will certainly take consider your observations as we continue to work hard to live up to our five stars certifications. I am confident that in the near future, you will provide us another opportunity to demonstrate that this was the exception rather than the rule at The Ocean Coral & Turquesa. We remain at your service.
