Nice resort.. plenty of things to do.. room are a little outdated but very clean

The staff was amazing and very helpful. You can tell they all wanted to make sure you were taken care of. Areas are a bit far from each other and the room keys are very sensitive; we had to get our switched out about five times since it kept becoming unmagnetized.

We stayed at Paraiso Beach and had an amazing experience. From the beginning we were welcomed by Berenice Castillo who made our checking and restaurant reservations with friendliness and professionalism. We loved the two rooms we had. Both were exactly the same, spacious and very clean. Amazing views regardless of which building you stay at. Grounds are gorgeous. The food was delicious every where we ate. The service was beyond any other resort we have stayed at. I would like to thank Jorge, Alberto, Daniel, Sandra, Marta and Javier who were are waiters and waitresses at the Buffet. Definitely a place we will be visiting again and recommending to our friends and family.

I love Iberostar The place is great and the Customer Services is Excellent

This was our 1st time to Mexico and we couldn't ask for anything better. It was an amazing trip. All the staff were so nice and welcoming. Our room was very clean and spacious. The pool was great and the atmosphere was very romantic. Thank you Iberostar, we will definately visit your Hotel(s) again. Shawna

The resort is absolutely beautiful. Lots of wildlife. Staff was amazing. Lots of food choices. The only thing i wish they could do is keep people from holding all the good beds and chairs with their towels. They won’t use them all day and then no one else gets to enjoy them.

Ilike everything. This was the best resort from 5 our visit in Mexico. Better than Bahiya, Barcello.

Pros: Resort grounds were by far the best I've seen at any resort in Mexico. Very well maintained. Awesome food and selection at buffets. Free & decent sized room safe. Cons: Main pool closed for repairs the entire time. Mediocre food at à la carte restaurants. Shower / tub combo is very awkward to enter / exit. Short people beware. Neutral: Despite having "beach" in the resort's name, it was no where near the beach. Checked in at Paraiso Beach lobby, given room in Del Mar. Pools were mostly clean, but the water level was several inches low. Generally below filter levels, so simply things like leaves were never removed. Free but barely usable wi-fi throughout resort. No drawers / shelves for clothing. But had lots of hangers in closet. No elevators anywhere. If you have a wheelchair or stroller, good luck. Limited bourbon / whiskey selection.

The air conditioner could of been cooler in room, couldn’t set it any lower.

By far the worst experience we have ever had at an all-inclusive resort. The check in process was horrendous, the staff was rude and not helpful, the foods was absolutely atrocious. I would've preferred to eat at a fast food restaurant than have one more meal at the resort.

Overall, the hotel was nice and clean. Staff were great. Food selections for vegetarians is not too great. The main dining areas pretty much have the same food everyday. Liked the gym facilities. The yoga, zumba and spinning classes were great. They are also building a new gym....hopefully it will be even better. The drinks were kinda okay. They were low on the alcohol content and the beer on tap was very lite. The pool area was nice and clean.

Staff is not very nice. Air conditioner bad, no iron in room, mosquitoes were horrible, not a good experience overall.

overall I enjoyed my stay at the iberostar paraiso beach The food overall was pretty decent maybe a little bit better of the theme restaurants everything was kept very clean and tidy if you do go here expect to do a lot of walking that's kind a like the one drawback everything is spread out but overall I would try it again

Great mix of food, entertainment, beach, and activities for all. Kids club was fantastic...our kids didn't want to leave

The hotel rooms and grounds were very well maintained. The beach was very easy to get to and food and service was great. Only complaint was that there are 5 different resorts, all owned by Iberostar, crammed together in this resort and it makes it difficult to tell where you can get food and drinks without being told your in the wrong place.

Pool, beach, food, drinks, service, rooms, entertainment are fantastic. We didn't like the coaties running around. The peacocks are all over strutting their fantastic feathers. Sounds like a jungle at night. We were offered upgrade to the Maya on third night which was even more amazing but pool at beach hotel is better. Save your seats early by pools and beach and get there by 10 or your stuff will be gone or moved.

We recently just visited Iberostar Riviera Maya from Aril 1-6. Upon arrival we were informed that we were given an “upgrade.” This resort is broken up in to four sections (from most accommodations to least) Grand, Lindo, Beach and Del Mar. We paid for Beach (second tier, from the bottom) and our upgrade was to the Delmar, which in turn was a lower tier area. We questioned this but was given the run around, saying that it they were classified as the same. Funny, because they each have different colored wrist bands and we paid more for this area of the resort. On day two of our stay my husband and I were walking up to the Lobby, and being on the Delmar side our walkway is next to a fence that is covered in trees and bushes, not aware of surroundings on the other side. We heard a motorbike cruising slowly down the other side of the fence and my husband could see well enough that it was two persons with white helmets approaching. 5 gun shots were fired and then within seconds the motorbike fled extremely fast out of the area. Within a few seconds one of our condeeres pulled up on a golf cart and made us quickly get on with him, as he had witnessed the same event. We were in utter shock, scared and took a few minutes to process what had just happened. We mentioned this event to workers in the Lobby, and were again just blown off by the event that just took place. Throughout the remaining time of our stay, there were guards at the fence line, knowing that the guests at the resort
