Xcaret Arte exceeded every expectation. The food and drinks were consistently excellent—high quality, well-prepared, and abundant throughout the stay. What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the staff. The hotel team, the transportation crew, and every single staff member at the affiliated Xcaret parks were exceptional: professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they do. Transportation was seamless and well-organized, making it incredibly easy to enjoy the parks without stress. The entire experience felt thoughtful, immersive, and first-class from start to finish. I highly recommend Xcaret Arte and am already looking forward to returning soon.

The room and amenities are amazing. Beware of one thing. We emailed the hotel prior to our stay about a couple requests to which they said yes to but once at the resort things changed. They don't say no until it comes to it. They also seem to be a bit unorganized with some of their management but i guess its normal considering the size of the property

It was our first time staying at this resort. Which was our second option by the way. We usually stay at the Secrets Moxché in playa del Carmen. From the time we got to the resort it was a long check in process and felt very unorganized. We left our bags for a few hours since our room was not ready. We tried calling the resort a couple of times while we were out exploring to check in on our room & make a dinner reservation (which was recommended by staff) at one of their reservation only restaurants. And both times the staff said they could not find our reservation, which was already paid for and check in for was filled out btw. Once we got to our room , there was a dead cockroach on our floor entering the room and bottle caps left around the tub ( we hadn’t even opened anything). We left the cockroach there as everyday they do housekeeping , just to check if they would catch it the second time. Once we came back on day two of our stay the cockroach was still there and so were the bottle caps. One can only wonder as to how well they actually clean the rooms. The breakfast buffet was beautiful with the aesthetic, but the food was mediocre. Not so authentic as one would think, especially being in a more rustic resort. When we checked out of the room we let the person at the front desk know about the cockroach and even showed pictures of it untouched and all he said was “I’m sorry”. That’s it ?!? We paid over $1,100 USD a night and that all we got. Needless to say wont be back
