Amazing property. After visiting I now understand why people visit 20 times. The dining options, the beach, the pools, the rooms are all excellent. Only a few things I wish to see different in my next trip, because yes, I will be returning! •I wish restrooms were fully private. Husband and I love entire privacy when using the restroom. It is the one place where we don’t care to follow each other to, or being separated only by a glass door and a curtain. •For the quality of the place, I was expecting a bit more about the night life, better said about the music/environment overall. It’s catered to the majority (American, 40-60 year old range) which is nice but it’s Cancun, Mexico! Instead of making them feel like they haven’t left the US, invite them to enjoy the culture a bit more. I would have loved to see a more tropical/beach/Spanish environment when it came to the music being played. Even though we’re not aiming for a spring break vibe, it could still have been more “tropical” than a whole bunch of 80s and 90s English hits. •Dress code: although we all appreciate well dressed people, it feels like they focus on the wrong things. They fussed about my husband’s very nice banded collar guayabera (which had been okayed by a previous staff member) but saggy pants/polos and ugly tennis shoes are acceptable because it follows dress code? Like I said, would love to see the above improve but we’re already planning to return!

Our guest room was absolutely gorgeous, what a treat to arrive to fresh flowers, fruit and champagne, and a well stocked fridge! We were completely spoiled during our stay; everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was great, as was the entertainment and pool activities. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend this resort for your next vacation!!

The main pool was huge and very nice, gets pretty upbeat in the afternoon. There are 2 quieter pools, if the main isn't your scene. The rooms were nice and clean, with everything you could want during your stay. The dining options were great, never had a bad a meal. Not a buffet person so i can't speak to their buffet options. The staff were all extremely attentive and nice. This is our second time at this resort and we will definately return.

This was our third visit to the VIRM; one of our favorite places. If you’re looking for a low key, resort and not a party resort, this is your spot. Food is amazing and they serve top shelf liquor. Staff of SUPER attentive to all your needs.

Valentin Imperial was AMAZING! Everyone we met there said it was at least their second time at this resort and wouldn't go anywhere else. We agree! I'm not the type to visit a place twice, I'd rather go somewhere new, but I would definitely go back and hope to!
