We went to celebrate a birthday and had a great time! Left cold snowy weather for beautiful warm weather! The food service and staff was excellent!! Will come back and tell friends how great experience was!
Very private and picturesque. Staff is incredible and very accommodating. Hardest choice is Pool or Beach.
This was our fourth year back to Valentine and we loved it as usual. The staff is always incredible the food scrumptious and the accommodations luxurious
Great stay, highly recommend due to CLEAN Facilities, FRIENDLY Staff, variety of restaurants, Pool and Beach Options More suggestion than problem REGULAR shuttles after 6 PM (my wife doesn't walk well) More selection on booze and beer brands Need one more dinner restaurant, for more casual dining A little too much furniture in our room
We have stayed at several all inclusive resorts in Mexico. This so is our favorite so far. The resort was beautiful, made us walk a bit which we liked. The grounds are perfectly manicured and pleasant throughout excellent food quality as well as top shelf liquor even at the pool bars with attentive staff who deliver drinks and even food poolside.
Our trip started with old friends.....and then we made more friends. There's plenty of options to be private or be part of the party. Great accommodations, good food, beautiful grounds, and very nice staff. We'll be going back!
The resort is beautifully landscaped. The best thing I can say is that it felt very comfy. If you want a place to get away, this is the place. The beach was beautiful, You don't feel like you are at a Vegas hotel. It had a certain charm. The staff was very good. The entertainment was pretty good. Good time to come as the weather not too hot. I would and will recommend Valentin to everyone.
We came there as a large group of old friends (8 couples.) lt ended up being a super fun weekend full of excellent service, lots of r and r and great entertainment! Thumbs up to Jose at the ha Cienda who grilled us the most delicious fish and shrimp for lunch everyday with a smile!
We had a magical time at the Valentin Imperial during our six-day stay in mid-January. Although the weather was a little cool and we experienced bursts of rain, we barely noticed while we were at the resort. There are so many activities going on at all times from fitness classes to Spanish lessons and the staff are constantly trying to make sure you have an amazing stay. Also fun live entertainment daily. The housekeeping was fantastic and the resort is very well kept and beautiful even when all the rooms were occupied and of course the food was wonderful. Fantastic experience all around.
Every great review and comment made by anyone that stayed here is true. The attention to every customer related detail was match by the staff's friendliness. Our experience was so comfortable and relaxing, that it cured all the stress from our daily lives back in the US. We have recommended the Valentin to all our family and friends.
Beautiful grounds, excellent service, great restaurants and entertainment
Most everything is wonderful. Keep these things in mind. Aprxly half of the pool beds and most of the beach beds are for reserved Exclusive Guests. Its kind of like; you didn't pay full price so you don't get the nicer places to relax. The Junior Suite bath vanities are tiny with little room to place your toiletries. There were very few clothes hangers and very little drawer space for clothing. A phone call and more hangers were delivered. The dining dress code is a bit much. Men must wear slacks, jeans are ok, no sandals, collared shirts only. Women can wear shorts but must be dressy, no flip flops, dressy sandals only. If women can wear nice shorts why not the men? It is very humid here so shorts would be much more comfortable. The food, the grounds, the staff are all wonderful. You will enjoy your stay with the consideration for the above.
The hotel was excellent, the best food!!! The lobster was probably the best we have had. The drinks flowed freely with very high end liquor. Only two things that can be improved are the water sports activities, the sail boats are run by people that want to sell excursions and they want 100 bucks as a deposit. Every other place we have been they take the room number. That said no one ever kept trying to sell you anything after the first "no"(very nice in Mexico). Be ware of the older lady in the gift shop, I handed her a 10 for a 4 dollar red bull and got 18 pesos back(about a dollar), I said something and she assured me it was right... It wasn't.
Loved our vacation. The resort is beautiful, the service was excellent, the food was the best I have ever had at an all inclusive.
This was our second time here and it was just as amazing as the first! The food is outstanding and the staff treats you like family!
This was our fifth stay at the Valentin Imperial Maya. Our stay was perfect from the moment we arrived until the weekend left the grounds. The grounds at the resort are perfectly cared for by the staff. The entire staff is very welcoming and aims to please. The drinks, the food, the entertainment, all is the best of the best. The Valentin Imperial Maya is perhaps Mexico's best kept secret. The value in the stay is much greater than the cost of the trip.
Amazing vacation experience in all areas (staff, food, drinks, entertainment, beach, pool). Highly recommended!
Nice hotel - big complex with really friendly staff. Quiet at night except in plaza. Enjoyed the free room service and we did tip. Beach at the hotel is great - the waters are calm is there are no storms in the area - life guard on duty until 6pm. We had a great time there. My husband did not like that we had to dress for dinner as there is no buffet option available at night so room service worked well in the evenings he wanted to just chill. He enjoyed the French restaurant though - the food and service was amazing there and everywhere else as well. Recommendations to the hotel would be to have dj and night band play in an air condition area as it was hot, humid with plenty of mosquitos outside in the plaza so we wouldn't stay very long as it was unpleasant. If you do not mind quiet nights and excellent service than this hotel is for you!!!
Staff steals from your room when house keeping comes
Great beach plent of chairs and palapas. Beach service was excellent . Rooms clean. Room service was good. Two days we had to call for hand towels and washcloths. Had to call for bar to be restocked also. Restaurants all very good. Make sure for men to bring pants and closed toe shoes they enforce the rules. Nightly entertainment very upbeat.
