Beautiful beach and very clean resort. I always saw someone cleaning. The resort is right across the street from a shopping mall and located in a private area that feels safe to walk around. Also have two other resorts from RIU in walking distance, that are included with the same bracket.

A special shoutout to Isis from the entertainment team she was an absolute ray of sunshine every single day, always making sure I was well attended to and had everything I needed to enjoy my celebration. The entire staff went above and beyond with their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The rooms and facilities are kept impeccably clean, which made my stay feel comfortable and relaxing from start to finish. Every corner of the resort reflects the pride they take in creating an exceptional guest experience. I loved my time here so much that I’m already planning my next stay. We had a wonderful stay at Riu Playacar. The staff is so helpful and always have a welcoming smile on their faces. Our room was spacious clean and comfortable. One thing to be aware of is there is no elevators in the buildings. We were given a room with 2 flights of stairs but on request they moved us to an easier access room. The beach is beautiful and the pools lovely and clean. Ww enjoyed the sereque, coati and iguanas who are adorable and well cared for. We will be back!

They had a spectacular staff there! Everything about the place was great. Everyone was so friendly, kind and patient. One thing I wish they just would’ve had more of was authentic Spanish food there wasn’t much. Otherwise, all the other food was good.

We have one of the room toilet flooded and water flowing out almost to the front door. So phone receptionist. Someone came just before 11pm. Unfortunately there’s a do not disturb sign on door, the maid knocked didn’t come in. We got back to room right after the maid left. Then phone back to reception. Maintenance came fixed the toilet but not responsible for cleaning. Then phone again. But this time receptionist said no one to clean till morning. Very disappointed also mentioned to give us towels to clean ourselves except not enough because they ran out of towels. So instead the hotel got us one room just for one night and there’s cockroach in the washroom. It’s disappointing and unacceptable the staff has the courage to have guess clean the mess.

Nice spacious rooms, excellent customer service. Food was decent but not bad for a all inclusive resort, lots of options every single day. The beach was beautiful. Drinks were good, I will definitely be back!
