The staff really made this a great experience. They provided great service and made my family and I feel like VIPs. That said, I do encourage caution for people who have mobility issues. The main buffet area has a ramp to go to the dining tables, but the primary way to be able to access the food is using stairs. Noticing that made me notice that the doors on the bathrooms across from the cafe are round knobs that could be hard for people to push open. None of these were deal breakers for us, but I do think people with mobility issues may want to be intentional about requesting rooms closer to elevators and create a plan that lets them maximize eating in places that are more accessible.

Older property and during our stay the beach was unswimable because of sargassum. Not the hotels fault but was a bummer. Pools are great. Love all the food options and food was really good in many of the restaurants. I expected better service. Hostesses were not always friendly and some servers were the same. It was hit or miss. A giant ceiling tile fell in the lobby right in front us when we were walking in one evening. Thankfully no one was hurt but the ceiling is about three stories high and it could have been a horrible accident. Overall it was a good stay but not sure we would revisit.

We liked everything but the wrist band we had to wear. All the street vendors from downtown Cancun to Isla Mujeres knew what hotel we were staying at and were using as a ploy to start a conversation and to set their prices on what they were selling

Resort pros: poolside service from Abraham and Elizabeth, lobby service from Isabel, large room, nice views Resort cons: restaurant reservations process. Can’t get into any of the restaurants at a decent dinner time. How can it be upon the moment of arrival only 6 pm and 9 pm are available. Ridiculous process! And to top it off when you walk by no one is in the restaurants. Seems the resort doesn’t want you to dine. The pool DJ needs to play more than the same 5 songs. Everyday the same 5 songs. Ugh! Lack of beach. And for what they did have poor upkeep. My advice travelers pick another resort. There are so many without restaurant “rules”!

As ALWAYS ... the hospitality of the Mexican people is what makes us continue to return. The food was v good. 4 stars 🌟 vs 5 stars 🌟 is due to the fact that i don't feel the resort is very handicapped friendly. Lots of stairs and steep ramps to the pool area. Husband fell on the steps in the room from the bed area to the seating area. Was given a wheelchair to use free of charge but as i stated ... difficult to negotiate ramps and stairs throughout the resort.
