The property itself was quite run down and did not meet expectations. While staff indicated they could accommodate a gluten-free member of our party, the options were extremely limited and disappointing. Communication was impossible. They could not even eat a plain hamburger as they put wheat in it. WHY? They are very uneducated on celiac disease and not real helpful.
There was also a noticeable sewage odor throughout the property, which negatively impacted the overall experience. It’s unfortunate, as the location and views are absolutely stunning and truly the highlight of the stay.
Entertainment was minimal we only saw three shows during our seven-day visit and the atmosphere seemed geared more toward a younger crowd. The food quality was inconsistent; if we arrived later for meals, the options often appeared dried out and unappealing.
Overall, despite the beautiful setting, I would not choose to stay here again.
