Staff was good but the resort was not. Beach is VERY rough with waves and the swimming area is very small. Pools are ice cold and should be heated. Food was decent but the reservation system is TERRIBLE. Reservations for restaurants open online at 0800am but if you have not made a reservation by 0805, then you are not getting one. Buffet is your only option and it’s not great. Overall value was horrible given the very expensive price for a converted hotel.

Mini fridge wasn’t full at check-in, couldn’t make reservations for the first two days do to capacity issues at the hotel, was told we could eat breakfast at any restaurant from 7-11. On day 3 we went to the sane restaurant to eat breakfast and was told we could only eat there if we bought into their time share. The pool was always out of towels and the buffet ran out of food quickly as well. And every time I went to the front desk all I got was we see at capacity

- More than an hour delay just to check in. Limited staff to check in. - Had booking for two rooms for a family. Two room were given on two different floors when there were adjoining rooms available. Highly mismanaged. - Biggest set back - food served is horrible. Meat does not taste like real meat (and many families are saying the same). Large lines every day for food. - Daughter got food infection and threw up the whole day. Paid to a on-site Physician to prescribe her medications. - Cut short our trip from 5 days to 4 and took extra travel expenses to travel back home.

Resort is old and outdated, rooms need major upgrades, restaurants reservation system did not work, actually a lot of things didn’t work or function properly. Need nicer and more bilingual staff members. Common areas like hallways needs major attention. Became boring after day 2 for my very mature preteen, resort is geared for child 8 and younger maybe 9. Everything just sucked across the board honestly.

I wouldn’t stay here again. I stayed for 5 days checking out today. Food is bland and not many options. You have to reserve for the restaurants at 8:00am and if your lucky you’ll get a table at 8-9pm. The best food was at the Mexican restaurant. They also run out of towels all the time. You have to be watching the towel Area often to get towels before they run out. Leonardo at the pool Bar was rude and wouldn’t even look at you in the eyes. My bed was also broken. Pros: kids water area is very nice. Bartender in the beach area was very nice. I would rate this hotel 6/10
