Nice property, very well located.

For the smokers terrible. Two places to smokers and not shade or sitting. Also not smoke in the balcony ($500 if you do) of your room. Other than that beautiful 😍 and 💯 recommend 👌.

A 4.5 star resort. Quality food. However the very small and narrow beach was crowded by cabanas rented fir $150. So those of us who do not want a cabana had to look at the cabanas set right in the beach, instead of looking at the water. The only reason to go to a Cancun resort is to enjoy the beach. Very disappointing; we are paying customers and expect to enjoy the beach and not be treated like second-class citizens. I can afford a cabana, but that takes away from the beach experience- give me the beach! The DJ was annoying at times. He needs to give people a break periodically. He is too loud and gets annoying.

We have no words to mention about this resort Hyatt ziva….excellent and extra ordinary service…5 stars for them….I don’t think so any other resort can provide this type of hospitality they provide…only thing I didn’t like is their tours and excursions spot (discova) in their facility. They are fraud as they will promise you something and never fulfill it.. they cheat customers please don’t book with them please I request..book from local excursions outside resort.. specially there is guy who works with them, his name is Abram or Abraham.

Very nice resort, only tried a few restaurants but the food was really good, staff was very friendly. Very clean and safe. Nice pools and beaches. Had a dolphin view room which was neat to watch their practices and shows in the mornings. I’d say our only complaint is the up charge of certain foods and amenities and sometimes not told there is an extra fee. For example if you wanted a steak or lobster it was at least an extra $100. I get that those are nice meals but I’ve also been to resorts that were the same price to stay and it was included. Also certain dinners were a minimum of $400 that you had to spend in order to have the dinner, which was some thing that a couple in our group got roped into. We did do the spa one day (which was very nice) but got charged for the oil without even being told that that was not included in the $300 per person massage. All in all the resort was very nice, I just feel that I’ve been to similar priced resorts that were just as nice, if not nicer and didn’t try to trick you out of more money once you were there.

This property is very beautiful. The hotel itself is very clean. Hyatt Ziva has two different beaches. Both very nice. The pools are also clean. There is a lot of food and entertainment all day. The food is very delicious everywhere you go. The drinks are also very good! All of their syrups are natural and made in house. That is a huge plus! We would like give a big thanks to Jonathan, the mixologist. He was so nice to us and awesome at his craft. His drink recipes are so innovative and delicious. His classes on mixology and mezcal/ tequila tastings are a must do. Also a huge thanks to Genaro the sommelier. He truly know his wines and gives great recommendations. His wine tasting class was very informative. A waitress that went beyond our expectations was from French restaurant. Viviana made great dinner recommendations and always treated us so special. Pablo from Tradewinds also made our dinner so special. He really took his time to serve us well. Martin from concierge was also very friendly and helpful. The personnel from the coffee shop were always so nice and happy every morning and were great at getting everyone's coffee orders just right. Chef Osvaldo from La Bastille made us a special dinner and dessert for our last night. Delicious of course! Lastly, the bartenders Omar, Raul, and Manuel from Juana’s Margaritas were also really good at making delicious and refreshing drinks, again with all natural ingredients thanks to Jonathan’s recipes.

We wrote in previous comments the good things. Now for the really bad. We paid for premium rooms that were not issued to us. We substituted with nice rooms but not the amenities we paid a lot for. We were very disappointed with this situation. We were not offered any compensation or upgrades due to this mishap which was a $3,000 or more loss.

What's not to love, staff is amazing and rooms are clean. There's a show every night plenty of places to eat, walking distance to coco bongo.

Hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. Property is very well maintained.

Always an amazing time at Ziva Cancun! The friendly staff make the experience over the top. The. Best. Place. Ever.
