The room was decent, but not fully cleaned. The table had sticky spills and water rings all over it. So didn't give much confidence on the quality of how everything else was cleaned. Our check in experience was horrible. We booked 4 rooms, one of the rooms had 3 people and we were supposed to have 2 queens. They gave us a king size bed and said they would bring a rollaway bed for the night because they didn't have the right room available. We checked in around 4pm, went back to front desk around 11pm to ask if anything had opened up with a room for 2 beds and the lady at the front counter was beyond rude and said when booking with Expedia you don't get a guarantee what type of bed you get?! We still had to address the rollaway not being delivered since that was the only option and it was almost midnight. The guy at this point we were talking to, again rude, said they were working on it. I said I wanted an actual time since it was so late and he said 20 minutes. They finally delivered the bed, no sheets, blankets or pillows! The next day we tried to book dinner reservation for 2 evenings and the lady said nothing was available. Jesus, our Expedia point of contact, got us in the right room with 2 actual beds and had us dinner reservations booked in a matter of minutes. If we could rate specific staff members we would give Jesus all the 5 stars, he was absolutely wonderful and helped make the mess of this stay as pleasant as he could but we will never return to the property!

We had a fantastic experience during our stay at Moon Palace Cancun. The resort was beautiful, the service was excellent, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and attentive. From the food to the amenities, everything contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. It was awesome for our end-of-year family vacation. Well maintained rooms and overall hotel accommodations. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great all‑inclusive getaway!

The property was very crowded and it took long to get the services we ordered. Secondly it was very hard to get reservations in the restaurants.

- Too much marketing push: hotel need to stop marketing and avoid customers time. - resort credit has no meaning - since we really can’t use it without paying additional money and use of resort credits are very limited to only small irrelevant items/ activities. - stop marketing oust during check in / check out and waste our time. We are at Moon resort to have a good time and not waste our time listening to your marketing pitch.

Didn't get any reservations in the restaurants throughout the stay. Hotel staff inlu trying to upsell promotions. Lack of courtesy considering this is a hospitality industry..Will travel to Cancun in future but never to MoonPalace again

Great views, the balcony with the hammock looking into both lush and deep greenery while also looking over at the beautiful Caribbean Sea is a true pleasure. Service is fast. The ambiance extraordinary!!

Yes, we r not able to check-in to almost one hour due to wristbands key issue without any help Room so small and mosquitos inside room. All dinner reservations just booking morning itself very difficult to get for asian vegetarian restaurants

Very bad experience!! Will not go back to this place!! Food is very poor. Staff is rude and unfriendly. No space at the summing pool. The rooms very small and we reserved room for 6 and we found out it’s 2 rooms just door in between. Bathtub inside the room next to the beads .

Three different resort located in vast region makes it difficult to move around as you have to rely on golf card/Bus service. The amenities/entertainment options are there but you can't get to use them unless you book 2-3 days in advance. Same applies for many resturants as you only reservations are allowed. Room service takes 1-1.5 hours and couple of times they didn't ever deliver even after couple of phone calls to front desk. Very lengthy check-in and check-out process.
