Great place to take family

I travel to all inclusive resort quite a bit. This place upon arrival is nice the general areas are very nice. Laid out pretty well on a very large resort you can get to most places quick. The resort wasn’t overly packed between the beach and pool there is alot of space. The resort is old the rooms and floor are dated and need renovation. I’ll leave it at that we did have problems with ac l, drainage, size of shower toilet which were right on top of one another. Mind you we did upgrade both rooms to deluxe ocean view not sure if that means much. The food was terrible there are options for restaurants but the food is presented well but the flavors and taste are just terrible. The Italian was bland and not the right taste as the US and the hibachi was just ok. The buffet has so many options and presented very well but again the food wasn’t great. The drink pretty standard well liquor and all the same drinks you would find elsewhere. The staff mostly friendly some not if you didn’t tip. Poolside servers you barely see. You are lucky if they come once and hour. I sat in a few different locations but again since it’s laid out nice I could go to one of 3 bars so no issue for me. Resort went green which I agree with so no place cups, steams or bottled water if that matters to you. The filtered water was fine tasting. I reserved on orbits and at the resort I was charged as their ages are different rates when I actually did input ages at reservations. Not my problem it should be thei

Rouches in the lobby, rude stuff ( not everyone of course ) will not ever ever go back….

Internet went out when I was in middle if important meeting!! Room Telephone went out & repair man wanted to look at it at 9 pm! Coffee machine was broken! Maid didn’t clean room good on weekend!many other things also. Food was terrible for a 5 star rating. We walked out of the Italian Restaurant after a few bites.

The room at the Hotel needs some TLC but still gorgeous and breathtaking scenery. Staff is so nice and welcoming. Great for little kids. My son loves the start camp. I stay at a villa and thirds floor room with kids was hard to get around with strollers since the villas don’t have an elevator. Need more food options too. My feet hurt by the end of the day from walking so much. Over all we love it here and probably will be back.

As soonest we got there the sales pressure was terrible. They have very good sales people that had me convince about their business, however after few hours that I was able to process that was not what I needed they charged me $130 for “BIP” services that we didn’t received. They are professional thieves. We complain about the bathroom sink being plugged in they never fixed it. However, the sales pressure ruined my vacation.

Very nice and clean and everyone was so nice

The best part of this property are the amazing people who work here. The rooms are huge and luxurious on the Coral side. The pool is perfect and the beach is great! Having the sand bar in the ocean now makes it so easy to go for a dip!

The food was not good. Did not like the reservation requirement. The mixed drinks were watered down. The was very friendly but could use more bartenders.

The property looked great and the staff was excellent. The buffet was what I expected not great. The Italian restaurant which takes reservation but is included was probably the best food, It was very good. The hibachi steakhouse which also takes reservations was also good. The American bistro was OK it was better than the buffet. All the bars were great and the staff was excellent. We had a double room 2 double beds it was very clean and modern. Local shopping: you had to get on a bus at the bus stop down at the end of the driveway so it was easy to get too and it was just a 5 minute drive to the 1st shopping area and a 10 minute drive to the 2nd shopping area $1 bus ride one way. The bus ride did look and feel safe. We went during spring break and did not have trouble finding lounge chairs on the beach, the pool was more packed but still was able to find chairs.

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past 10 years. OVER DUE for some work and upgrades. Walls were worn rooms looked run down and old. Chairs by pool were gross, stained and torn. No longer wait staff pool side. Very disappointing. This hotel rating is too high. It needs to be adjusted to 3.8.

The beach and pool area are very nice. However, the pool was fairly cold and the hot tub was barely Luke warm. Inside the property was another story. Elevators were extremely slow, so we opted to take the stairs. Rooms are very noisy and we had screaming children next to us, waking us up every morning. The entire hotel is very tired and dated and did not feel clean and fresh. We were supposed to get a $200 dollar credit per room from booking through Orbitz. They did give us some coupons, but most were not able to be redeemed. Prices in the store were excessive. We paid $12 for a Red Bull and over $30 for sunscreen. Even though this was an “all inclusive”, we tried to order room service and they would not give us a glass of wine or beer for the fridge. When we checked out, we had to pay an extreme amount of money for additional charges and admission to the “free” nightly entertainment.
