I liked that the property was in walking distance to downtown where the clubs and restaurants are located. I have stayed at many Riu properties and the food at the Riu Cancun was better than most. The entertainment was enjoyable and the staff were friendly. The beach had little seaweed because the staff were cleaning it daily. I would go back again.

It was what we paid for. Nothing was terrible. More options and variety of places for lunch are needed. Very loud drunk people often. Javier at the pool bar was amazing

I like the beach, it was beautiful the nature it is. The food was okay but not special. The first day, when I entered the room, I smelt strong fresh paint and it makes uncomfortable. I open the door and patio door and it gets better next day. The room was noisy and I could hear the shouting sound from next room. I like the weather and the beach

My trip to Cancun was definitely memorable. The hotel was super clean, staff was friendly, and I loved being greeted with champagne when we got there. The resort itself felt pretty small and didn’t have as much to do compared to other Cancun resorts I’ve been to, but the ocean views were beautiful. Breakfast was really good, but the dinner buffet was honestly not great, the Italian restaurant I did enjoy. Drinks were just okay, nothing special. We had fun going to the RIU Caribe parties, and the free shuttle made it easy. The only big downside was when we asked for new sheets we waited a while, called again, and the guy on the phone was kind of rude about it. Overall, it was a nice trip but I don’t think I’d stay here again I’d probably go with RIU Caribe next time.

You don't need to leave the property. Pools, ocean, food options and non stop entertainment. Airport to Resort made it worry free.

Was not a good experience starting from a moldy rooms to the food mediocre, drinks cheap! not enough dining selection....very disappointed.
