It’s was centered close to everything, staff was great

This is my third stay in the past few years at this La Quinta and I plan to return in the future. The breakfast is great, the rooms are clean, the location is ideal for traveling to the beach or further south into the Riviera Maya, and the staff are helpful and address any concerns immediately. The A/C in my room stopped working but was fixed within 15 minutes of telling the front desk.

The hotel is clean, quiet, and close to the bus station, grocery stores and hospitals. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

Went to Cancun for business, hotel's locación is just perfect

Hotel was good - clean room. However, the service was not very good. The air conditioner stopped working the first night. The hotel staff didn't do anything to help. Also, multiple requests to the front desk for small stuff like towel, cups were ignored.

The staff was VARY NAISE. Though the room next door was noisy for multiple days, that problem was solved. The room was VARY NAISE as well.

Rooms were really nice an clean. I can't wait to go back soon. And br3akfast was so good. I reallyb recommend this hotel.

Most things about this hotel are good. Breakfast is great, rooms are comfy and clean. Due to location the pool is dirty (air born debris from the construction next door), view is bad...I was ok with this and knew what I was getting. But, the door guy and reception will lie to you about the bus lines to try to get you to take one of the cabs that they have on standbye. Not only will these cabs over charge you...they do not take you were you ask. My guess is they are trying to get you to got places that are in on the scam. It was so bad that the one time (I thought the first time was a fluke so they got me twice) the door guy told my friend we were visiting (he is from Puebla) that there were no buses to take you to Playa Delfines (lie) and that we needed to take a cab. Cab driver told us the Playa Delfine was not nice and cost money (both lies). There is no way that the hotel management is unaware of this. If you need to stay here, you can do so and have a nice stay. Just don't trust staff and do not ask them questions. Do your own research. We managed to get great and cheap cabs by walking about 2 blocks down. We found that there are a lot of great and helpful people in Cancun...just not at the hotel.

Javier at the reception was excellent and very helpful. The lady who works as the security outside was awesome with helping me and my mom to get a taxi and she even helped to negotiate the taxi fare for me. The lady at the breakfast podium was also very helpful and the restaurant manager was superb.

The hotel seems new. The staff is very friendly, kind, and helpful. The location is near the bus stop to go to hotel zone. My favorite thing was breakfast buffet. There was a variety of food. It seems like a brunche. And everyday was different. There are restaurants around and few blocks to the mall. I took the tour to Chichén Itzá and Manuel from the counter helped me schedule the tour. The price was good. My family and I were satisfied with the tour. I hightly recommend this hotel.

Haier at the front desk was amazing , although we did not get the room we reserved he was quick to offer us a credit at the restaurant. The room was still good we had reserved a 1 bed rm and got a deluxe king instead.

Stayed at the LQ by LaQuinta for four nights in March of 2017. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. No issues with a language barrier which is a plus for me as I continue to struggle with conversational Spanish. Free breakfast was provided with the package I purchased via Orbitz. Lots to choose from including fresh fruit, good coffee and traditional Mexican fare. Very tasty. Room was comfortable. Balconies on the 5th floor level are NOT PRIVATE. You might be able to get a private balcony on the 6th floor. Floors 1 through 4 do not offer a balcony. Lots of local flavor within a 5 minute walk of the lobby. The Japanese option next door Irori was exceptional.

Closed to Downtown Cancun. You can go everywhere. Nearby has a big Mall, restaurants

A nice choice for those not interested in a hotel zone AI. Bus transportation to the many hotel zone beaches is a breeze; its about a 2 block walk to the stop to get a R1 or R2. We never waited more than 5 min. for one, they're cheap and you can usually flag them down like a cab.
