Booked for a Birthday. Front desk check in told me I booked through Travel Agency. I was not able get a King size bed room. I had to repeat a few times to hotel staff because I was not able to communicate with them. Room TV did not work for 2 days (missed my Game) and room freeze stay Locked. I was not able to use room freeze because I did not purchase Minibar package. Pool bar was still serving liquors to Drunken man because they can bill them. Bartender should be Arrested. Someone may pass out at the Bar.

Positive: calm clear no rocks and waves at beach. Room is modern and clean a/c cold. Not a a party hotel at all but completely relaxing. Cons: walk to beach from hotel is long, food choices are limited at the hotel

I was there with my mother, she is 80 years old and they gave us one room with one bed. That was very uncomfortable but the receptionist said he will assign another room next day because was no rooms available at the moment. That never happened I was there 5 days sleeping with my mom in the same bef and the y never say anything about it. Very unpleasant situation. The receptionist just say sorry at the end.

Hotel was very nice. The room was very clean and the sheets and towels were always white and clean unlike some other hotels we've stayed in. Didn't get the king size bed we requested, maybe next time. Navila was awesome in accommodated us for our room. The desk staff needs work on aiding customers when we approach the desk. Was dissatisfied about enrolling in free reward program and was overlooked by 2 and Yvonne apologized and said she would correct the issue in which we are still waiting to see that in our emails. Other than that, the hotel, the food, the room service was excellent. Next time, will get ocean view. Very lovely hotel!!!

My partner and I traveled to Cancun for the first time from July 27 through the 30th. We looked at the pictures of the hotel, and it looked nice, plus most of the reviews were amazing so we decided to go there. We loved the hotel so much! Everything about the hotel is so perfect. The rooms are super comfortable, the pool is beautiful (the pics dont to it justice). The beach is wow - gorgeous. We had dinner at the beach one of the nights, and it was the most romantic thing I have ever done in my life. They had two people singing and playing the guitar, the sunset was beautiful, and there was a boat passing by throwing fireworks... it just could not get any more perfect! I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. We loved everything about it. The only two negative things I would say if I had to say anything is that they charge $25 dollars per person for a buffet breakfast as breakfast is not included, and that there is an agency inside of the hotel for people to exchange dollars for mexican pesos. Well, in order for these people to do the transaction, they ask for way too much personal information, they scan your passport and ask for you address back at home. We did not feel comfortable with that, and decided to go to the gas station across the street in the corner and just did it there. I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERYONE! YOU WON'T REGRET GOING!

The hotel has a beautiful outdoor area and the wait staff is excellent they even remember your name throughout your stay! My only issue was with my room the bathroom door was impossible to open and close and the drains in sink and shower filled up with water every time you used them.

We have no complaints during our stay. Not overcrowded, and always a spot on the beach and poolside. Food was great and reasonably priced. Perfect place to stay for our family vacation!!

Just got back from another great stay at the Intercontinental Presidente Cancun! Is by far the best place to stay in Cancun -- best service and staff, best beach in Cancun, most relaxing and peaceful place. The waiter Bernardo on the beach was the best -- always so nice friendly and quick to bring us food and drinks. Just as nice was Samuel in the Club Room in the evening. Was also so great to again work with Adolofo, the head concierge on making everything perfect for the trip. Cannot wait to go back!

Great hotel in an excellent location, mattresses quite soft, didn't get the rooms we booked, noisy at the front of the hotel

My wife and I truly enjoyed this resort, though we experienced some negatives also. The location and the grounds are wonderful. We love the pools and beach. The other guests are quiet and relaxed. It was never crowded around the pool or beach or restaurants. Our room was large, and we had a comfortable bed. The furnishings are fine. We thought it was peculiar that the shower had no door, so water did flood out to the floor. We used an extra towel to mop up the puddle. The lobby was fine and classy, too. Our few complaints are these: The staff did the basic, expected things to treat us well, but they did not provide that extra touch that sets apart an upper-crust hotel from the mediocre. First, at check-in, we were not truly welcomed. Instead, the snooty desk clerk couldn't find our reservation and bit her lip and looked down her nose at us, as if did not belong. I finally handed her my printed confirmation, and she offered a belated "welcome." My confirmation said "king bed," and she didn't give us one. I had to ask for it, and she, again, held her breath, turned silent, and disappeared into her computer screen. Reluctantly, she was able to find us a room to match my reservation. Second, my wife and I both like two cups of coffee in the morning. They provided one Nespresso pod each. We called to ask for more pods. (How expensive could that be to give us two more pods?) They took 1 hour bringing it to us. Generally, we were a couple without kids. A personal touch is possible.

We vacation at the Presidente every few months for 10 days. We have been going to the Presidente exclusively for about 12 years. Have been coming to cancun for 37 years. The Presidente is on by far the best beach with the best clear, calm water in all of Cancun. The Resort is very well run and up to date. The rooms and suites are very nice and the entire Resort is kept immaculate. The three Resort restaurants are very good as is the beverage service. The entire staff at all levels are very friendly and helpful. There is city bus service from in front of the Resort, which is useful and very inexpensive. Resort on-site management and concierge are very accommodating.

Amazing experience from beginning to the end. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. The room had a great view of the pools and the ocean. Would definitely recommend the breakfast buffet as an option.

Enjoyed our stay. The beach is lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was terrific with plenty of variety. Our only disappointment was the first room we were offered. We had paid for an upgrade to a 'Lagoon and Ocean View Room". The room offered was on the 4th floor and had a view of a very busy 4-lane highway, a Subway sandwich shop among other stores, and a stretch of water way in the distance. Only from a window at the end of the corridor could the ocean be seen as it joined the lagoon. The hotel website description felt misleading to us. The room itself looked very comfortable but we decided to pay another upgrade to an ocean view room.

Quiet, restful, no entertainment, plenty of seafood and Mexican meals, good security, very friendly & helpful staff, local bus service can be accessed in front of resort.

food and service at the restaurant left a lot to be desired. The food was not well prepared and the service was slow. Thai chicken had black pepper and regular milk in it with no hint of a Thai flavor. The apple pie was burnt and the service was very slow. The chef tried to make it right by not charging for the dinner and promising to do better next time.

Great hotel located on waveless turquoise Caribbean beach. Luxury beach front room was modern, spacious and had amazingly comfortable King size bed with a full view of this gorgeous beach. Hotel facilities were clean and staff extremely nice.

Everything cost from the water to loosing the room key 35.00 dollars for every card giving to you. You can't keep em or misplaced them.

I would highly recommend this hotel for those who is most important a beach area. I have been to Cancun many times and this beach is by far one of the best. Most hotels beach along this area either have rocks, seaweed or no beach. The staff is very friendly and professional. The room always very clean with excellent views of the ocean or lake. I will effeminately be back soon.

This was our second stay. We liked our Deluxe Lagoon View room better the first time. We upgraded to an Ocean front room on this trip, but our room was remarkably smaller. The view was amazing though. This hotel boasts the best beach in Cancun because it is!

Everything is nice but one of the things I didn't like was that they charge the wifi. I recommend you to buy the breakfast included because is cheaper like that also is very convenient.
