DO NOT, BY ANY MEANS, BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! Pros: Pool area is great, the beach beautiful if not for the sargassum. Kid-friendly, decent nightly entertainment. The rest of the experience was BEYOND disappointing. -Check-in was a nightmare: slow, rude, unaccomodating staff that hate their job. The supervisor was the worst! Their policy - NO group check-ins (i.e. two separate rooms under same reservation). They are to be done room by room. I helped my mom check in, then made ME get back in a long line to check in. - Property is outdated and not well-maintained. Common areas smelled bad, mostly around the pool bars. -There were roaches in our rooms. -Only two elevators for a large building, one was broken half the time. The other made clanking sounds and stalled often on the 4th floor. Took forever to get to our rooms. -AC issues = multiple room changes. - The food was average. - The staff is dismissive and careless. They appear to, and behave as if they are overworked and underpaid. We asked about their poor attitude and one staffer confided that they are forced to work double shifts w/out additional compensation. If they don't comply, they are threatened with termination. After hearing this, we were more understanding. Now we blame mangement 100%. - Not ALL-inclusive. - Inaccurate restaurant hrs listed on the app. The resort doesn't care about this review, they already got our money... This is review is for you, the consumer. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

The hotel sucked. The food was terrible no seasoning I had to order food every day the drinks suck. The staff are really rude. there is rats. overall, the worst experience ever the hotel was extremely expensive. There was no food that tastes correct no drinks that taste good to get good liquor. You have to pay you have to pay for almost all the restaurants.

Good property layout. Good entertainment. Nice refreshments in the lobby. Not friendly staff largely. Not good customer service. Wouldn't check my laptop bag - so no beach time waiting on my room for 3hrs. Luisa ignored us waiting in the lobby even tho our room was ready. No room choice offered when asked. Food was 6 out of 10, which is below similar resorts at an 8. You have to pay $9 a day for a safe. All movie channels are in Spanish, only 2 news channels in English. Very few Americans or Europeans. Requested water and repairs 4 times before received. Room was nothing special or Mexican atmosphere, just plain. Dialed 0 but kept getting wrong department. Was informed taxi is $25 into Cancun but they jacked me $35 in front (so wrong). Food was almost the same EVERY day, no themes or changes or even much variety... mostly Mexican plates - not intercontinental. No blenders at most pool bars... so had to go to several, wasting a lot of time. Pool ice cream closed the whole week. Beach had that plant wash-up and they don't clean it up. No pancakes or french toast made upon open, so had to wait. They lied about the travel time, which was a 5hr round trip and not 2hrs. They switched my cabana number without asking, so we ended up without one (very bad surprise). Had to wait almost an hour to resolve this matter on my last day (messed up). Served bacon with breakfast only 1 out of 7 mornings (unreal). Aged with several room maintenance issues they could have fixed first.

The staff was very attentive and made me and my family feel welcomed. Everything wasn't "All Inclusive" it had different levels, something Expedia didnt explain. We were suckered in a 90 mins presentation but we did get tickets to Captain Hook ship dinner. The pools were hot, the rooms need some serious remodeling. Couldnt sleep with construction going on every morning and staff just walking in the room to clean. The saddest this i have ever experienced was paying ao much for the all inclusive resort, not being able to visit everything the resort had to offer and No Room Service!! This was my last visit to Mexico.
