Grand Oasis Cancun All Inclusive

The room flooded and it took a whole day to get me moved to another room. Ruined my plans for that day. The air conditioning did not work the whole 8 days there called them several times to fix it but they never did. The food was mediocre at best and it was pulling teeth getting into any other restaurant on the grounds besides the buffets. This was annoying. The drinks served at the bars where watered down and they all close down early. This was the WORST experience at a hotel in anywhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would rather stay at a motel 6 than staying at the grand oasis Cancun the check in process took forever and wasted half of my afternoon. The shows are cheesy. Very disappointed.

Beautiful hotel , customer service is excellent, very welcoming and so much variety in food , drinks , and things to do! Love this hotel

This was my second stay here. As long as you set your expectations accordingly, you'll have a good time. Problems this trip: was supposed to get a room with 2 beds. Only got a room with 1 bed. My friend had to sleep on a roll away. They upgraded our package for the inconvenience. The food is always just ok here. The Bahia rodizzio steakhouse was the best place to eat but at least an hour wait to get in. The biggest problem was the other guests. Tons of early 20 something partiers. There wasn't a single night that we weren't woke up by yelling and beating in doors. Even at 35, I felt old staying here. Parties all night every night. Best: this resort is a good value. Lots of bars and restaurants. Excellent location, 5 min. bus ride to downtown. Amazing beach and perfect water. Excellent pools.

The rooms were not properly maintained. They were clean, but things did not work well. I had to have the maintenance crew fix our AC and it was still so hot. It never got cool enough to be fully comfortable with the temperature. However, there are many many different things to do at the hotel. The food for vegetarians was about average, but if you're not a vegetarian, there are many options. The entertainment at the hotel was great as there are many different shows and events going on every night.

Terrible, you can't sleep at night due to noise and drunk people

Grand oasis is a great hotel for people from 18yrs-45. It has a lot of party life so if you are looking just for party but not comfort this is the hotel. If you like to enjoy comfort and luxor, good food, great customer service and clean rooms this is NOT the hotel. Food is the same for breakfast and is mostly buffets (cheap food). our room had little bit of animals every where cockroaches not fun at all. Also, I would take my kids to this hotel, there is drunk and drugged people everywhere.

I'll keep this short. If you don't care about check in taking 3 hours, rude customer service, the absolute worst food I've ever had in my life (literally ate wings from a place right by the pool the whole trip), woke up to a roach crawling on my bed, you can't control the air in your room and you will hear partying thought all hours of the night from your room. If none of those things bother you then absolutely stay here. I went there to party but I just couldn't believe how bad the food was. Idk if it has any correlation but the last day there I got the flu.

This hotel was really beautiful and offered a lot of different restaurants and bars. however we went during spring break and took our children with us. There was actually a girl taking shots and puking in the restaurant! it was definitely out of control would not recommend going during spring break unless you are a college kid!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. I recommend getting the Grand plus package that gave us a nice view of the beach, all inclusive deal, free internet. Restaurants are excellent. Tatish & Tunkul buffet restaurant, steak house, Sarape, Ibiza, etc. has great service and food. Swimming pool and beach access are very accessible. Nice relaxing vacation. Thanks Grand Oasis!!!!! We will come back again in the near future.

Very fun atmosphere! EXTREMELY stringent on bottled water. Our fridge did not work either. Beautiful facilities!

We were lucky to have a the most gorgeous ocean front view as part of our plus package, even a suite couldn't make up for the roaring sound of the ocean and beautiful sunrise! Booked this trip during Spring Break and was in awe at how clean and orderly the resort was kept. As with any all inclusive the food was very mediocre, recommend the Mexican restaurant (Hacienda, I think) besides the breakfast buffet, best place to eat! Overall, excellent experience would definitely recommend:)

We booked this trip through Orbitz as the "Grand Oasis All Inclusive," not knowing that there are 5 different categories of "all inclusive" packages. Somehow we ended up as Grand Oasis Plus which is a mid-tier package. We had friends end up as Oasis Lite which includes less than 25% of the resort restaurants and amenities. Ours had about 80%. Overall, we were very happy with what our package included (17 restaurants and 17 bars); there was a lot to do and a good variety of food styles available. However, the distinctions based on what level package you were a part of was very difficult to understand and there were some areas accessible only at certain periods of time. The rules weren't clearly explained however and there was a lot of inconsistency on what each level included depending on who you asked. There was definitely a communication barrier and we were a group that was able to speak a sufficient amount of Spanish. Rooms/facilities were nice with some relatively minor maintenance issues. Overall, a good experience, but not without some confusion!

This resort is very nice but definitely not a family resort. I went in March during spring break and it was almost 90 percent college students.

This hotel overbooked by 300 rooms the week we went. They sent us to a sub par sister hotel a ten minute drive down the road. We did not get a room there for hours because they began to over book that one as well. We paid a lot of money to stay at the specific location of grand oasis cancun with our friends who got there the day before for our senior trip and we only got to see them once. They did not provide sufficient transportation to the other hotel and two of my friends got robbed at gun point trying to get back. They did not care if we were safe at all. All they had to say was oh well sorry. People at the other hotel were not helpful when asking about details of the hotel. We have not received any compensation for the terrible time and service. I would not recommend this hotel during the spring.

IF YOU WANT TO PARTY THIS THE PLACE LOVE THE ENTERTAINMENT STAFF SHOUT OUT TO ZAIRY AND LUIS ALWAYS KEEPING THE PARTY HYPED VERY FRIENDLY STAFF CANT WAIT TO GO BACK HAD A GREAT TIME FOR A GREAT PRICS

The beach is amazing, the staff is really friendly and helpful, the food wasn't great dispite the fact they had so many restaurants, the best place to visit during spring break

This is the second time we stay at grand oasis.. the first time was great so we thought we would go there a second time ... bad idea .. they did not give us the correct bracletes first of all which allows us in to all the restaurants ! We had the grand oasis plus but it still seemed that we got into all the same restaurants as the grand oasis lite .. I could have saved 200$ and then went there ... the water in the room smelled it was always leaking water ... in my friends room he found 3 roaches in there ...and I got sick from the food ! Luckily we still had a fun time but I wish we picked a different resort this time around ! Grand oasis never again !!!

This is an all-inclusive resort that also sells time shares. The level of service you receive depends on your bracelet. Even though you might think that because you booked your package via orbitz or expedia and saved money, you would be relegated to the bottom tier; you actually are one level below time-share owner, so you'll be treated very well. The main check-in lobby is like going to the DMV on a hot day without air conditioning. But if you've booked your stay with orbitz or expedia they have a really nice VIP lobby for you. I wished I had known this upon arriving instead of waiting an hour to check-in.

The hotel was great. The food was awesome and the staff was generally very good only a couple sour apples at the food stand by the pool. The activities were awesome and only a couple draw backs. The first would be that the announcers for the beach party were little obnoxious, but maybe i'm just getting old and the second would be repetitive nature of the music they play daily. Either of those things don't dramatically effect too much and generally great time. The bed was hard, but again my preference is softer. The wifi was great, but the last day before check-out they shut it off which made getting airline ticket and bus ticket little tricky. The resort itself and staff are awesome doing anything they can to make your trip the best it can be. Its definitely a party scene that is put into areas not to affect families which are half of the group. If you want to party and have fun without kids everywhere this might not be the spot, but if you don't mind that this place will be great. I think there at least 8 restaurants, arena which had boxing fights and events, snorkeling, jet ski's, nightly shows, one of the biggest pools if not the biggest in cancun, day beds everywhere, celebrity djs (house dis are decent), massage, trip planners etc. Basically its a little city at the resort. Great place to vaca to and i will probably do it again soon.

I can say it's 5 star hotel,I can say it's 3 star hotel . Depends what u look at . It's like city inside the city . U don't have to go out everything u will find here . It's for crazy young people . But u can change ur bracelets to black which we did and enjoyed 5 star hotels experience. But it's also 3 star hotel ,so some things are not perfect . Stuff is not friendly even if u have black one . Only few restaurants benazuza of course worth black bracelets. Animation team is great u always will have fun !
