Extremely dated and dingy hotel. Poor food selection and not good. Long wait lines for food and drinks. Significantly watered down drinks and very limited cleansing of cups. Pictures of hotel are deceitful.

I like that it had alot of options in the property but i didnt like then some restaurants during the day when kids are at the pool they dont let you take food out. Also coyotes bites food was bad all other resurants are good

I saw a lizard and a roach in my room (1550) but otherwise the facility is away. Please ensure the rooms are insect free. I enjoyed the food, entertainment, the upgrade, and the ambience as I was a solo traveler. I will definitely revisit Grand Oasis Cancun and I highly recommend the facility to friends.

This hotel is great for those who like a party atmosphere. We don't and found it impossible to move our room away from the noise sources, and every associate we spoke with was obviously not empowered to do anything about it. They offered a downgrade with no credit, or an upgrade at full price. It was impossible to sleep in our location. Elevator was malfunctioning while we were there, and the food was ok, depending on where you chose to eat. Some was not appealing. The hotel took five days to tell us they would not refund our money (after being there for 1 day) - by then we had already located to another hotel. Very disappointed.

Overall, my stay at the Grand Oasis Cancun was an enjoyable one, however the room(s) I were assigned left lots to be desired. The first room had no working air and was poorly decorated and did not look very sanitary as if the last guest had just left. The refrigerator in the first room was completely empty (not stocked full as is routine for an all-inclusive resort). The second room had working air and was a bit cleaner, although the decor was horribly outdated and there was no headboard. The rest of the resort was absolutely gorgeous and the staff, outside of the check-in crew, was attentive and very warm in their greeting and in their service. I loved all of the restaurants, pools, shops, and activities on the property. The atmosphere was fun-filled and high energy, yet relaxing and inviting later at night. This resort is scenic and peaceful. I enjoy myself here and would actually return, yet I would book a Pyramid room as I hear they are the modern and nicer rooms.

I stayed on the 6th floor and only one elevator was working, which did not always open on the 6th or 1st floors. It was a little frustrating and time consuming. The pool was extremely hot; the pool water did not cool you from the heat and humidity. I rarely give such a poor rating but I needed to say it.

I felt like I was in a college dorm. Too much walking to get strong the resort. Service was horrible and the employees were rude. Did was not that great. Found food outside the resort. The hotel was also dirty in body parts. There was a lounge we went to and it was dirty.
