Grand Oasis Cancun All Inclusive

My family and I enjoyed our stay. I recommend getting the Grand plus package that gave us a nice view of the beach, all inclusive deal, free internet. Restaurants are excellent. Tatish & Tunkul buffet restaurant, steak house, Sarape, Ibiza, etc. has great service and food. Swimming pool and beach access are very accessible. Nice relaxing vacation. Thanks Grand Oasis!!!!! We will come back again in the near future.

Very fun atmosphere! EXTREMELY stringent on bottled water. Our fridge did not work either. Beautiful facilities!

We were lucky to have a the most gorgeous ocean front view as part of our plus package, even a suite couldn't make up for the roaring sound of the ocean and beautiful sunrise! Booked this trip during Spring Break and was in awe at how clean and orderly the resort was kept. As with any all inclusive the food was very mediocre, recommend the Mexican restaurant (Hacienda, I think) besides the breakfast buffet, best place to eat! Overall, excellent experience would definitely recommend:)

We booked this trip through Orbitz as the "Grand Oasis All Inclusive," not knowing that there are 5 different categories of "all inclusive" packages. Somehow we ended up as Grand Oasis Plus which is a mid-tier package. We had friends end up as Oasis Lite which includes less than 25% of the resort restaurants and amenities. Ours had about 80%. Overall, we were very happy with what our package included (17 restaurants and 17 bars); there was a lot to do and a good variety of food styles available. However, the distinctions based on what level package you were a part of was very difficult to understand and there were some areas accessible only at certain periods of time. The rules weren't clearly explained however and there was a lot of inconsistency on what each level included depending on who you asked. There was definitely a communication barrier and we were a group that was able to speak a sufficient amount of Spanish. Rooms/facilities were nice with some relatively minor maintenance issues. Overall, a good experience, but not without some confusion!

This resort is very nice but definitely not a family resort. I went in March during spring break and it was almost 90 percent college students.

This hotel overbooked by 300 rooms the week we went. They sent us to a sub par sister hotel a ten minute drive down the road. We did not get a room there for hours because they began to over book that one as well. We paid a lot of money to stay at the specific location of grand oasis cancun with our friends who got there the day before for our senior trip and we only got to see them once. They did not provide sufficient transportation to the other hotel and two of my friends got robbed at gun point trying to get back. They did not care if we were safe at all. All they had to say was oh well sorry. People at the other hotel were not helpful when asking about details of the hotel. We have not received any compensation for the terrible time and service. I would not recommend this hotel during the spring.

IF YOU WANT TO PARTY THIS THE PLACE LOVE THE ENTERTAINMENT STAFF SHOUT OUT TO ZAIRY AND LUIS ALWAYS KEEPING THE PARTY HYPED VERY FRIENDLY STAFF CANT WAIT TO GO BACK HAD A GREAT TIME FOR A GREAT PRICS

The beach is amazing, the staff is really friendly and helpful, the food wasn't great dispite the fact they had so many restaurants, the best place to visit during spring break

This is the second time we stay at grand oasis.. the first time was great so we thought we would go there a second time ... bad idea .. they did not give us the correct bracletes first of all which allows us in to all the restaurants ! We had the grand oasis plus but it still seemed that we got into all the same restaurants as the grand oasis lite .. I could have saved 200$ and then went there ... the water in the room smelled it was always leaking water ... in my friends room he found 3 roaches in there ...and I got sick from the food ! Luckily we still had a fun time but I wish we picked a different resort this time around ! Grand oasis never again !!!

This is an all-inclusive resort that also sells time shares. The level of service you receive depends on your bracelet. Even though you might think that because you booked your package via orbitz or expedia and saved money, you would be relegated to the bottom tier; you actually are one level below time-share owner, so you'll be treated very well. The main check-in lobby is like going to the DMV on a hot day without air conditioning. But if you've booked your stay with orbitz or expedia they have a really nice VIP lobby for you. I wished I had known this upon arriving instead of waiting an hour to check-in.

The hotel was great. The food was awesome and the staff was generally very good only a couple sour apples at the food stand by the pool. The activities were awesome and only a couple draw backs. The first would be that the announcers for the beach party were little obnoxious, but maybe i'm just getting old and the second would be repetitive nature of the music they play daily. Either of those things don't dramatically effect too much and generally great time. The bed was hard, but again my preference is softer. The wifi was great, but the last day before check-out they shut it off which made getting airline ticket and bus ticket little tricky. The resort itself and staff are awesome doing anything they can to make your trip the best it can be. Its definitely a party scene that is put into areas not to affect families which are half of the group. If you want to party and have fun without kids everywhere this might not be the spot, but if you don't mind that this place will be great. I think there at least 8 restaurants, arena which had boxing fights and events, snorkeling, jet ski's, nightly shows, one of the biggest pools if not the biggest in cancun, day beds everywhere, celebrity djs (house dis are decent), massage, trip planners etc. Basically its a little city at the resort. Great place to vaca to and i will probably do it again soon.

I can say it's 5 star hotel,I can say it's 3 star hotel . Depends what u look at . It's like city inside the city . U don't have to go out everything u will find here . It's for crazy young people . But u can change ur bracelets to black which we did and enjoyed 5 star hotels experience. But it's also 3 star hotel ,so some things are not perfect . Stuff is not friendly even if u have black one . Only few restaurants benazuza of course worth black bracelets. Animation team is great u always will have fun !

4th time to this spot...this was the worst yet. Party spot, which we love, but liquor is now extreme bottom-shelf and food was the worst it's ever been. DJ/Pool staff were great as always...high energy, but bar staff was pretty grumpy the entire time. Won't be returning which is sad but food/drink are pretty important part of the trip.

this is the worst trip i've ever taken truly horrible service

No comment .... this hotel is not for a quiet vacation.... there is too much repair and things going on.... the bottom floor is flooding All the time

Gorgeous tropical grounds, crystal clear meandering pool, peacocks abound. Beautiful beach front. Constant breeze. Absolutely perfect setting. Music was amazing too. The resort is absolutely picture perfect, pinch me I'm dreaming. I wish there was a snack stand open 24/7 where you could grab and go fruit, health bars, etc. And I believe they should permit reservations as I had to wait outside steak restaurant two hours to get in after having been turned away two nights in a row (only seated 30). It was very good, but 2 hours of my vacation waiting was a waste of precious time. And, for late arrivals the resort should offer a complimentary one night only room service for weary travellers. Our first day we arrived late (9:30 pm). Restaurants close at 10:00...and we were not familiar with grounds. We were turned away from 4 restaurants before we finally found the sports bar after circling lost in the dark grounds for an hour. We hadn't eaten since 6 am, so we were starved and very upset when we couldn't find dining. It was not a good start. It took us a few days to become familiar with the resort and how to get around. Very clean, amazing nightly shows that compare to Cirque du Soleil. I loved their staff. They work incredibly hard, long days and manage to smile. Tip them with American singles. They earn it. We brought $100 in singles. One dollar per person for the buses on the hotel strip which are always available, too. Perfect for mid twenty crowd and party people.

Amazing!! Would definitely go back! Had a great time. Food wasnt great however everything else made up for it

Welcome was ok Food not good at all ! A lot of junk Alcohol cheap Room not clean smell bad a lot of noise !!too many drunks Young people screaming and loud in the middle of the night ! couldn't not sleep ... Staff ok . Overall the resort in good location and nice

Bullet points is how I can fit everything in 1500 characters. No dressers, one luggage caddy for four people - sink leaked excessively on to bathroom floor when in use, no one ever came to fix it after asking them daily - shower glass is not long enough, shower sprays onto floor - you have to ask to have your mini bar restocked, they may or may not do it - housekeeping takes your towels that you used and mopped everything up with, leaves ONE in return - there is no where to hang up the robes, one towel rack - double beds are literally right next to each other like one big bed - "frosted glass" allows you to see the toilet from the entire room - phone was broken, could not dial room service, front desk etc. - chairs are metal with no cushion - room had swamp cooler not AC - they were out of the "free gift" you get when you book a room - room had two small "paintings" randomly hung in the room, otherwise the room has bare walls - safes are old school locks not digital. Take my comments for what they are, some are just observations. I strongly suggest that if you want to stay here that you book through an agent to ensure you get the package you want. When you arrive you will learn there are different levels of all inclusive, the description of the room and packages on here is very deceiving. One thing to note as well is that this is considered the "party" resort. One side of the resort is a non-stop party. Nothing but 20 somethings unable to hold their liquor running around.

You've probably read a thousand bad comments and feel like you should book anyway but dont. This is by far the worse hotel in Cancun. They had water leaking everywhere. I fell down the stairs because of it and they tried to have me sign a paper saying they did everything to help... WRONG!! I had to switch rooms because of all the hair on the beds and floor and lack of ac. Check out was horrendous, running back and forth between the other resort. DO NOT BOOK HERE... You've been warned! Don't say I didn't tell you.
