The AC in the room didn't work. Once the party is over, it's hard to get water. The concierge said to call room service but they wouldn't answer till the next morning. Once they answered, they didn't bring the water till they cleaned the room. Luckily I asked for 6 bottles. From then on out they kept my room stocked with 6-8 bottles. Other than that, it's a really fun resort with a lot of things to do. 3 days was not enough for us.

I found roaches in my room. I called housekeeping to report it but no one came to resolve the issue

My husband and I booked this trip just to relax and get away from the hustle of NYC. Although we enjoyed ourselves (we always do) there were so many things wrong with this hotel. We checked in after 3 and were told our room wasn't ready, they didn't even offer to check our bags, just sent us away. We came back when they told us to, and the room still wasn't ready so they moved us rooms which resulted in us not getting the ocean view we booked. We didn't even complain because we just wanted to get to the room. The staff was rude, they make you feel like you're not allowed anywhere or your inconveniencing them, even though it's an all inclusive. The food was TERRIBLE. Although we found a nice spot across the street called Blue Gecko, but still we shouldn't have to go out and spend money on food when you pay for an all inclusive. The only nice people there were the bartenders and some of the wait staff at the restaurants. Overall, we had a nice time because we swam in the pool and drank all day, but I'm sure there are plenty of other all inclusives that have the same deal and are much more friendly and accommodating. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

It's an old property that shows it's age. The food was terrible. We ate off property for almost every meal. The alcohol selection was bottles of liquor I have never heard of. The rooms were old and the A/C mostly didn't work, neither did our safe or fridge. It's completely over sold as an all inclusive luxury property and its very far from that. But you get what you pay for so just know there is a reason it's so inexpensive to stay there.

No personal touch, Resort is so big with so many people unlike other smaller Resorts where the staff remembers you or your name; not the case here. The food and room alone are a bargain for the price if you snag it for a good rate. Beach is prime location but don't go here for peace and quite.

This place is terrible. Check in took forever as other reviews have mentioned. Get to the room and no ac. The entire trip. They could care less and didn't help with this. The food is terrible. We didn't find one decent restaurant. We ate at the blue gecko across the street for breakfast two days. Good breakfast burritos across the street, not here. Two double beds was two mattresses pushed together. There was no fitted sheet on the bed and you could see all the stains on the mattress. The beach on this portion of Cancun sucks. Lots of seaweed. It's also built up and the current makes it too strong to swim in. Basically don't stay here. I've stayed at Hyatt Ziva last year and it was awesome. Beautiful beach, pools, food and rooms. You won't get that here so keep looking

Huge lines at every restaurant. Wait time defeats the purpose of vacationing at this location.

The hotel had a nice beach, clean rooms, kind staff and good entertainment. However the Piyramid where the main shows are presented is so hot it is difficult to sit throu a show. The restaurants close early and are average at best. This is a budget hotel for those who are ok with jr high sports teams cutting you off in lines and corridors, or mannerless adults who otherwise never get out of the house doing the same. Too crowded and low end guests.

I was very disappointed In the hotel PERIOD!Check-in took so long, Food was disgusting.Drinks were pretty gross. Everywhere seemed flooded. Ice machine was broken! AC in room didn't seem like it was working and it was leaking! The only good part the staff was very friendly!

This is our second year staying at this hotel and they impress us even more every time. It's a great place for a family vacation. We love it!

Reasons why : 1) the food and drinks were horrible and made me sick 2) the staff was RUDE and unhelpful 3) nothing worked in our room including AC and it took 11 hours for them to do something about it after my boyfriend asked 8 times then finally had to go off on the manager and cause a scene so that they helped us because we had little ones sleeping in that heat 4) in both rooms we booked we found COCKAROACHES 5)only half of the amenities were available than promised. 6) all 7 days it was nothing but a crazy PARTY hotel with loud and rude drunk kids throwing up in the pools and girls going in topless in front of the children and families 7) THE BEDS HAD BED BUGS. We all left with so many bug bites we were miserable!! 8) they don't clean the rooms well or wash the sheets. 9) the toilets in both rooms didn't work and eventually got so backed up we had to call maintenance. But maintenance never showed so we couldn't go to the bathroom until the next day when we called 5 times so they finally came. 10) my boyfriend got mugged for his money and a gun pulled on him by some druggy gangsters on the beach area of the hotel and when we called security they didn't care nor did they actually send anyone to "check it out" This place was supposed to be safe for families to enjoy a vacation but it was far from it. I would never come back to this hotel ever, everyone in my family feels the same and I hope this helps people. I would keep going but the character count won't allow it

We did not get the building we ask for and one of the room had a leak in the room and bathroom we ask to fix never got fix we practically have to beg to get room switch after three days.

I had the plus band - food was ok. Lines waiting to the better food restaurants The all you can drink fresh fruit smoothie bar by the pool is awesome. The pool is awesome Views of the beach awesome, beach is really nice with rough waves coming in - lots of fun and safe Room ac was subpar. Room tv didn't work. Room USB ports didn't work. Very clean and nice beds though

We went for 6 days and paid to upgrade everything and added all the bells and whistles. The food was the worst I have ever had in my life, we couldn't find anything worth eating and that isnt the best pair for unlimited drinks.

I pay to orbitz a grand plus with view to the beach, with 2 beds , grand oasis give a room with one bed and NO view to the beach, all the hotel , halls, aisle, reception area , no aircondition unless you are in your room , they had 2 good restaurants and can't get in there unless you are waiting 2 hours to get in , a lot of noice In the hall , can't sleep some times, I blame órbita because I pay for a gran plus and they give me a basic one.

Nice view, but the hotel has lots of dome regulations, you can only go to certain area of the hotel to eat, even doe you have all inclusive, and my son room was leaking water from the restroom and we asked them to fix it for three days, never got fix and we had to argue for them to move him.

Mosquitoes in my room. Broken tv, they promised me to change the next day but never change it.

This hotel is in need of repair. Poor working AC. Refrigerator barely cools anything. Poor lighting in room. Doors that stick closed so you have to force it open. Staff was ok but only one bartender was very friendly. Most drinks are a joke and don't taste like they have any alcohol in them. Very difficult to get into a restaurant that's wasn't a buffet because you needed a reservation that must be made in person. And most restaurant food was mediocre at best. The room service was very fast! And no laundry facilities so you had to pay to have anything washed. I would not recommend this hotel

The room flooded and it took a whole day to get me moved to another room. Ruined my plans for that day. The air conditioning did not work the whole 8 days there called them several times to fix it but they never did. The food was mediocre at best and it was pulling teeth getting into any other restaurant on the grounds besides the buffets. This was annoying. The drinks served at the bars where watered down and they all close down early. This was the WORST experience at a hotel in anywhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would rather stay at a motel 6 than staying at the grand oasis Cancun the check in process took forever and wasted half of my afternoon. The shows are cheesy. Very disappointed.

Beautiful hotel , customer service is excellent, very welcoming and so much variety in food , drinks , and things to do! Love this hotel

My room balcony.

i would not go here again

The hotel had a nice beach, clean rooms, kind staff and good entertainment. However the Piyramid where the main shows are presented is so hot it is difficult to sit throu a show. The restaurants close early and are average at best.
