Loved our recent stay at RPRM. The staff are so incredible, they work so hard and really just want you to enjoy your vacation. Our room was clean, comfortable and offered lots of storage. They supply everything in the room including hair dryer, safe, iron, coffee and the beds are comfy. The food was also really good, probably the best food I have ever had at an all inclusive.

My fiancé and I had the best vacation at Riu Palace Riviera Maya! The hotel is beautiful, well kept, with incredible staff. They really provide everything you would need at an all inclusive, at any time of day! The breakfast buffet was delicious. And our favorite specialty restaurants were the Mexican restaurant and Steakhouse! We loved our stay and hope to come back again in the future.

The only thing that I disliked about the room was the lack of a barrier between living space and bathroom. No privacy. Even amongst family a bit of privacy is necessary especially in a bathroom. One of the dumbest designs I’ve ever seen in a room. This will keep me from booking here in the future.

Food was not great: cold, under or over cooked. Bar tender didn’t know how to make drinks. There was no transportation to local parks unless booked through RIU. Restaurants should have more healthy choices. Restaurants should stay open later. Room has a bathtub next to the bed. Not a nice look.

The entertainment left a little to be desired. If you don't want to go to the White Party (only at Riu Tequila) on Fridays, there is no alternative entertainment at ANY of the other Riu hotels in Playacar.

Generally hotel is good, clean, tidy, well maintained, fresh and new. Rooms are modern and clean, rooms cleans every day, with high hygiene standards. Food is fresh and has all that you need. Sandy beach is fantastic, water 28 degree C, its enough seats and beach towels. Main disadvantage - hotel is crowded, lines are everywhere, and noisy, laud music with low quality sound gear somewhat confusion for dream vacation. Short stay for honeymoon ceremony, big group of people - target audience for this hotel. Was it worth for money spend? Definitely. Has this hotel its own magic spirit - not at all. Sorry for that
