The people that work here are absolutely wonderful first of all , the hotel location is very safe , We had a wonderful family vacation here, Daily pool activity are nice , night time shows are nice , the beaches are still dealing with all the seaweed somedays there clear and other times not so good this is everywhere, sounds like the hotel will be doing some major renovations soon , would definitely like to back back and see all the new upgrades, One of the reason to come back to this Hotel would be because of the service of the people that work here .

There was nothing I did not like. Great service, great facility beautiful beach.

I enjoyed the staff and inclusiveness of Riu Maya.

Place is old , smells like mold because is old, food is hurble in all their restaurants . Tv wont even works , cloght toilets in your room and entertaining lobby restrooms , beaches full of seeweed can't even access the beaches , the recreation areas is smoking is allow so second hand smoke that yiu are inhalling. Will never comeback!

Very friendly and efficient staff. The rooms were not very sound proof. Could hear people and carts throughout the night in the tiled hallway which echoed everything.

The hotel is in need of some renovations. The pool was in really poor conditions and the beds are a little too firm, almost makes you feel like you’re sleeping on a wooden plank. The staff is amazing!

Pool and beach were awesome Food at the speciality restaurants was nothing to brag about. The buffet food was just as good if not better some nights

Staff very friendly and helpful! Beautiful resort and beach.

I have stayed at other properties in Mexico and the food was just average . The buffet was excellent although the restaurants were just ok.

Nice location and delicious buffet. Staff was always friendly. Toilet was dirty and sheets had small rips and stains. Mattress was old and too firm. Very poor water pressure. My room had no iron. Wall electric outlets we're extremely loose. The room smelled a little like cigarettes.

Seemed fruit juices watered down, wish you'd peel and clean shrimp. Should peel and cut mangoes.

To noisy at night. They had loud stuff going on until 11pm. To late for us. Didn't like sitting on the uncomfortable couch to watch TV.

Loved the beach front chairs and activities. Excellent staff and food choices.

Need to update whole hotel. Its out of date wife got sick from food

Overall property was amazing. The only downside was the beach. It was full of seaweed. I understand its different at different points of the year, but there was a lot in march 2019

the property was beautiful and truly felt resort like! The infinity pool was our favorite and the beach area was so peaceful near the palm trees in the back! The bar service was xtra amazing and the waiters knew exactly what my preference was. My drinks kept on flowing no matter where I was in the resort.

Every one is very friendly the food is amazing the shows the pool very clean staff is great
