The only problem was the seaweed in the ocean. We could not go into the ocean. That made me sad because I live in Las Vegas, the desert and wanted to swim in the ocean.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt the staff was very helpful & respectful everything was wonderful. They could use another smoking area they only had one & it was only 2 sitting benches which made it hard for all the smokers that was at resort. That's just a smokers point of view besides that our trip was absolutely wonderful.

The property was beautiful and well-maintained. Everyone here was very accommodating. I felt safe and the property was always clean. Perfect location — walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the ferry. Food options were pretty good and we didn’t have a problem getting into restaurants. The pool was always a vibe w a variety of music. I would definitely recommend a stay and would also return.

My stay at Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen - Adults Only - All Inclusive was overall pleasant. The resort was very clean, and the food and service were excellent throughout our stay. However, I didn’t enjoy the constant presence of salespeople trying to sell services or upgrades, whether we were relaxing by the pool, dining at the restaurant, or even visiting the spa. While the location is convenient and close to the market streets, which made exploring the area easy, the beach experience wasn’t great due to the large amount of sargassum.

I stayed here last year when it was a Hilton and had an incredible time and wanted to come back. I was a little nervous about the last minute change in ownership. However, the service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Any little issue that arose we super quick to be fixed. We had an amazing trip and will be back for sure.

Stayed about 10 days after the transfer from Hilton to Hyatt. That experience was not great. However, after we got to the resort, it was wonderful. The rooms were beautiful, and the staff was absolutely amazing. We went as a group of four as a girls trip. There was always something to do at night and the food was good.

We had a fantastic stay! The dining options were great for resort food. Our favourite was the fresh tropical fruit every morning at the buffet, taco bar for lunch, and the cafe (had greaf iced lattes and desserts). The foam party was a lot of fun and the pool entertainment team works hard to make sure everyone enjoys their time. The beach was experiencing sargassum, which we expected but we made the most of our time by spending it at the main pool. Staff was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions and food allergies. Staff was also very understanding and flexible in allowing us to use the resort facilities after we checked out since our flight was in the evening. This reduced so much stress of trying to figure out what to do for several hours before leaving for the airport. The only issue we had was with the jacuzzi in our room. The jets, once turned on, sprayed out black residue. It was not pleasant and we were a bit disappointed since we wanted to use it. But this did not impact our overall experience.
