Rooms were small, so noisey heard traffice until early morning hours. Loud carts and motor bikes. The food was not vety good and my wife was sick all night with stomach issues. No place to escape the out foors as everything was outside except in your room The showet had missing and loisr floor times. Told them it was our 40th wedding anniversary. They didn't even acknowledge it. Would not recommend this to anybody

This was our second stay at Priveleges. We ended up with unit 616 which is a Deluxe Ocean view suite. This unit was at the beach end of the property and had an amazing deck and view. The pool decking has been upgraded to a composite material since our last visit which was a nice addition. The staff and food were excellent. Having breakfast and dinner at Playa Norte Beach Club, was fantastic. The loungers and palapas on the beach were relaxing and enjoyable. I would suggest booking garden or ocean view rooms at this property, as the other categories may put you on the street or graveyard side of the property. The location is great with walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops and bars, plus many street food options. The ferry terminal is walkable, but it is only 100 pesos or so to take a taxi. I would rate this as an excellent place to stay.

The property was conveniently located. It was clean. The staff was primarily Spanish speaking only. They served margarine and I was unable to get butter. I haven't eaten margarine in 30 years. No 5 star resort should even cook with margarine. The food basically had no taste. The sandwiches and fries were ok. You had to use cards for beach or pool towels. A 5-star resort should have towels on chairs or available as often and as many as you need. For the price we paid, I can't believe they were so worried about steeling a few towels. The towels were not great quality, so I wouldn't want one anyway. They are understaffed horribly. One poor waiter was doing the entire beach area and one bartender. In my experience at other resorts, we had a bucket with ice and beer and drinks refreshed continuously. They would only put one beer in the refrigerator at a time. So we had to call room service or walk to the bar across the street to get another. Room service took about 30 mins. In comparison to other resorts I have stayed at in Mexico, I would give this one 3 starts at the most.

Wonderful staff

Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Food was about average. Only real issue were the guests that spent all day at the pool bar and then yell and scream obscenities for hours because they’re wasted. These were people in their 40s-60s acting like spring break college kids. We had a lovely room near the pool and were glad the pool bar closed at 6. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and went out of their way for you.

Loved the location and view of the ocean. Easy walk from ferry. Pool was fantastic. Concierge took care of golf cart rentals. Hotel decor is well done.

Great place. Stayed in a giant 2 level condo/room. Room #632. Has a roof top pool and large sun deck area. Spacious living area and bedroom with 2 bathrooms. Beautiful 360° views. Was really expensive for the upgrade, but… we said “why not”. 4th time in Isla Mujeres. Breakfast at the beach bar area was awesome. Same with lunch. Coffee machine in the room is terrible, grab a fresh brewed cappuccino at the bar near the restaurant. Will prob come back again in a year or 2. Nice pool area also. Great beach area is part of the hotel. Just do it. Book it. Peace and love.

Checkin was easy. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. It stayed very cool in the room despite being windy and rainy outside There was no hot water for showers for the three days we were there. The morning of check out they finally had hot water. - but I had already packed everything so didn’t get to take a shower. We did not receive our complementary bottle until day before check out. They never refilled our mini bar in the room either Many of the wait staff - especially at playa Norte beach were not friendly and looked irritated to be there and deal with customers. The beach area and chairs were nice and the drinks were decent. The pool was very chilly and not alot of people at the pools or pool bar. They had a taco stand but you couldn’t even go get a taco and go sit to eat it. Why have a taco bar if you can’t even get a taco?! I had to go to the beach bar to actually order a drink though as they were not attentive at all. Food was mediocre at the resort. Breakfast buffet boring and not a lot of options for an all inclusive. I would not pay again for all inclusive based on food alone. And based on service of staff and no hot water I would not and will not ever stay here again. Do not recommend to stay here. For the amount of money we paid we were very disappointed. Staff didn’t even seem to care about our concerns.
