Let me start by saying the property and the beach area was AMAZING!! I would recommend this hotel/resort to others going to Isla. There were a few things I feel could have made my stay more enjoyable and comfortable that would have me explore other locations. - there were small gnats or sugar bugs everywhere in our room and surrounding areas. I don’t know if this is normal for the area or not. - Satay the reservation only restaurant seemed to have a very basic menu but we went 3 times (because the food was good) and they could not get our order right. It’s was really really bad. Every order either had something missing or not ordered right. - We paid for a patio whirlpool, but put us on the second floor for everyone to view. We requested a different level but were told they were full so we opted out of using something we paid for so that was disappointing - Lastly, drinks we very basic and alcohol was very watered down. I am not a big drinker so this did not bother me with the exception the drinks were really sweet and could only drink one or two. All in all tho the staff was top notch, team catered to all requests.

I enjoyed the island overall. The pool and beach services were great. The beach area in front of our hotel is clean and nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a lot our couple massage, a 5 star service. Food was great, it was remarkable actually. Now here are a few things I did not particularly like. First, Expedia did not send us on time the email with the ferry tickets so we ended up paying those and couldn't get a refund at the end of our trip (after paying for a bundle package), even though we contacted the local transportation agency and Expedia customer service several times. Second, I emailed the hotel a few weeks prior to our trip to let them know about my husband's birthday. We never received the special courtesy in the room that they mentioned, but they finally managed to get him a mini cake at the restaurant on his birthday night. Another thing is worth mentioning, the hotel ambiance is down after 10pm. There's no bar open or disco til 2am like in other resorts. I guess it is a place just to rest and unwind. You do have 24h room service. In general, we did enjoy our trip and the island is charming. We even met some locals and they're great. I found a free snorkeling area near Mia hotel. We walked around a lot to find that spot. Thank you for having us :)

Was nice to meet quality people from all over the world and yet no language barriers. We had a great time without even leaving the Hotel. We booked a Whale Shark excursion and it was so amazing in September. We also released baby turtles and had lovely sunset walks. My husband and I also did a boat Dive and it was beautiful.

This is the second time we have stayed at the property. The first time we stayed about 5 years ago. Property since then has lost about half a star as the service attendance has decreased slightly and the food portions are very small. Due to this, I highly recommend that you only get the breakfast only package. Breakfast continues to be quite good and robust. I still recommend the property for its amazing beach and proximity to Isla Mujeres's Main Street, which continues to have top class restaurants no matter the cuisine you choose.

I have stayed here at least 7 or 8 times and this is our favorite resort. I love the location, beach, food and drink, and service. We truly have no complaints about anything at Privilege and we will continue to stay there whenever possible. We love the street view rooms, and love to watch the activity in the city from our balcony. A warning to some....the street view room is louder than the garden/pool view rooms but we don't mind this at all. Thanks to all the wonderful people who make our stay there a terrific one.

Most amazing all-inclusive that I have ever stayed at! Most beautiful beach in the world. Calm, baby blue, sparkling and no seaweed! The staff is hospitable, intelligent and hard-working. The rooms are like gorgeous, clean condos. The resort is quiet, relaxing with only 3 restaurants that serve amazing food. There are no kids, no casinos, no discos, just pure relaxation! The food is excellent. The alcoholic drinks are also amazing. I cannot wait to go back! I honestly felt like we were living in luxury and I have never been more relaxed.
