I have stayed at a few Secrets and was beyond impressed with this location! The staff were absolutely fantastic as well as every single bite of food… And we ate a lot!! The entertainment never slowed down, but it never fell over overwhelming. We had the perfect balance of relaxation and excitement I highly recommend upgrading to a preferred suite as the amenities are worth the extra cost (this goes for all Secrets). The room was perfection (added bonus: we randomly got upgraded to a PH suite!!) and the turndown service didn't waste any time. Our room was immaculate from beginning to end The beach was stunning! Even with it being a red flag during our stay, the seaweed was kept to a minimum which was great. I've stated places where they did not keep up with it, and the smell can definitely ruin the atmosphere. The entertainment shows were also absolutely incredible! It felt like we were at a live AGT show. If you are looking for an all-inclusive stay that takes care of you without the hassle of planning. I highly recommend Secrets, Maroma!

It was probably one of the worst experience I ever had. It started with the reservation department, I was trying to book secrets moxche, as we already had one room book there, I clicked on the Marina beach. I called right away within a few minutes to cancel but was denied after repeated attempts. Half of our family stayed at Secrets Moxche while other half stayed at Marina beach. On top of that the food was terrible and if a 3 star quality. I would have been better staying at one of Rue hotels with less than half of the price then staying at Marina beach.

Resort itself is far from a 5 star, the beach is but not the resort. Service, food, staff (except for a few like concierge in building 21 and bar manager) are unprofessional to say the least. Grounds are well kept but way too old to call themselves a luxury 5 star. Anyway its all a "secret" until you visit it. We will not be returning to the Secret Maroma. There are too many other much more modern options for the same price point.

We had a generally very nice stay at this resort. The rooms were excellent, comfortable, well designed, and beautifully maintained.and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and upscale. However, a couple of issues took away from the experience. The concierge assigned to our room was often unavailable and slow to respond via text, which made it difficult to get timely answers to simple questions. For a resort of this caliber, the level of responsiveness was disappointing. The more significant issue was our experience at the French restaurant. I was asked to leave because I was wearing nice dress shorts and a collared shirt that apparently did not meet the dress code. While dress codes are understandable, the way this was handled was not. We were never informed of the dress code when we put our name in, when I checked on our wait 45 minutes later, when we arrived, when we were seated, or even when menus were handed to us. Only after all of that were we told we could not stay, publicly and in front of other diners, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. Dress code enforcement also felt inconsistent and biased. At breakfast, I was told to change out of a tank top while many women were wearing tank tops or open-shoulder dresses without issue. The same double standard appeared at dinner. The issue wasn’t the dress code it was poor communication, inconsistent enforcement, and how the situation was handled. With better attention to these details, this resort could be exceptional.

Had an amazing stay here at Secrets, we stayed 2 nights and everything was perfect! The resort is so beautiful and well maintained, the room was spacious and very clean, the staff were all very professional and friendly. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, food was excellent. Our stay was very relaxing and peaceful which is what we were wanting. Will definitely stay again!
