Iberostar Cozumel All Inclusive

Room humidity was high no matter how low the temp was set and everything in it, including our hanging clothes, smelled musty, even after washing back home. Serious problem. Front desk info was contradictory on check-in time and guests who arrived well after us were placed in rooms ahead of us while we wait patiently in the lobby. More attention needs to be given to removing obnoxiously drunk guests from the pool area.

Comfortable beds, nice/clean room. Staff was great. There was a huge assortment of food but after a couple days, it all seems to taste the same. Take advantage of the restaurant reservations, good food there.

I have been to many all inclusives and i never go to the same area twice and esp never the same resort. For what I paid and what I received in return I plan on returning w my entire immediate family to this resort. 6nights for a lil over $1000. I've stayed at Sandals Antigua for more than double the cost and the food here was comparable. Very good food and the drinks were of good quality and did the trick. The staff was awesome and the grounds were great w a Ton of wildlife. The shows at night were incredible. Again considering I was going on a last min vaca not looking to spend a lot I got a lot more than I thought I would for my money. The rooms were small but I wasn't in mine long and the beds were comfortable and the Ac worked great. This wasn't a Partying resort and if you want Night life after the shows are done you will have to go into town which is a short cab ride away. Overall the food was excellent by any standard I heard to stay away from the fish and I did and had no issues. The staff, shows, and town 20min away were great by any standard. The drinks were more than adequate. The grounds and rooms weren't anything special but fine and the friendly wildlife all over the resort more than made up for that. I plan on returning w my entire family to surprise them mom, dad, etc. knowing the food - drinks -staff - and Value will be Spot On for them.

The room was clean, the room was comfortable. The property was nice, guest services were good as well. When we arrived at our room there wasn't any chairs on the porch, the refrigerator wasn't working and it was difficult to find our way around, the maps were small and hard to read.

Very relaxing all-inclusive resort with great accommodations, friendly staff. expansive beach with plenty of chairs and umbrellas, and excellent (shallow water) snorkeling. Highly recommend!

The place just needs a lot of work. Lots of bug issues, and the food which is good the first day, is always the same and you end out going out for meals. Rent a car. Place has been rode hard and put away wet. Stay somewhere else

Second time staying at this resort and 3rd time in Cozumel. Great location, low-key, and away from most of the spring break parties. Rooms and facility haven't changed since we were there in 2011, - thats why we came back. Resort is clean and the staff is very friendly. If you ask for something, they will do their best.

I've stayed in several resorts in Cozumel but this was my first at Iberostar. This resort was like a combo of all the things I loved from other resorts. It had everything we needed including a reputable dive shop on site. The food was great, maybe not 5 star restaurants but so many options. Late night food options. I'm usually not a "shows" type of person either but WOW! They were so good. Drinks did not disappoint. Got whatever we asked for, plus drinks we didn't! The resort grounds were well kept and absolutely beautiful! A lot of people complain about air conditioning. Ours was fine. Kept us cool. People forget the humidity in the Caribbean is what it is. They can't control the weather, but they do provide umbrellas if it rains. I can't wait to go back. Taking my parents next time.

We had a good time at Ibero. Overall the resort is good. Standard rooms are small tough, especially if you are planning to stay with kids. The room hardly fits 2 full size beds, closet consist of 4 tiny shelves and 8 hangers and is very spacious, almost no room for suitcases. Bathroom was also small but did the work. Rooms were clean, food was ok but not a lot of choice. I think for the price we paid we should have received a better variety/quality of food. Staff was very nice and friendly, the shows at night too.

This hotel definitely grew on me I'm not a fan of all inclusive hotels but I was pleasantly pleased The food was good with plenty of choices The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which is something I don't usually experience in Mexico. The rooms were a little dated The close proximity to Dressel divers was a plus !

Great experience. Beautiful resort. The entertainment staff was absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to make the guests feel at home. Loved them all.

Love the dive shop, animals and staff. Food not so good.

I loved the resort. It felt secluded and my kids loved the wildlife on the property. The food at the buffets was acceptable and the on site restaurants were great. The rooms were small but we were hardly in the room. I did like that they were bungalows and not a high rise. It felt like we were in the jungle.

This is my third time staying at this resort. It is close to the airport and well maintained. I always choose this location because of the fact that DRESSEL DIVERS is on site. Very clean and well maintained, they are in the process of making more improvements. The food was excellent and the staff was very polite. My room was 3314 and it was close to the dive shop. It hadn't been updated yet but worked perfectly for my needs. Recommend bringing a surge protector because there are limited outlets. Heat and hot water worked fine. Nightly entertainment was excellent and special thanks to the dive staff. I will return in the future!

Our entire experience was great. The staff provides great service always. The resort has awesome grounds and landscaping (and animals), this is true for all Iberostar locations we've stayed at. The bungalow-like accommodations are a nice touch. The food selection at the buffets was great, could always find something we liked. Plus they have ice cream. The pool and beach areas are very nice. The entertainment staff does a great job all day, and the evening shows are worth seeing. Perfect place for divers, the snorkeling was okay. .

Iberostar is the last hotel south of downtown and closest to Palancar Reefs. This means a short 5 to 15 minute boat ride instead of the hour ride from hotels closer to town. They have excellent food. They got a new chef last year which really improved the food. This year it's even better. The buffets and special restaurants (included) are very good to excellent. Huge variety for choices for all meals. The rooms are very clean, quiet, comfortable beds and pillows. (Some other hotels have concrete beds with a mattress on top.) Excellent staff: friendly and helpful front desk and bell captains, bar staff, special activities coordinator, food staff, room staff, and activities people. Great air conditioning, TV, in-room safe and strong door locks. Dressel Divers is the on-site dive operation. This is a first class operation. The staff are also very helpful, friendly and professional. They take their jobs seriously and the dive masters do a great job keeping their groups together and safe on dives. Their facilities are comprehensive. The beach is great. Soft sand that you can walk for blocks or further. Most of Cozumel's hotels have a rocky shore or small cliff, but the southern hotels are on nice beaches with palm trees and lots of cabanas for shade. The pool is large for swimming or cooling off and theirs a kids pool also. Daily intro dives classes are given in the pool. Most other PADI certifications are available too at Dressel Divers.

It was a great place to stay , food was great , the staff from the time we got there till we left were outstanding ! The entertainment was wonderful . Would go again .

Comfortable Food is better than most other all inclusive
