Amber adult section was definitely the way to go. You get cabanas, a butler, a lounge that has great drinks and is quiet! Was family friendly for sure-even more so than we were expecting. Staff was amazing!!!

I guess this might sound too good to be true, but my family and I had a wonderful time. We wouldn’t change a thing. My eight year old grandson said he would like the gift shop to be in the all inclusive! Ha ha. Other than that, he also would make no changes! Keep up the good work! 🙏☮️😎

This is definitely a family resort. Would not recommend for people wanting a quiet relaxing getaway. Food was very inconsistent. Breakfast 8/10, lunch 7/10 dinner 5/10. Ala carte restaurants were a pain to get into. Italian was good but very inconsistent food quality. Steak house was good but really hard to get a reservation. Mexican restaurant was not good at all. They seemed understaffed everywhere and not prepared with people or food at anytime. Bar service was frustrating. Always major line ups. Once again not staffed. Swim up bar was never open. Rooms were fine but inconsistent cleaning. Mini bar was only stocked 2 times in the seven days. Always had to go to the desk for water. Would not be on our list to go back.

The property itself is truly five stars, but unfortunately some services fell short. The overall structure is very good, the location is nice, the space is beautiful, the rooms are well maintained, and suite housekeeping service was good. However, regarding the overall services at the resort, we found the food options to be limited, especially at the main buffet, which is the only option for breakfast and lunch. There were few choices, and the food was consistently cold. By far the biggest issue during our stay was the waiting times. We had to line up for almost everything at the resort. There were 40 minutes waiting time for both check in and check out, lines every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the entire week, and if you went to get beach towels after 9 am you had to wait 30 to 40 minutes as well. We constantly felt stressed instead of relaxed. In addition to the long waits, we often saw several tables available, but cleaning service was slow because the same staff responsible for cleaning tables were also serving guests, which created confusion and delays. On multiple occasions, we also witnessed staff being rude to guests. It was clear that everyone was stressed due to the overall disorganization and long waits, but instead of improving the situation, it often made the experience even more frustrating.

I rarely write reviews, but this stay left me feeling completely disappointed. The hotel itself is beautiful — the property is well-designed, clean, and has all the potential to offer a great experience. Unfortunately, the management completely undermines what could have been a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the hotel was constantly running out of basic essentials. Towels? Frequently unavailable. Coffee? Often empty. The better food options at the buffet? Gone early and never replenished. Even simple things like coffee cup lids were consistently missing. For a hotel of this caliber, this is unacceptable. The pool situation was equally frustrating. If you didn’t wake up early and claim a chair by placing a towel on it before breakfast, there was absolutely nowhere to sit. It created unnecessary stress and competition among guests instead of a relaxing atmosphere. The food was another major letdown. While there appeared to be variety, most of it was bland and uninspired. Again, this feels like a management issue — cutting corners in ways that are very noticeable to guests. I do want to acknowledge the staff. Every employee we interacted with was kind, polite, and doing their best. However, they are clearly overworked and stretched too thin. The problem is not the frontline staff — it’s the management and overall organization. It’s incredibly frustrating because this hotel could be amazing. The facilities are there. The staff care. Our stay was very disappointing. The check-in process was slow and frustrating, and we were not guided to our room upon arrival. Throughout the stay, we faced consistently long lines for food, drinks, and basic services, which significantly reduced the quality of our experience. During our time at the hotel, both my spouse and I became ill and did not feel adequately supported by the staff. This further impacted our ability to enjoy the trip. It’s a beautiful resort aesthetically. Beautiful beach. Staff friendly.. but it is strongly lacking in areas in which I wouldn’t have booked here had I known previous to going. A) there is little to no entertainment for adults. There’s no pool games (even though they advertised daily that there would be).. wed show up to pool Zumba class to find out there wasn’t any. No rentals like paddle boarding, and to get a tennis racket to play tennis I had to chase someone down only to find out that there was no one to help me. B) No drinks available until 10am, and beach bar closes at like 5-6 pm daily. So you have to go all the way into the lobby if you decide to have a few more cocktails after 6pm C) not enough cabanas/not strict on people waking up at 4am and reserving them for the entire day to show up at noon.. D) there is NO SWIM UP BAR. Even though it shows pictures of one.. it is not functioning and hasn’t functioned in months/possibly years according to a staff member there. There is 1 beach bar for all 4 pools. E) the “adults only” doesn’t even have their own bar, and doesn’t have any music so it’s very mundane and boring. All in all. If you have kids, sure this could be a good resort. Lots of kid amenities. But I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone other than a family.

The resort was dirty - our room on arrival was dirty - still had items from the previous guest. We had to ask daily for something - to have our room cleaned, our mini bar filled, water in the room, towels in the room, robes and slippers etc. The food was ok - except for the Italian restaurant and steak restaurant. The beach is amazing. If you like to stand in lines for everything then this is the resort for you - we spent at least 20-25% of our time in lines - mostly to get food. Oh and having to get up at 430am just to reserve your beach chair or they are all hone. This resort has potential to be amazing but far from it currently. We goto the area every year and we will never go back to this resort.

My recent stay at this hotel in Cancun was very disappointing overall. The only positive aspect of the experience was that most of the employees were polite and friendly. Unfortunately, the food situation was extremely poor. The buffet grill mainly offered only chicken and tilapia, and the rest of the food was often cold. Many serving trays and plates were usually empty and not refilled. During lunch, I was never able to get fries for my toddlers because they were always gone, and in the mornings there was no yogurt available. The same issue applied to the juices — once they ran out, they were simply not replenished. The snack bar and drink service were also very frustrating. There are separate lines for snacks and drinks, both understaffed, and you can easily spend around 20 minutes waiting in each line. On top of that, there is a limit of three drinks per person. This makes no sense for families traveling with children — if you want drinks for everyone, another adult has to stand in line as well. The daycare service was unreliable. I tried to drop off my daughter and was told they would open at 1 PM that day, even though the posted schedule says 11 AM. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told the hours “depend on the hotel.” This makes it impossible to plan activities like a massage, since childcare may or may not be available. Additionally, one of the caregivers, Mari, spent most of her time on her phone and did not appear engaged with the children.

They downgraded my room without letting me know I had to tell them it wasn’t my room for them to tell me they had an occupancy issue and would move me to my correct room the next day and only offered hotel credit mind you I paid for all inclusive Amber room with a private hot tub they put me in an Agatha room the door would not shut and the sheets and comforters were very wet on the bed I tried to call for the front desk, operator, room service and housekeeping none of them answered at all and the tv in my room did not work the door is basically there for nothing because I can hear everything in the hallway even the wind blowing it’s ridiculous and the AC is practically broken it sounds terrible and the sheets at this hotel just feel damp in the bed like I hate it and wont ever in my life stay here again at night the power just completely cut off and it’s off and on continuously the tacos at the beach bar are soggy and nasty and the fries are salty as hell the food options are very little and the guy cooking had no gloves or anything so unsanitary they only seem to have pork beef and fish for lunch I wouldn’t book this hotel if you want a good all inclusive experience I called housekeeping for towels and I received nothing at all and breakfast wasn’t bad they had better options but I started feeling sick and lightheaded afterwards I asked for housekeeping for my laundry at the front desk and they told me to go to my room and they would get to me they never did

Very nice hotel and nice room. The pools and beach are great! Food was however very disappointing, the staff was friendly but always very busy and it felt like they were under a lot of time pressure... Two very irritating things: you had to wake up at 6am to secure a long chair at the pool or the beach, and the best restaurant included in the package was always overbooked so we could not even try although we were there for 4 days... One positive point: bars are very quick to serve you.

The food and drink service everywhere was terrible. Not enough staff for amount of people. Line ups at every restaurant and bar. There was never a bartender at the swim up bar and long lines for pool bar and pool snack bar. Unless you go down to get a cabana by 5am you will never get one and not enough lounge chairs for amount of people at the hotel. Only 1 restaurant takes reservations and there is a line starting at 8am to make the reservation. Staff were not friendly and were annoyed if you asked for anything at all. We stayed in the Amber room which was beautiful. Overall the whole experience was such a disappointment. I would never stay here again

Sensira Resort was a fine choice for my wife and two younger kids. The pools were good, and the beach front was also good; although a little on the small side. Our room had the two queen beds and were clean. The drain backed up and caused a flood but the staff fixed the problem really fast. The food was good too and had zero complaints with the quality. Sometimes the selection of the food at the buffet was lacking, that’s just me being knit picky though. Overall we had a great stay.

Highly recommended for people with kids. Staff were AMAZING specially Hever, Francesco, Bartolo in the buffet they were not only amazing to me but took the time to be over and beyond for our 1 year old son. Also, Javier at the Italian restaurant went above and beyond for us and our son. Finally, Belmar at concierge who went far and above to make our trip special. I recommend you check in with him upon arrival especially with kids, he will set you week up. The staff seemed understaffed for some of our trip, but the quality of people working there did not make you feel disappointed. Hotel rooms are above average in size and comfort, the property and hotel itself had super high end feel, while being geared towards families. Some line ups for food, but the quality of the food was great.

Incredibly well organized resort. The staff were always attentive, everything was clean and readily available. We even needed medical attention on our last full day and the doctor was on premises!
