The reservation process for the a la cartel restaurants is poor at best. They make it almost impossible. They say they are booked but yet you see empty tables everywhere. The transportation in the resort is horrible. Takes forever to get from place to place. Need two more buses or go with the golf cart train like many other resorts. The buffet had much to be desired. We had 17 people and would not go back.

It was very clean and we'll decorated. Some of the bar tenders weren't very nice. It was a bummer to pay for internet everyday.

Food at most of the ala carte restaurants was marginal, went for lobster on two occasions. Both times, the lobster was not available. Wanted to try one of the Japanese restaurants, told there were no reservations left. Ate at the restaurant beside one, and more than half the tables were empty as was the case in every ala carte restaurant we ate in. Also disliked that bottled water was not restocked everyday. We had to request it, considering the water situation in Mexico, this was unacceptable. The waiters were exceptional. Check in staff was not helpful, nor friendly. Being a first time visitor, we were definitely underwhelmed during check in. However, the facility was beautiful.

The hotel is near the beach, the view is very beautiful! Free food is delicious! The romantic dinner is very good!

Overall my stay at the Palace was great experience. There was no long wait to check in at the resort and we were in our room within a half hour of arriving at the resort even though it was prior to published check in time. I have stayed at the Barcelo over 10 times and have never been disappointed. The only negative was the seaweed on the beach and it appeared the resort did not attempt to clean it up daily as they had in past stays.

We LOVED everything! The staff is extremely friendly! The rooms are very clean. The food is delish! The drinks are yummy! We stayed at Palace and it was worth every penny! We will be going back!

This resort it’s big and has a lots of stuff to do. My kids loved the kids pools. Only down site was the seaweed on the beach which they try to clean up but it was just a lot. I never see so much of seaweed. But everything was excellent.

Great trip. Beautiful beach. Buffet’s could improve in the quality of food being served. The restaurants were great.

The grounds were immaculate and beautiful. They could have taken better care of the beach by removing the seaweed and keeping it cleaner. Food at the buffets was plentiful and sometimes tasted better than the somewhat bland dine-in options at restaurants. Overall pleasant atmosphere.

Bassnectar concert held at the property brought in young and rude crowd that took away from an otherwise beautiful resort.

Property is large and very clean. Food was good. During our stay we saw a lot of turtles .

Great hotel and beach but horrible staff compared to other AI

9 days of holidays in Mexico, Christmas music was everywhere !! I am not going to Mexico to listen to such music !!! service in terrible buffets, with few exceptions

Overall my stay at the Palace was great experience.
