The best resort to stay at!! The resort is huge and have a massive beachfront for everyone to enjoy. Definitely a recommended resort for anyone! The room is always cleaned so you get back in your room feeling refreshed with the tidy up bed and new towels. The buffet restaurant had a variety of dishes to choose from. The restaurants options that was available was amazing! The staff are very welcoming and always with a smile. The servers at the buffet restaurant always made us enjoy eating! Thank you to Valerio May and Angel Teh for giving us an amazing customer service! The resort is so huge that you have everything you need! Highly recommended!

Lots of buffet & restaurant options. Easy to navigate and the beaches were nice. They put on shows every night at the theatres and they were entertaining. The check in process takes a long time and rooms weren't ready on time.

It is a beautiful resort easy to get around….it is a must to upgrade or you are not treated with much hospitality! Which I tried to upgrade when checking in! Was told I had to wait until the next day, knowing very well my husband would not want to move once we were settled into our room! Felt we were not treated like the rest of our family that up graded before we arrived!

It was our second time in Barcelo resort in Rivera Maya we loved it Excellent service beautiful complex great food and friendliness of the staff one little issue where prices in the store near the beech 53$ for small bottle of sunscreen was just unnecessary poke in a tourist eye otherwise we really enjoy the stay 😊!!!

Beautiful and very large property. Very clean. I liked the shows in the evenings. The beach was beautiful. Buffets were good. The only bad thing I think is that we tried to book reservations at the restaurants the first day we arrived and could not get into any of the restaurants until our 4th day. We did have 7 people in our party so that may have had something to do with it. We did love our time there.
