Did not like we got switched properties and then they gave us another customer key for a room that wasn’t ours when we first arrived
All incredible good except: 6:30am background music until 7am. Let your guests sleep please - totally unnecessary Staff: some of them (not all) never smile never said hi. They appeared to be upset all the time Food- amazing selection but poor quality. Reduce the selection but please bump up the quality.. several dishes were testing really bad Restaurant A la cart Ok (just ok) but Capri at Colonial was an insult to the Italian cultur. The worst food ever tasted in my life Shop Prices - too high! Always empty etc probably due to the high prices

Barcelo Colonial was a great spot for our family vacation this year. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food at the buffets was excellent with a huge variety that changed every day. We enjoyed our trip and the property!!!

I liked the hotel and it’s amenities but they had a problem with our check in process . Our room wasn’t ready at the time promised And they didn’t apologized or said something about . In overall its a good hotel I would come again .
Everything was great! Had a wonderful time. Only negative thing I would say is the lunch & dinner buffets are gross
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Made reservations for dinner multiple nights for a party of 10 and never did the group get to sit together and the restaurant staff was terrible. The staff in the tropical buffet was friendly. Drinks at the pool were very weak and contained very minimal alcohol.

Property is fine, Premium could use more staff to help. Wish we could have had reservations at all the restaurants. Facilities are wonderful along with all the amenities.
