Very nice and fun property for being on the smaller side. Always some type of entertainment for the kids and adults. Best pool service is Edgar by far. He always took care of us! The neon/white party and the silent party’s were the best!

The food quality is not as good as other resorts. Whether it was the restaurant or the buffet. After Covid I expected more attention on the hygiene but I still see staff handling cut fruits with there hands with out gloves. There were flies around the food. It shows hotel management needs more care and attention.

Our family of 19 stayed at Riu Palace for my parents 50th anniversary celebration. We enjoyed our stay despite the weather conditions with Hurricane Beryl. The hotel had a great preparedness plan and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure guest safety. The staff overall was great. The dining options could be expanded to include more vegetarian options. We had a great time at Riu Palace. We were especially impressed with the preparedness plan with Hurricane Beryl. The staff and atmosphere were also great. The one item that could be improved is the dining option, there were not many vegetarian options. Overall had a great time despite the weather with Hurricane Beryl.

I loved that they had activities for all. We took our 4 year old and she had a blast at this resort. I think the atmosphere is unique and friendly for the most part. It is emaculately kept. I even had a birth surprise set up that made my day, especially since we had to leave a day early due to the hurricane.

We checked out one day early due to the hurricane. We have always stayed at the Riu’s. We have been to this Riu three times. When checking out I asked for a refund for the last day. I was told there would be no refund. I then pressed even further and asked for a receipt to show that I checked out early. I finally got a printed receipt. I also had to ask for receipt for the bill. It was impossible to get these and I felt the customer service was rude. I have never experienced this and have probably stayed over 10 times at different Riu’s!
