The resort was great and our staff "Buttler", Luis was absolutely amazing in making our stay a pleasant one. Thank you Luis. The biggest dissapointment was that at booking this trip, it was not clear that there would be no transportation to/from the resort - which added cost to our trip that was not planned, and when you are in a foreign country, it is very uncomfortable and not always safe how you book transportation. We paid over $200us to get from the airport to the resort, then Luis suggested Uber and that was much more reasonable. Expedia should improve this service when booking a trip.

Me and my husband booked this hotel to attend a destination wedding. We stayed on the adult side with a swim out. Overall our experience was great however what took it over the top was our personal Expedia ambassadors David & Luis!!! When we arrived at the hotel we found out that booking through Expedia got us a few extra perks including our own personal Expedia ambassadors aka butler service. The resort itself was nice , food was good , beach was beautiful but these 2 gentlemen David & Luis were amazing . From booking dinner and spa reservations to co-ordination of pharmacy deliveries and a scooter assistive device for someone with our party they went above and beyond to make sure our every ask was answered. Ask for them ! Julio by the beach was another stand out for service ! Keep in mind if you have any trouble walking a distance this resort may be a bit big for You but motorized scooters are Available at a cost of $55 per day brought an outside company. Other than that Food A+ , Beach A+ Service A+++

The services provided by the Expedia Ambassadors David and Luis were excellent during the period of our stay at Planet Hollywood Cancun. They communicated with us about our plans daily and made sure our needs are being addressed. David and Luis made our stay more enjoyable and memorable. We were treated like stars.

The staff were very friendly and hard working. Two aspects that overshadowed the experience was the fact that guests went to the pools first thing in the morning to ‘claim’ seats. The policy of not reserving the chairs is not followed up on so it was impossible to get seats without requesting that staff remove towels from unused seats. Second, the property lacks adequate seating for group interaction. Before and after dinner, unless you go to see a show, there are very few places to sit and enjoy being outside. Other than those issues, we enjoyed ourselves.

This is a very honest review. Just got home yesterday after a 6 night stay (a girls getaway) with two of my friends. Restaurants- 10/10 Tons of options at each restaurant that you are sure to find something you like…even the pickiest eaters too lol. Room Service- 8/10 Room Service was wonderful. Only issues were they screwed up our orders in some capacity a few times. 2nd morning we placed three separate breakfast orders and they just brought us three of one of the orders and then a couple other times they brought items we did not order so it was wasteful. Entertainment- 9/10 The entertainment was amazing. Only wish they had more of it. Pool- 9/10 If you get up at the crack of dawn (or before) to claim a chair then you will love it. If you don’t then there is no lounge chairs left as they get claimed super early. Beach Access- 10/10 The beach is stunning and there is tons of seating down there. Highly recommend heading down about 30 min before sunrise to take in the beauty. Hotel- 8/10 Hotel is nice but it needs some TLC in the rooms and hallways. We stayed on the adult side and the hallways were littered with garbage, dirty dishes and even dirty Q-tips one day. The halls need a good hose down which given that they are concrete and tile should be easy. Our room was okay but if you compare is to standards of hotels in Canada then it

This resort is great for bigger groups, younger people and night life. I loved how many food options there were and the amount of entertainment. The taco truck at the adults only pool was our favourite place to eat the entire time we stayed. Always hot, fresh and tasted amazing. The rooms could use much up keep. Showers didn’t feel very clean, everything fabric always felt a bit damp didn’t matter if you had a dehumidifier brought to the room or not. So didn’t always make for the best sleep. Beds were very comfortable though. We travelled with a group of 9. It was extremely hard to get reservations with a bigger group so make sure you book all meals ( breakfast, lunch and dinner) well In advance. 3-4 days at least. If not they will get your group in at 9-9:30 and then you miss the nightly entertainment / shows! This was very frustrating for our group. Over all staff was extremely helpful, kind and always around to ask questions or lend a hand. We rented the pool side cabanas 2 days in a row. It was well Worth the money with the bigger group to have loungers our own pool and 24/7 service the entire day. The regular pool is ridiculous. There are signs saying no reserving loungers but it doesn’t stop anyone. People will get up at 6am just to go through a towel and flip flops down on the chairs and claim it as their own. I feel like the staff should do a better job enforcing these rules. The app they make you download is the most frustrating and useless thing about the place

This was our first time staying at Planet Hollywood Cancun Adult Scene. We booked the Directors Suite and it was amazing and big!! The room was very clean upon our arrival and the staff kept it that way during our stay. Upon arrival, we met with our Planet Hollywood Expedia Rep, Jose, and he assisted us with all of our dinner reservations. He also offered to assist us with anything we needed during our stay. Jose proved 5 star treatment and assistance. Mauricicio also assited when Jose was not on property and he provided excellent service as well. The resort overall was beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast and lunch buffets were really good and our breakfast waiter Felipe provided amazing service!! We spent most of our time at the adult only pool. The Castaway Pool Bar was great and our bartender, Maurice, made amazing drinks!! All of the staff that we interacted with were very professional and provided top notch service!! The specialty restaurants that we visited were very good overall but sometimes the food was hit or miss. We will definitely stay at this resort in the future.

Our butler was friendly but not efficient , we waited for two hours for our room before we had to personally go to front desk and inquire about the hold up , we didn’t receive our complementary bottle until the day before our last day , there is no night life for adults only and the buffet was very basic and bland , the breakfast was the only time buffet was good , Mexican restaurant 0/10 but the hibachi and steakhouse was great!

The room was immaculate. Housekeeping did a great job daily! Food was wonderful. Drinks were amazing, and the beach was super pretty and clean. Resort staff was friendly and helpful. 10/10 across the board!

A lot of people complain about the food but to me it was a solid 8/10 and the entire resort was beautiful and lovely. Enjoyed the service and amenities available. Luis was an amazing help to us during the entire stay.
