This place is AMAZING! If you like a party atmosphere, this is what you’re looking for! The water slides are so much fun (just get ready for a workout climbing those stairs) and the staff is great! Using the app to get more towels, pillows, blankets was so nice and easy! The 2 swim up bars were perfect! The beds are a little firm, but I like firm so that was good for me!

On the site, shuttle is included but that's a big lie. I had to pay my transportation and expedia was totaly useless. No refund, NOTHING!!!!!
Hotel is brand new, everything is good and simple, clean, staff is friendly and helpful, the beach is out of this world.

The experience was poor. The resort was basic. When it rained the Roof was leaking water into the hall, this is supposed to be a new resort? And the food , wow the food was not good at all; no care was put in any off the food except Kulunarium which was ok. The workers are not welcoming and the sports bar food selection was trash… nothing was hot. No room service, won’t clean the room unless requested, communication is also poor comparing to other Riu’s I have been. Overall 1 out of 5 , will not return. Ps..is the alcohol even real?

Had the best time over spring break! My husband and I are in the "over 50" crowd. I was apprehensive to go over spring break but once there- no worries! Pros: Customer Service and cleanliness. They go above and beyond to help and are always cleaning! Ulises was the best at the reception area. I had a few questions and he was right on it, even gave us a great room for our anniversary! Food, while others have said Meh, I get that, but there are items that are fantastic! At the Italian restaurant, we got the beef filet. My husbands was perfect, could cut it with a fork! Mine, not so much. Asked for a steak knife and still felt like I needed a chainsaw. I guess its a toss up. The one constant great food was in the buffet! Highly recommend and love the fresh Guac and pico! Great service on drinks, always found a chair poolside, activities every day! Cons: I cant think of any! Well, one con to mother nature, the sargassum and heavy waves but I cant fault the Riu for that! This is a new resort and it shows. Loved it and would go back. I recommend it to everyone.
