Although we paid for the all-inclusive option that includes tips, we kept having to sign for our food and drinks; we felt enormous pressure from staff at all the restaurants to leave extra gratuity. Even though we kept telling them we paid for the all-inclusive option, staff kept insisting the tip is not included. I will only go to a resort where every guest has to be on the all-inclusive plan. There was plenty of up-selling going on at the restaurants with the paid premium food and drink items; otherwise, the included food is delicious at all restaurants. The property itself is small, but beautiful. The activities team and the room cleaning staff are the best.

This is by far the best resort in all Mexico. U want to go to Cancun and enjoy your stay with friends and family this is where to be. Very family friendly for all kids and ages. Great for adults as well. We had such an amazing time and counting down the days to return our family trip next year back. U will not regret. So classy clean high end relaxing and much more.

I’ve been to Cancun more than 10 times, and Garza Blanca is the first resort that made me feel like I don’t want to return to Cancun at all. The resort is extremely boring, with very limited activities both during the day and at night. The poolside is completely lifeless —no entertainment, no energy. I would not recommend it for families with young kids, as there’s almost nothing for them to do besides the pool. The beach is awful — so dirty you wouldn’t even think about getting in the water. Breakfast is served in just one restaurant, and the options are very limited. There’s no café on site, and although they have a Starbucks, you have to pay separately for it despite the “all-inclusive” package. In fact, the “all-inclusive” label here is misleading. You end up paying extra for almost everything except basic dining — $16 for a fresh coconut, $6 for a popsicle, $5 for a short carousel ride. For a resort marketed as all-inclusive, it’s ridiculous. Overall, this was a huge disappointment, and I would never recommend Garza Blanca to any of my family or friends.

I will never return to Garza Blanca, nor will I recommend it to anyone. 1. Concierge Name: Claudia This was one of the worst parts of our stay. Claudia persistently pressured us to sign up for the timeshare presentation, even though we clearly told her we were not interested. She repeatedly stopped us to question why we weren’t taking the “promotional offer,” which was actually a 90-minute presentation with lunch. I told her multiple times that I would let her know if I changed my mind, but she still tried to schedule it for us. When I declined, her demeanor changed instantly. She lost interest in helping us with anything else, including our request to book a hydrotherapy spa treatment. She claimed the spa rarely answered the phone and suggested I go there myself. When I asked her to call, the spa answered immediately. Claudia told me they only had 11:00 AM or 5:00 PM available. However, when I went to the spa in person, they told me they had availability all day and even gave me a tour, the hydrotherapy area was completely empty. Claudia lied. After that, she stopped greeting us entirely. It was clear her role as a concierge ended for us the moment she realized she wouldn’t get credit for booking a timeshare presentation. We recently stayed at this resort and were impressed by how beautiful and clean everything was. The rooms were updated, modern, and spotless. The pools were just as lovely—sleek, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The food was absolutely amazing with plenty of delicious options. We traveled with small children, and while they enjoyed themselves, there weren’t many activities geared toward kids. This is definitely more of a place to relax and unwind rather than a destination packed with entertainment. The only downside was the tipping situation. Even though it’s an all-inclusive resort, the staff would bring you a bill after ordering food for you to sign and would strongly encourage tipping based on inflated prices shown on the bill. While tipping is appreciated in Mexico, it felt a bit pushy and higher than expected. Overall, it’s a great spot for couples or adults looking to relax in a clean, modern, and peaceful setting, but not ideal for families seeking a lot of activities.

Loved the property and staff. There was some confusion at checkout where i recieved a bit of an imaginary additional bill. I tried to understand the source of the additional charges and even the admins at the desk could not explain. Also the daily credits are not really useful.
