The food, wow. I read every review on this resort. Those that chose less than a 5, chose it based on silly reasons! No straws, construction, maintenance, etc.... Not discounting all of these as items as silly, but come on, straws? This resort is fantastic. The food at EVERY restaurant was excellent. Service was top notch. Francisco- Main Lobby Bar. Edgar- Sports Bar. Victoria- Family Selections Pool. These folks were just a few of the fantastic men and women that helped my family have a blast. I would gladly copse this resort time and time again. I’m so glad I went with my gut and looked past some of the negative post! You won’t be disappointed!

This property is beautiful but they are not up to speed on service. Most of the staff were nice and did try to accommodate us but there where so many little things that need improvement. Our room safe was broken and we requested to get fixed which never happened. They told us we had to eat at the buffet our first night because the reservations were booked. After I made a stink about it they got us an early reservation and we had to rush to make it. When we got to the resuturant it wasnt even full. None of the resultants were at full capacity for our stay. They were also out of kids wristbands and it took 2 days to get one. While we didn’t have any issues without it we wasted time checking for it several times. We went to lunch at the Posiden buffet and they again were making people wait when they had open tables. The best food was at the steak restaurant and if you are in the family selection the kids really enjoyed the breakfast in that building the most and it was easier then going to the main buffet on the other side of the property. On that note- this property is huge- while they do have golf carts and small boats to take you around you do have to wait for them so walking was usually faster. The boats were barely available so we never got a ride, which the kids really wanted to try. This property does have a nice beach area- and many pools. Overall if they could improve on thier staffing, food quality and service it would be a great property

A/C did not work !! Everyday some body would come to fix the Air— all said the same thing —that Freon was running out ! So they will load it up and then it would work till about or around 3 AM — then Hot , Humid air would come out of the vents ! So we just open the Balcony door to let in cool air !! But that brought in bugs- flies .. I did complain @ the desk for change of room on first day .. they said they didn’t have spare rooms ! I like to have a refund on our room— # 11429. #2 Indian Restaurant — Bogalis — was a joke — waiters had no idea what different dishes had- or they couldn’t pronounce them - so we requested To talk to the Chef ! He was Not Indian - so how can he cook Indian meals !!

The hotel has great potential but currently its a waste of money.

Awesome new resort. There was still some construction going on. Pools not heated, no hot tub. Not sure why they couldn't heat the pools. We came for the tennis, and we did get to play, but it wasn't all together (no bathrooms, wind screens, etc). But, it's going to be great, and beautiful! Would love to return next year.

The worst experiences I’ve ever had at a resort. We wasted 4 hours trying to get into our room 15305, due to faulty electronic door systems ~ after 5 trips to the front desk they finally changed our room, we still had our luggage with us from arriving at the resort at 1:45pm. Arrived at second room 15326, at 5:45pm, a room that housekeeping neglected to properly clean; globs of hair in the shower & sink area. In the second room,15326, the air conditioner leaked from the ceiling all over the floor for hours before it was fixed. (The first time, housekeeping only mopped up the water). This was all the first day! We used the small garbage pails to catch the water overnight. We called down to housekeeping multiple times because there was no bottled water in the room, that took 24hrs to get! By day 5, the air conditioner stopped working; called maintenance several times and it was never repaired, spent the last 3 days of our trip with a faulty/non-working air conditioner. Restaurants had limited items on the menus, we were told they ran out of things (we went to dinner every night by 6pm). Not sure how to justify that! Got food poisoning at lunch on the 10th of November due to raw salmon from the grill in the buffet restaurant, LaBlanc (I have pictures). There was absolutely no ginger ale anywhere on the premises! Spent the remainder of my stay, yesterday & today in the bathroom. Construction went on from sunup to sundown. I will not stay at this chain again!

Family with small children Friends

This property is beautiful but they are not up to speed on service. Most of the staff were nice and did try to accommodate us but there where so many little things that need improvement. None of the resultants were at full capacity for our stay. They were also out of kids wristbands and it took 2 days to get one. While we didn’t have any issues without it we wasted time checking for it several times. We went to lunch at the Posiden buffet and they again were making people wait when they had open tables. The best food was at the steak restaurant and if you are in the family selection the kids really enjoyed the breakfast in that building the most and it was easier then going to the main buffet on the other side of the property. On that note- this property is huge- while they do have golf carts and small boats to take you around you do have to wait for them so walking was usually faster. The boats were barely available so we never got a ride, which the kids really wanted to try. This property does have a nice beach area- and many pools. Overall if they could improve on thier staffing, food quality and service it would be a great property

We are very pleased to know that you enjoyed our pools, our beautiful beach and all our facilities in general, however, we are very sad to read that your kids did not have the opportunity to give a ride on our boats. We are currently working in a technology to track the boats and have a screen that shows the location in our different piers, in addition, we will start operating two more boats to satisfy the high demand that this fantastic transportation service is requiring.
